Title: Typical Night

" ahh, nighttime" he whispered to himself. Night time was his favorite time. Walking down to The Sanctum he was feeling un easy for some reason, but he just forget about it and went on without another thought. The Sanctum is a smal building a church for his kind. Walking up the steps he reached out his hand and grasped the door handle pulling hard to open it.

Candles lit the room up. Spider webs could be seen everywhere, but that didn't bother him. Walking down to the aisle to the shrine to pray. He kneeled on one knee and started to pray. " ti emon de monie" he said. Getting up and looked around. It look as if no on has been here for ages. Taking off his jacket he sat down on one of the benches and started to think his past over again...

It really hadn't been ages, but, of course, Colton wasn't going to sit on those benches. One was broken somewhere in the middle back on the left side from human weight, and most of them looked to be rotting away. Not to mention, all of them were covered in a layer of dust of varying depths, depending on the flow of the drafts, but in any case he wasn't about to try and uncover what was under all that grime. Still, the name of this place suited his needs perfectly. The Sanctum. The Sanctuary. His sanctuary.

It would have been to the newest entrants favour to make a more thorough scan of the church. Saying no one was there was quite the understatement, but really, Colton rather hoped the man hadn't noticed anyone was there, as it was much easier to sneak out when no one was expecting you. Then again, this was where he was hiding for now. The minute he stepped out of his sanctuary, he'd have to deal with Lily and Codi, Bo and Hannah, and he would rather just avoid that whole situation. It felt good to be out and get a fresh breath of air. Not that he could breathe.

Colton was the new kid on the block. He barely knew what to do when it came time to eat again, let alone any other tricks of the trades of vampirism. He had no idea of half the goodies that came with being of the nightlife. So, instead of performing some spectacular feat, like becoming mist and floating away, or running at inhuman speeds, all he could do was try and sneak out the door. Soft steps, barely audible, carried him to the door, and that's where he was caught. With a loud scrape and a creak of protest, the door cracked open. The young man winced, cringing at the noise, not because it was painful, but because it denoted a failure on his part. He was going to be spotted, and maybe talked to. That was the last thing he wanted.

Sitting there silently he had his head in his hands. He suddenly heard a door squeak. " whose there?" he asked turning around trying to see who or what was the cause of the noise. He got up off the bench and walked down the isle. Looking around he saw no one in the Sanctum. He just wanted to be alone tonight, but he could sense someone was here too.

It seemed the common theme tonight; who wanted to be alone more? Colton wasn't really feeling the theme for the reason any other might be. No, Colton wanted to be alone because he was scared out of his mind. There was no way he could die, and come to again without heat, without breath, with fangs nearly an inch long, and a terribly painful reaction to daylight. There was no way. Or, maybe it was because he was being burdensom to the people who were trying to help. Or, maybe...

In any case, seeing another thing, be it human or vampire, was not at all what he wanted to do. The man called out, and Colton faded back into the shadows. Silence echoed around the dilapitated church, and not a breath from Colton disturbed the settled dust. From the shadows, a cautious hand peeked out to try and push the door open the rest of the way. Another groan, and more scraping, and the hand was withdrawn. He'd never leave at this rate.

Tynaix began hearing more creaking.who's there? Whats there? Is anything there? he thought to himself over and over again as he walked around the Sanctum. He didn't mind it if someone was here with him but, he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone ethier. Just needed some peace and quiet. Walking back to where he was before he heard the noises he sat down. The bench creaked as he sat down.

A bit of moss was growing on the bench but that didnt bother Tynaix much. He took the thought of someone there out of his mind. " nia beu noe da" he prayed hold his hands together in front of his head.
