Title: Coffe House Boredom
Description: waiting for anything to happen

tsuki - September 11, 2004 07:44 PM (GMT)
Sighing tsuki sat there looking down at her coffee. There wasn’t many things to do at the moment so she had decided to wander around the city. She had found her self at the coffee house as the sun was going down the many colors played across the shop window. She loved the night as much as any nocturnal animal. She was a mused at the thought but shook it off. Looking towads the ally she wondered what was happening with everyone.

Vanessa - September 11, 2004 08:08 PM (GMT)
Lily was trying to not feel guilty. She hadn’t abandoned the poor boy, she had gone out to feed! And he needed to learn to be alone. She still felt guilty at leaving without realizing he’d probably be frightened if he woke up alone. However, now that she’d left him, she wasn’t going to go back until she was finished.

The dangerously curvy woman entered the coffee shop, hoping she wouldn’t run into either of her two problems. And, as luck would have it, the place was pretty much deserted. There were a high school couple on a date, a few college kids using coffee fuel to cram for a test, and a bored looking girl staring out the window.

Lily ordered some sort of fancy drink from the young man at the counter, ignoring the fact that he stared at her chest rather than her face as she placed her order and paid for it. She resisted the urge to throw the napkin dispenser at his head when he turned to make her order.

tsuki - September 11, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
out of the corner of her eye she watched the woman enter the coffe house. She rolled her eyes at the man behind the counter that was staring at the womans chest. Grabbing a napkin despencer she threw it at the man, hearing a satisfying thump and a string of curses she turned back around a smirk playing on her lips.

The man was very confussed and angry, mumbling to himself he continued to make the womans coffee.

Vanessa - September 11, 2004 08:48 PM (GMT)
Lily knew what Tsuki was doing even though she had her back to the mortal. While the napkin dispenser was still in the air, she turned to stare gravelly at the girl. ‘Little bitch..’ She did not voice this aloud, instead shook her head and turned back to face the counter again. It didn’t really matter that she had wanted to do it first. She hadn’t, that was the point.

When she received her drink, she thanked the man and took a seat near the window. It was raining out, a rather chilly September night. The children just back to school hated this kind of weather because it was a direct manifestation of their feelings.

tsuki - September 11, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
sighing she watched the woman sit down and look out the window. looking back at the window she stood up, walking to the garbage she noticed the man was now watching her, growling she chucked the rest of her drink at the boy. "pervert" she mumbled, then turning she walked out side, turning she stood just out of view of the window looking up at the sky as the rain beat upon her.

a sweet smile spread across her lips as she became drenched from the rain. her hair clung to her shoulders and face. there was nothing really to do but stand there. she allways loved the rain and would allways be happy when it porred down.

OOC| Um.. your character just left the coffee shop.. How are they supposed to interact now? I doubt Lily would leave just after sitting down. *eek!* I hate it when Rps go nowhere, lol. |

((OOC: May I try and help out? If not, ignore this post. Difficult, but I tried to get post people involved again. 9.9))

Codi did not like the rain. Nope, not one bit. But at least the rain made her tears seemingly go away. She could say, 'No, I'm not sobbing. I'm just all wet from this rain.' People were giving her funny looks now, too. How long? A few days, and she had worried herself into a fit. Colton had not come home. She was sure he was dead, just like Jake. That had been the first place she had looked, and when she had found nothing under that overpass, she had snapped. To those who didn't know her, she looked crazy. To her friends, well, crazy was still a good word, but worried sick and scared silly also fell into that list of words to describe her.

She hadn't changed her clothes, either. Codi was wearing one of her brothers shirts, and the rain was causing her more grief. His smell was slowly, slowly, seeping out of the clothing. She needed to be dry. She needed to know that he was still going to be alive when she found him. She needed to know he'd still smell the same, look the same... She needed to know. That's why she was described as crazy. In her hands was a picture, flimsy from being waterlogged, but somehow, still clear enough to dicern the face of a tall, serious looking young man and a cute, curvy, flirtatious girl. Like Lily, she had curves. Unlike Lily, her curves were old-world women curves. She was soft looking, from the extra bit of chub that hung around the edges. No, not fat. Just not model thin, but it wasn't like you could tell tonight anyway.

The picture was of her and her brother Colton. He was missing, she was frantic, and now, she was asking some overly happy girl if she had seen 'this man', and thrust the picture into her hands, sobbing all the while. They way those two could argue when together... The way they mourned when they didn't have one another. It was like bi-polar disorder, except... Not. Codi had effectivly trapped her newest victim, Tsuki, into giving her an explanation to where her brother could be. "He went missing two nights ago, a-a-a-and I can't f-f-f-find him anyw-w-where... Have you seen h-h-h-h-him?" She glanced around a moment, and peered inside the coffee shop.

That was one figure she could alway recognize. Beautiful, leggy chick with gorgeous hair and a killer wardrobe. If she didn't hate that woman so much, they'd have enough intrests to consider being friends. But, no, that absolute hate held pretty solid ground. Friendship was not likely. Codi turned back to Tsuki, speaking still impared by the sobs. "Could you h-h-h-hold that for me? T-t-try not to get it wet." Like it wasn't soaked already. Codi then disappeared into the coffee shop, dripping and furious, on top of over-emotional. "Where the hell is my BROTHER." Screamed the last word, and everyone went silent. She was stiffling sobs, and some would pity her. Other would find her insane. She had directed the comment to Lily, and some eyes wandered over to her.

Like Lily had hoped earlier: Thank god the place was almost empty.

Vanessa - September 12, 2004 10:10 PM (GMT)
Lily remained silent, terribly silent. She didn’t look at Codi, didn’t make any acknowledge towards the people staring at her.

“Sit. Down.” She said through clenched teeth, her words scalding the quiet air. It was uncertain whether it was a demand, a request or a threat, but she when she turned to stare at Codi, unblinkingly, it was to dare her to disobey.

She turned her head again, to look out the window again. She saw the girl Codi had thrust her picture unto, wondered whether she could enter the coffee shop and attempt to join the conversation.

She had damn well told Colton to call his sister, but he refused.

OOC| We'll try, Skirr.. |

tsuki - September 12, 2004 10:59 PM (GMT)
Blinking at the girl she smiled sadly at her and shook her head no. blinking she nodded and held the picture. hearing the outburst she entered the coffee shop and looked at one girl to the other. She was confused. Blinking again she had the face the clearly said ‘this happens a lot to me.’

Shaking her head she put on a friendly smile and asked the one girl “is there something I can help with?”

Skirr - September 13, 2004 12:05 AM (GMT)
Codi wanted to defy Lily. Oh, she really wanted to walk over and slap the woman and demand that she answer her, and not play petty, 'I'm in charge; you listen to me' games. But, no, that would get her no answers. But could she do without answers and slap Lily anyway? God, what a desision she had to make.

Codi stormed over to the table and smashed her hands onto the top of the table, disrupting the packets of sugar and knocking some liquid from Lily's drink out to dribble down the edge. She then proceeded to thump herself down into the chair across from Lily, and return the glare. "So you know where he is." Also said through clenched teeth. Her sobs were gone, but tears were still being squeezed out of glaring eyes.

When the second girl, the Tsuki girl, came into the building, Codi answered her. "Do you have a cell phone." It wasn't phrased politely, nor was it even said to her. She wanted answers. She was going to get her answers through Lily, from Colton. Oh, they were going to have a talk.

tsuki - September 13, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
blinking she was surprised at the demand taking a deep breath but since she had her back turned to her she didn’t notice the irritation growing on her face. Shaking her head again she put a friendly smile on her face. “And may I ask why you would need a phone?”

Vanessa - September 14, 2004 12:19 AM (GMT)
Lily didn’t react when Codi made her temper know. She didn’t flinch, didn’t blink, didn’t move. She was stone. To an outside observer, it was hard to tell if she even heard this conversation. But she did.

“For what it is worth, Codi, I told Colton to call you so you wouldn’t worry, and he refused. Don’t you dare be angry with me over that.”

OOC| Short, or what? It’s been a long time since I’ve been in an Rp with three people! |

Skirr - September 14, 2004 04:13 AM (GMT)
Codi was having no crap with her tea today "Bullshit." Of COURSE Colton would call. He was her brother. "You probably tied him up or something. Colt would always call me and let me know. You don't know him. You don't FUCKING know him." There goes her mouth again. She used his pet name to indicate that, yes, he was HER brother, not Lily's. HER'S.

It was difficult to convers with two people at once, and try and be nicer to one than two the other. "I need to call someone. Why the hell else would I need it?" Apparently, she wasn't doing so hot with being nice to Tsuki. She was going to have to be nice to get what she wanted. That would be a phone and her brother, but when talking with the right people. it just wasn't working.

((OOC: Me too! XD Mostly been just you, 'Nessa love. And, about the phone, I don't want Colton to talk to her, but I want her to find out about current events... Iunno. Just play be ear? Or, eye, as this is typing...))

tsuki - September 14, 2004 10:58 PM (GMT)
growling in annoyance she reached into her pocket and fished out her cell phone, holding it out she said “here” as she grabbed it she looked out side and was happy the rain was still falling. It reminded her of so many things. As a soft jingle came from the door Amaya trotted in and jumped onto her shoulder. Blinking she smiled at her.

Turning she glared icily at the man behind the counter as he started to say ‘no pets allowed’ but had cut short at ‘pet’ when she gave him a icy glare. Turning back too the two girls she smiled sadly at them. Then she said in a silent mumbled tone “god they act like drake, and rin” shaking her head she sighed and waited for her phone back.

Vanessa - September 16, 2004 01:40 AM (GMT)
“And whom do you expect to call, Codi?” Lily asked icily. British accents made wonderful icicles if you got it right. And of course, Lily got it right.

She glanced over when the cat entered, but for the most part ignored Tsuki. The mortal could have been another stool, for all she mattered to Lily right now. She didn’t even pay attention to the Drake and Rin comment, not knowing who these people were.

OOC| I’m not being mean, Tsuki.. I just doubt Lily would be really talkative to strangers now that she’s been faced with Codi. :) |

Darnit, it's cold out here...

Melic usually liked the rain, but at the moment he was too cold to like it. Melic never coped with being cold well. Looking around, he made a beeline for the coffee house, shivering slightly with cold.

He swiftly padded to the door and with a relish, opened it, enjoying the warmth radiating from inside. Glorious heat!

Melic was in the process of sitting down and ordering something when he witnessed what appeared to be quite an intense arguement. Swivelling around, he watched the two women as they quarreled.
