Title: Alone
Description: Not that she doesn't deserve it, but...

Renee Saber - November 26, 2004 06:20 PM (GMT)
Renee swayed her hips boredly as she floated--though, obviously, not literally--to the table that was pointed out. The only one available, really, and meant for about three. She flicked her head back, hair lashing out behind her like a hungry shadow before she stood impatiently next to the chair, obviously expecting somebody to pull it out for her. Arms akimbo, and her hip jutted to the right, she glanced around, catching a waitor's gaze with a sultry pout. The waitor--she didn't bother look for his name on the tag-- hurried over, almost stumbling over a chair in the doing so, then, the essence of elegance once again, he asked of her needs, pulling out her chair without even knowing he did so. Renee, pleased with the result she had gotten, seated herself, letting herself sink comfortabley into the chair before crossing her legs and setting her hands neatly in her lap. "Wine." She purred, waving him away with a grin.

Renee sat in the most comfotable postion she could with her back strait and legs elegantly crossed, one hand in her lap, just between each thigh, and the other smoothing out the napkin on the table before her. She made sure to stay away from windows, for fear her reflection would give her away. Looking down, she admired herself as best she could. She sorely missed her reflection. It was what she wanted most, but she couldn't have it... Renee wore a red dress--typical, but fitting for her-- and had a black, silken shawl around her arms. A thin black leather band was wrapped around her neck, and she wore black high heels. Her legs were bared from the knee down, and her arms were bared the same from her shoulders down, many loose black strings wrapped around her wrists for ornament.

The waitor came back with wine and two glasses. Obviously he assumed she would be joined soon... Renee just gave a seductive grin, watching him until he poured her a little and moved away, leaving her to sip at it, and wait for what she assumed would be nothing. People around her spoke merrily, lightly colliding glasses clicked, and all around there arose chuckles and giggles from different pairs, consumed by the conversations they held with their partners. She kinda missed that too--companionship. She didn't miss it much though. She never let it get to her as much as her lack of reflection. Amusing herself with humans filled most of the empty space. She never had needed a deep relationship, just human contact. Being a vampire changed nothing, and actually gave her a reason to stick with this method. It worked all the way around! Besides the reflection...She frowned, leaning back in the chair, unfocused for a moment as she sat there alone, unaware. Completely unaware.
