Title: Nothing
Description: Sweet nothing

Altessa - November 25, 2004 05:13 PM (GMT)
Naturally, the lights were dimmed, and the room was without audience. Nothing was sceduled for tonight, which surprised Altessa, but didn't hurt her in the least. She had come just for the sake of wandering, and if something had been going on, she would've moved on her way, to something else...Something empty.

Altessa frowned, looking at all the abandoned chairs. She felt taller, standing in the middle of the stage with a dim spotlight on either side of her, just barely illuminating the room beyond. She tugged at her gray skirt--a new something she bought--and straightened the pleats, feeling rather vain to do so. She brushed at her raven-hued blouse, ruffled her hair into place, and crossed her arms, feeling slightly chilled. Of course, she had only herself to blame, wearing a skirt, high heels, and blouse with such whispy silk sleeves. She was an idiot in her vanity. And an idiot in general.

She dropped to the ground, propping herself up on one arm and letting her legs droop over the stage, ankles crossed. Her hair sprawled over here shoulder, and she looked rather whistfully at the back door, unafraid to look so whistful, due to lack of company. Really, she enjoyed the silence, and the feel of emptiness. It made her heart skip, knowing nothing could hurt her if nothing was there. Something about the thought lingered, and she couldn't help but mumble the word softly to herself. "Nothing..."

(Short post, but it works for now...If I can live with the shame...)
