Going down the small hill, Tyn arrived an abandoned warehouse. Pushing the slide door open he entered. Dead leaves scattered the ground. As he walked the leaves crackled under the weight of his body. It wasn't very dark inside the warehouse but Tyn found a lamp that worked. The light was very dim in the warehouse. To his left he saw a wooden ladder. It lend to the top floor of the warehouse. Climbing up the ladder he jumped up onto the platform. A beam stretched across the whole warehouse. Balancing himself he walked until he was right in the middle. Bending down slowly he sat down. Being alone was what he needed for the moment, last night he had the memories again. Tyn vowed to himself that he would never linger in the past. It always found a way to creep back into his life.


He changed his body position so now that he was laying on the beam straight. The flash back played in his mind again. "NO DONT!" his sister Le screamed " LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
Tyn's father slapped her and then kicked her in the stomach, knowing that she was 8 months pregant. "dont touch him" she whispered in pain. " shut up you stupid bitch!" his father yelled walking over to Tyn. Tynaix was crying at the sight of his sister on the ground holding her stomach tightly. He tried crawling over to her but his father grabbed his shirt. " where you do think you're going?" he asked sniggering. He was so angry at his father he wanted nothing else but to take a gun and shot him straight in the forehead. " youre pathetic" Tyn said through gritted teeth. "NEVER SAY THAT TO ME!" his father yelled as he tossed Tynaix right through the kitchen table. " when I'm back you better clean up the whole house...or else" Right when he left Tyn crawled over to his sister and checked to see if she was ok. Then the memory faded away. Tears were streaming down his face now.

Thunder rolled in the distance, rain had barely begun to caress the ground as Rin limped towards the warehouse. Her gaze followed the old metal walls of the once living warehouse, she could feel the blood trickle down her leg from the deep wound. Slowly she pushed the door opened and closed it behind her breathing heavily as she pressed her back against the door.

She stared into the empty blackness of the warehouse as bloody tears streamed down her face. Why?, her mind asked, Why would they do that ... judgmental bastards. Thoughts of her burning home entered her mind and she placed her hands over her eyes and cried.

As he was lying there wiping his eyes with the sleeve of his jacket he heard someone else enter the warehouse. He stayed quiet as to not bring attention to the fact that he was there. He heard the person close the door, he turned his head a bit to get a view of who entered. It was very dim in the warehouse he couldnt see much at all. Squinting his eyes he still couldnt. The person was crying deeply, blood was dripping from her left leg. His vision was blurred a bit from his tears, he wiped his eyes dry. Tyn looked again and it shocked him as to see who it was. " Rin!" he said out loud enough for her to hear him. Without thinking he jumped off the beam and landed on his feet, then ran straight to Rin. " what happened?" he asked concerned. " are you alright?" he asked looking down to her wounded leg.

Rin looked up at him quickly as he ran to her, 'W-what are you doing here?' she whispered her voice choked with tears. 'Oh Tynaix ... my home ... they destroyed my home.' she closed her eyes and hung her head. 'I came here to get away from them ... mortals ...' there was a pause as she remembered he was one and she looked up to him a look of pleading in her eyes. 'their looking for me ... they found out about me.'

She rubbed at her tears as she followed his gaze to her leg. 'it hurts ... but it'll heal.' Pain shot up through her leg and she winced.

Tynaix was so worried about her. " no dont worry about me, let's worry about you right now" he said ripping off a long strip of his shirt. He took it and wrapped it around her leg. Funny thing was that he did the exact same thing to Tsuki but instead of her leg it was her head. "everything will be find, they wont find you" he said. He knew where she would be safe. Tyn had a town house she could stay at. No one would suspect her to be hiding there. " you could stay with me for as long as you need to until all the commotion dies down" he said trying to keep his voice from cracking from his emotions. This was horrible, he knew his kind was this evil and cruel. But if his friend was to ever be hurt by those type of people-arrogant, cocky, closed minded he would kill them all in an instant. He looked up at her and saw the pain in her eyes. A tear fell from her eye. He wiped it off with his finger.

Rin smiled as he spoke, 'thank you ...' she said softly the pain in her leg slowly subsiding as it began to heal. Looking away as he brushed away her tear she listened to anything out of the ordinary. There was nothing, not yet anyways, she knew now would be a good time to go, but she still couldn't move that fast.

She exhaled and closed her eyes. Quivering as her leg started to hurt alittle under the strain of standing she moved to sit wincing as she sank to the ground. Quietly she looked to the ground thinking about all that had happened. 'Please don't worry too much about me.' she said softly smiling warmly at his compassion her eyes upturning her face slowly to look to his.

Tynaix felt much better now that Rin was feeling better. He smiled warmly at her. As she sat down slowly so did he. Feeling cold because of his ripped shirt he rubbed his hands together. Breathing hot air out of his mouth to keep himself warm. Rin told him not to worry about her, but problem was he worried way too much. " i cant help it Rin, i have to worry about you" he said slowly. " i care too much about you and Tsuki to not worry"

Rin removed her coat slowly, the bottom of it singed. 'here ... you need this more than I ...' She smiled as she handed it to him and leaned back against the door blushing slightly at his words as she looked to the ground. 'Thank you ... it's good to know someone in this world still has feeling enough to care.' Resting her head on his shoulder she closed her eyes as she began to feel tired. It took alot from her to heal herself, she was afterall still young as a vampire.

'Tomorrow night I'll look for a motel or something ... I don't want to be a burden to you ...'

Tyn took the coat and whispered "thank you" to her. His face lit up as Rin spoke. Her words touched his heart. " it's no problem anytime, anywhere you will always have me here" he said smiling at her. " no that wont be needed" he said feeling her put her head on his shoulder. " you can stay at my place for as long as you need to, i dont want you spending your money" he said lovingly. The only two people he trully cared about was Rin and Tsuki. His family got the cold shoulder from him.

Rin felt her eyelids grow heavy and she knew if she didn't move she would sleep there until the next night. 'thank you ...' she mummered sleepily as she permitted her eyes to close, giving in for a few precious seconds.

heaving a sigh she moved slowly and got up, the wound on her leg was now a scab soon to return to her flesh. It was sore and so she limped alittle. 'I hate to hurry this ... but I do not wish to sleep in the warehouse tonight. I think the sunlight would leak through the many cracks and kill me faster than those mortals ever could.' She smiled lightly as she extended a hand to him. 'And plus I think you would like your home more hmm?'

He got up quickly when Rin said they should leave quickly because the sunlight could kill her rapidly. He took the coat off and put it on Rins shoulder. He was very happy when Rin said she would stay at his place. He knew it was safer than the motel since the people could find her easier. " yeah i think i like it better, and i know you would too" he said smiling. They slowly walked out of the warehouse, Rin wasnt limbing as much now but the wound wasnt completely healed. He took her arm and put it around his shoulder and helped her walk easier..
