Title: Bad Blood
Description: Damned Disease...
Nafretiri - October 16, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
As the sewers connected in parts to the sewers, Nyx considered them an ample part of her territory. Sure, other vampires could come and go as they pleased on this part (she supposed), but in reality, this was hers. They stepped one itty bitty little toe out of line, she'd be using their bones as toothpicks for a very long time. That being said, it didn't mean she'd necessarily kill them. No, that was far too easy. A malicious smirk spread across her face simply thinking of the pain she could inflict.
She'd run out of toys lately. It was very sad when she had nothing to play with. Their music had all but faded from her little abode. That was half the reason she was hanging from the wall, her fingers deep in the cracks of the cement in the darkest corner. Had anyone looked in her particular corner, they would have seen her eyes staring brightly out through the darkness. Unfortunately, there was no one here, something that irked her.
There was a rattling down the tunnel that signified that the subway was coming. The metal contraption slid up, and the mechanical doors opened, revealing one lone man walking with a briefcase into the dark. He was middle aged, around thirt-five. He had a plump waist and a receding hairline. He wasn't a prize by any of Nyx's standards, but he'd do. It seemed like he was going to be the best she got tonight. A bad toy was worse than no toy at all.
Dropping down silently, she slipped up behind him. With one hit to a pressure point, he fell limply and unconscious. Unable to resist the smell of fresh blood, she smiled devilishly and pulled him forward in a passionate looking embrace her long fangs sinking into the delightfully soft flesh of his neck. She pulled out her fangs jaggedly, tearing some of his throat, and ready for the warm taste. As she took her first gulp, her face contorted into disgust and she threw the man away from her.
"Son of a bitch!" swore Nyx, wiping her mouth. She put her hands on her hips and glared at the form of the man. "That is disgusting. Why the hell did you have to have lukemia of all things? Don't you have any compassion? God!" She gave his head a swift kick, the neck breaking with a sickening crunch. The man's head was now facing backwards. "Servers you right, moron."
Turning away from the body, Nyx pouted.
((OOC: Just a note to all mortal character holders... post at your own risk. Nyx hates humans. ^^'))

((*Leaps at a chance to give her character extreme torment*))
Zin glanced at her watch, noting that she'd seen a train scheduled for about this time at night, and quickly dashed down the steps, her coat flying out behind her, hoping desperately that she would be able to catch the train before it left the station.
She skidded to a stop as she saw a figure at the bottom of the stairs, neck at an odd angle, and tumbled downwards, thrown by her own momentum down the stairs. She landed with a soft thud, grit her teeth against the wave of pain that shot up from her palms and knees.
She groaned, started to try to get to her feet and spotted the corpse. She gave a terrified shriek, and shoved herself away from the corpse, her mind blanking out of thoights, replaced by the flight or fight instinct.
Obviously her instinct was a terrible coward, and not the least bit afraid to admit that fact.
((Sorry about the short post...))

((Before I post... ARE YOU SURE?! Nyx is not a friendly person by any extent. She has fun killing things in the most gruesome manners imaginable to innocent bystanders who don't even do anything to her. Your character might get hurt, or taken slave or something, and trust me, if you become her slave, you'd wish you were dead. So, one last chance for you to pull out.))
Gabriel - October 21, 2004 01:08 AM (GMT)
Gabriel walked slowly through the station. He sighed heavily as he approched the train. "Stupid mortals. I hate this damn machine it stinks of human. Thoose worthless worms stealing our land." His perspective of humans had changed greatly since killing his grandson. He senses another immortal. "Well atleast that means their is one less human to deal with." He spat as he bought his ticket and walked further on. "I wonder which vampire it is? I sure as hell hope it isn't Nafretiri I don't think that would be a very loving meeting." He laughed more tripping a mortal down the stairs. He got a glipse of it's neck. "I could use a midnight snack. Might aswell take this one then try later."
He smirked walking down towards a darker area od the subway. He headed towards the mortal who was now rubbing her head. The second he got his chance he slammed his fangs into the female's neck. Draining her dry and tossing her onto the tracks. "Is it that much to ask for a virgin!" He growled nearly spitting up the blood. "Oh yes it must be. I mean anymore everyone is screwing what happened to morals....oh well I shouldn't be talking about morals now should I?" He glanced over at the now dead female. "She most likely deserved it. They all do anyway." (Sorry..it's short.)

((I'm sure. After all...what's the fun of playing a mortal if you can't try to get them killed? ...I can't help but laugh at that...
What can I say...I get a kick out of tossing my characters into situations that can get them damaged-physically or mentally.))
Andarian Ixius - October 23, 2004 09:26 AM (GMT)
Andarian Ixius stepped off the subway train and, pulling down the hood of his long black robe, gave a knowledgeable smile as he glanced at the corpse of the young girl.
"Idiot vampire, killing this in a public place!"
He turned, thinking he'd heard a noise.
"We are supposed to preserve the vampire's secrecy!"
Andarian moved over to the corpse and, rubbing his finger against the girl's neck, tasted the blood. He stepped into the shadow of a pillar with the same smile and disappeared.
Nafretiri - October 24, 2004 07:31 PM (GMT)
Nyx turned her head slowly, cocking it forward. Her long red hair fluttered over her shoulder and have her an ominous look when combined with the color of her eyes. A girl, and she smelled healthy enough, even if she didn't seem to like the gore of the body, but that was okay. Nyx herself didn't really like it. It lacked class and artistry. That wasn't the point. The point was that perhaps this new child could be her new pet. Who knows how long she'd last, but she was definitely better than going without.
Much better.
Another immortal emerged, and Nyx recognized the power immediately, even if it was a wee bit different than it had been the last time they met. She gave an annoyed sigh and rolled her eyes. Placing her hands on her hips, she turned to see him kill a girl without remorse. Well, this was a change. Last time he'd been a mortal loving fool, even if he'd tried to conceal it. She almost though he was as good as some of her coven members... Almost. It was a crude display, and though it was amusing to watch, it held no deeper meaning. Murder should be beautiful. His obviously wasn't.
"If it isn't Gabriel. What's the matter kitten? Get tired of leading the mortal loving wagon along with those Enashe bitches?" It was quite obvious that Nyx was not in a good mood. Having no toys to play with had caused her to become quite grumpy. The fact that her last attempt had bombed didn't help matters much.
She was beginning to feel rather ticked when yet another vamprie emerged from the subway and shouted stupid things. Could the guy have been more moronic? Probably, but that didn't help her from pointing how utterly idiotic he was. "Yes, and yelling out that there are vampires in the middle of a subways is just so incredibly intelligent. You want to preserve secrecy? Stop yelling out laws in a fucking mortal station, you ignorant bastard! God!"
Regaining her composure, she shook her head, and turned and walked towards the mortal, the spikes on her shoes clicking angrily on the cement floor. Kneeling next to the girl, she put on her kind facade. "I'm sorry about this sweetie. You must be scared. Pay no mind to these weirdos." Nyx cast a look at the body. "Here, let me help you. I can take you somewhere safe. I promise you a time you'll never forget." With a smile, she pet the girl's hair. "What do you say?"
Gabriel - October 24, 2004 10:00 PM (GMT)
"Oh wow if it isn't that bloody psycho. Long time no see. Meet any interesting people lately? Now then I'm not a kitten. I don't like playing cat and mouse like someone I know." He shot a cold glare at her. "But yes I have grown tired of defending these creatures. Ever since I killed Drew I just havn't been feeling myself. I mean Nafretiri plotting with Drew. I had no choice now did I? I couldn't let her bite him so I killed him. Come to think of it though had I let him be bitten then I could have prolonged his death. I think he got enough pain though. I mean he was impaled on a branch and had a slow death seeing how it didn't hit any major major organs." He snickered slightly.
He paused just to see her walk off towards a mortal. "How rude." He sighed. He wasn't feeling himself. His depression was clear and that was drawing out his darker side. Being ignored only pissed him off even more. He clenched his fist letting his fingers drive into his veins. The blood from his most recent meal dripping down his hand. "Great just great."
He walked towards the vampire who had the nerve to speak down to Gabriel. "Ok you little peice of shit. You can go shut up and crawl away into darkness before I shove a pipe through you head and nail you to the damn ceiling. Plus you idoit. No one is going to notice her body laying on the ground in the dark. However if you keep running your damn mouth about vampires we are going to get exposed. So how about you run off and go find something to do. Now if you don't mind I'm going to go off and stab some mortals with needles until they ask me to kill them. Thank you very much."
Gabriel turned back around and looked at the dead girl who was on the tracks. "You know what. Nyx is a bitch...I should go screw with her plans." He smiled to himself going after Nyx and her "Friend" to try and warn the girl or get her to come with him.
Andarian Ixius - October 25, 2004 10:46 AM (GMT)
Andarian Ixius looked out to see the female vampire lifting the girl, saying something about helping her. He did not yet disengage from the shadows. And what would a Tarepha know about shouting out laws in a subway? he thought. They are all brutal killers! He smoothed back his black hair. My presence here is removed from the minds of the mortals... unlike the demons there...
Suddenly he turned to see another immortal approaching him. He reprimanded him for utilizing the laws. Something about nailing me to a ceiling? he thought he would be lucky to catch me!
"Both of you are idiotic; do you not know that a Nephim can disguise his presence and very much everything else through the power of his eyes and voice? I give you an example!"
Andarian seemed to go into a trance. Several minutes later, a man walked down the steps, slowly, like a zombie. Come, come to me, mortal! thought Andarian. "Come now, my friend, we are all friends here. Have a seat, warm yourself by the fire!" he said, voice laden with Command. "Yes, yes, an empty seat. Go on, sit and have some food!"
The man sat on the cold stone floor, picked up an invisible chicken leg and bit into it. "Now that you have eaten -"
The man stood up.
"Come over here so that I may eat!"
He stepped over to the mortal and examined his veins. "You see, immortals, they are helpless to me." He brought a sharpened nail to the man's neck, slit it and drunk. The blood ran saltily down his throat.
"Now take back your earlier statement -" he paused and examined the male vampire's eyes. " - Gabriel."
Zin - October 26, 2004 05:11 AM (GMT)
The obviously insane point in this situation had not passed over little Zin's head, and no matter how stupid she seemed to be at so many times, she could normally tell when not speaking might be the best decision. Right now for example. The blood had drained from her face, and she was trying to figure out just why these people were acting like this was norm-vampires?!
That word stuck in her mind, and she remembered all the cheesy horror flicks she'd seen. Crappy novels where the vampire was really just a loving thing that didn't want to kill you...just wanted to borrow your blood. There was a new age trend going around, with so many people calling themselves vampires, but she had a sinking feeling that in this situation, it was not the case. And she really didn't trust this lady at all, she just had a terrifying feeling clinging to her, making Karson's blood run cold.
Her eyes flickered to the blood on the man's hand, and her eyes went wider, and she let out a terrified scream, managing to skitter farther away, staring at the three with absolute horror. "Oh....damniiiit..." Her voice squeaked slightly, as she stared at the fact that the third was drinking someone's blood. "Good god..." She began cursing quickly and quietly under her breath, all thoughts of 'crazies' and the obvious state of mind of those in her surroundings. She held onto the string of curses like a lifeline.
((...That seemed longer than it turned out to be...curses...))
