Title: A Trading From Human To Human
Description: a human for drugs
tsuki - September 11, 2004 03:14 AM (GMT)
coming near the abandoned warehouse house tsuki was being dragged by her father closer towards the warehouse. Tsuki had tears streaming down her face, she was still in pain from her last beating from her father. She was scared she had heard about the warehouse many times before. She knew her father came here many times to get his drugs. But now he had, had enough with her and was going to use her to get more drugs. Struggling against the ropes that tied her hands behind her back she trembled as he slamend the door open and threw her in.
Hitting the floor she whimpered sitting up as best as she could she looked around to see some drug dealers scarring at her. She hated it when men stared at her like that. Growling through her gag she tried to seem wild, but a quick hit from her father stomped that and turned the growling to whimpering.
Her father smirked as he watched her then looked up and said “is this sufficient payment?” thy men only nodded and stepped forward. Shaking her head in fear she tried to back up farther but hit her fathers legs. Turning she slammed her head backwards hitting him hard in his (^^ wouldn’t you like to know)ok ill tell ya) testes making him fall over in pain. Scampering up quickly she ran farther back into the warehouse.
Nafretiri - September 11, 2004 11:39 PM (GMT)
The warehouse was filled with the putrid smell of the toxics humans were taking. It really was quite disgusting, filling their bodies with the poison and rotting their insides. It made their blood taste all the worse. Nafretiri watched from behind some crates as a father made to trade his daughter. Apparently there were few things that changed during the course of the history. Selling off humans was one of the similarities. She could only imagine what those men would do to a girl who was obviously as innocent as she was. The girl was as naive as a new born foal.
A frown crossed her face. Nafretiri knew exactly what men like that would do to a girl. She'd had it done to herself. A bubble of disgust and determination filled her stomach. The girl would not have the same fate, not if it was up to her. No one deserved such a fate, not even the scum of the earth.
With a smirk, she watched the girl kick her father in his genetallia and run. The girl was actually running right towards her. Slipping further into the shadows, she waited until the precise moment and grabbed the girl by the arm and pulled her close. Offering a vague gesture of her finger in front of her mouth as a sign to be quiet, she held the girl close and listened to the men. No, that would not be the girl's fate.
tsuki - September 12, 2004 12:11 AM (GMT)
Running through the warehouse she allmost screamed as a arm reached out and pulled her out of the path she was on. Blinking she snapped her head up to see a woman standing there making a sign to be quite. Nodding her headshe stayed silent s she watched the men run by. After while her father passed by. When that happend she pressed closre against the woman and shook in fear.
Nafretiri - September 15, 2004 10:43 PM (GMT)
The fear rolling of this girl was easy to detect. Not only could she feel it in her mind, she could smell it. In her arms, the girl began to tremble, and when the father ran past, she pressed herself closer into Nafretiri. A disgusted look came onto the Ancient's face, not because of the girl, but because of the father. Imagine, a daughter being so utterly frightened of her father that she wouldn't resist the embrace of an utter stranger. How she loathed the father more and more with each passing second.
In a comforting gesture, Nafretiri began to stroke the girl's hair, whispering very soft words of encouragement in her ear. The woman knew what it was like to be mal-treated, having suffered such injustices plenty of times before. Well, she was not about to stand idly by while some crazed lunatic man who had the nerve to call himself a father battered this child. It seemed that the old custom of having slaves was not as abolished as some of the era had thought. It made a not twist in her stomach just thinking about it. Nothing deserved that kind of treatment.
When she was sure that the father was out of hearing distance, she whispered, "I shall not give you over to him, have no fear of that. I will help you escape this place, assuming that is your wish." It wouldn't be the first time a child tried to convince themselves of the parent's true love.
tsuki - September 16, 2004 12:41 AM (GMT)
When the woman had started to stroke her hair in a comforting way she relaxed slightly. Blinking she wasn’t sure if she had heard right or not. Looking up she asked “are you seriouse?” but with the gag in her mouth it came out as “r huw seios?”. blinking she reached up to take the gag off but winced as it snagged from the bandages. It also had stretched some of her old wounds from her father in the past. Looking up to the woman she inclined her head towards the ropes that were tightly wrapped around her wrist. By now the color o f her wrist were turning slightly whiter then they should be, and a tad shade of blue.
Nafretiri - September 16, 2004 01:17 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri chuckled lightly as she heard the muffled words that were spoken to her. "I assure you, I am quite serious. I am not monster enough to hand you over to those men again." No, she wasn't monsterous enough to do that at all. Just the thought of it made her feel slightly ill. Taking a deep breath, she looked at the gag and, walking behind the girl, untied the dingy cloth that had been used. It was dropped to the ground and forgotten.
Returning to the front of the girl, she pulled out one of her sais, casting an apprehensive look at the mortal. It wasn't often mortals saw other mortals carrying around weapons of such grandeur, especially gold ones. Deciding not to mention it unless the girl did, she carefully cut the ropes. The blades were sharp enough that she didn't even have to saw the binding rope.
"Can you walk?" she asked, trying to help the girl up, which was difficult to say the least considering the mortal was six inches taller than herself. This was certainly going to be an interesting sight to see.
tsuki - September 16, 2004 11:28 PM (GMT)
(She is? Lol I though she was taller)
She smiled at her for what she said. As the gaged was removed she wanted to yell in rejoice but didn’t. Seeing the sais she didn’t say anything, but looked at it with awe. It was excellently made and taken well care of.. Sighing in relieaf as the ropes fell to the floor she brought her hands to her face and started to rub the feeling back into them.
Smiling at her she nodded and stood up. A little shaky but she was all right. Looking at the woman she just noticed that she was taller then her, when your scarred your mind plays tricks on you. She mused to herself.
Nafretiri - September 16, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Ohh yeah. Nafretiri's like a midget. She's only 5'2"))
The woman moved shakily along, at what was a very slow pass. Anxiety began to fill Nafretiri. She wanted to get out of here with the girl as quick as possible, but with the way her human companion was moving, it didn't seem like that was likely. The Ancient was half tempted to levitate the girl out, but not only would that require too much concentration to make sure that the girl didn't bump into anything or that they weren't ambushed (which was unlikely), but she'd also have to erase the girl's memories and those of anyone who saw. In this area, there were bound to be plenty of homeless who may just look over and see the sight. It was more trouble than was necessary.
"That's it," she said with encouragement, showing nothing of what she felt inside. A man came out in front of them, a switchblade poised, and without even thinking, Nafretiri made the blade fly out of his hand. It was only in the split second that he stared in disbelief that she mentally reprimanded herself. Then he did charge at them, weapon or no, and Nafretiri was forced to kick him in the stomach. He exhaled with an 'oof'. Sensing his thoughts, she could tell that he was about to call for help, so deciding on the best course of action, she flipped up her knife and sent it flying into his skull.
Had a mortal tried this, it probably wouldn't have happened the same way, but her preternatural strength with her added telekensis made it possible. She only hoped the girl didn't question this either. Leaving the girl alone for a moment, she went and retrieved her blade, wiping the blood off on her cloak. It smelled mildly delicious, but now was not the time. Taking the girl, she said, "Come. We must hurry."
tsuki - September 17, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
allmost yelping in surprise as a sword came flying on her head. Falling down on her butt she made sure the woman was safe. Growling she sat the woman down and stood up. Turning she saw a man standing there another sword in hand.
Smirking she lifted her hand towards the sword that stuck into the crate. Placing her hand on the hilt she watched the man as she pulled it out in a delicate swift movement. Still watching him she got into her ready position (see a training of the sword. I think to know what im talking about), the man growling charged.
Calming herself she took a step back and used her own blade to deflect the others sword. As he lost his balance she spined the hilt in her hand so the back of the blade (none sharp side) was facing the man. As he tried to recover his footing she swung the sword in a swift movement.. His eyes widened in surprise. “But how...?” were the only thing s that escaped his lips as he fell to the ground unconscious, turning back to the girl she laughed nervously.
“Well I guess we both have some explaining to do huh?” walking back to her she kneeled back down for her to get on.
Nafretiri - September 24, 2004 03:25 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri was quite annoyed at being treated like a mere child by the mortal girl she had come to help. Why, she was over three thousand years old! The last thing that should happen would be this girl concerning herself over the safety of Nafretiri. It was proposterous! The whole idea made Nafretiri frowned. The girl had looked so helpless before. It seemed that there was a great deal more to her than she had let on. Still, the question remained: If she was so powerful, why hadn't she acted upon her father before now?
Cocking her head at the girl, Nafretiri raised an eyebrow. "It would appear so. You are far different than what I saw at the beginning. It seems that you do not need my help." This was not said with remorse or contempt, but merely as though she were stating a fact. It was, nonetheless, true. When the girl bent down to allow Nafretiri on her back, the Ancient raised an eyebrow. Giving a sigh, she proceeded right passed the girl. "Come, the exit is over here."
tsuki - September 24, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
(ack i didn't get rid of that part ? XD im so sorry i thought i did)
blinking at the woman she looked at her blankly. turning her head to the side as she walked she listend to everything that was around there area. she clutched the sword tightly in her hand as she tensed. she was a totaly different person when she had something that could be weilded as a sword. but other then that she was the carefree normal tsuki. she hated the double percenality but she lived. she had been wondering were rin was but gave it no thought. sighing she shook her head as she watched the woman ahead of her. she wanted to be friends with her, and she was very gratefull to her. but she didn't think she made the best impresion.
taking a deep breath she cought up with the woman and asked "did i do something wrong?" "or are you like drake" she mumbled the last part as a whisper barily adubile to her own ears.
Nafretiri - September 24, 2004 04:18 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri's eyes widened, and she spun around, puting her hands firmly on the girl's shoulders. Her eyes blazed. "What do you know of Drake?" she demanded. While Nafretiri had only met the vampire once, that one time had been enough. The much younger vampire had tried to kill her in a feeble attempt. Nafretiri had gotten though it without so much as a scratch thanks to her telekenisis, but it still left her to wonder what would have happened if she had not had it. She might even have suffered severely.
But this led to another question: did this girl know about vampires? If that were the case, she'd have to erase her memory. It was her duty as a member of the Amman. No mortal was to know they existed unless absolutely necessary, like in the case of Drew, the mortal she guarded from, irony of ironies, Drake. Had Drew been oblivious to this, he would have been dead by now. What was this girl's story, Nafretiri wondered, but did not ask out loud.
tsuki - September 25, 2004 12:56 AM (GMT)
blinking at her reaction she was surprised at the urgency of it. “Um I know that he’s rude, annoying umm, let see. I cant think of anything else, ok a little weird. Thinks he’s the best in the universe. “ bitting her lower lip she thought again “ow ya and he sired Rin, my sister” she said. Her eyes danced with pride at her sisters name. She loved her dearly, and nothing would change that.
Nafretiri - September 25, 2004 01:22 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri narrowed her eyes at the girl. So, she did know about vampires. How expected. This did not bode well, considering the girl obviously had ties to the vampiric race with this sister of hers. The Ancient did not know this Rin but by acquaintance, and knew that she was a young feldgeling. Perhaps that is why she had blabbed the secret out to the innocent ears of mortals. She obviously did not know what the Amman would do about it. How unwise. She would have thought that Drake at least - for he was cultured in the ways of the old world - would have told her, but that seemed not to be the case.
"You know of vampires..." stated Nafretiri, turning around and pondering what her next course of action should be. This girl was not in on Drake's vengeance. That's good. Turning back to her, Nafretiri said, "When we are out of here, I fear I will have to erase all your memories of the vampiric race. Such is my duty, and has been for many millenia. Mortals are not supposed to know of vampires. It is the unwritten code, followed by all those save the Ishak."

blinking tears sprang to her eyes at what she said "i have to have my memories erraised?" she asked her voice chooking up with emotions. would that mean she would forget everyone she knew . would she forget about her sisster, and even tynaix? (ya im changing it so this is after all that). tears began to roll down her eyes as she thouhgt of everything that would happen. were would she stay if she didn't know of them. would she go back to living with her father. grabbing her head she shook her head. no she wouldn't shed rather die then go back to him.
teasr rolling down her face she looked at the woman before her. "if you have to erace my memories then please just kill me. i dont want to live with out knowing them. i dont watn to go back to living with my father. so please if you have to erace my memoories just kill me. eracing them is like killing me. ive changed so much, and my father would." chocking on her words over the tears she shook violently "please if you must erace my memories just kill me, so i dont have to live with my father. my only home is with that of Rin or Tynaix. so please just kill me now if you have to erace my memories" with that she fell to her knees as if in a position to beg.
her hair fell over her shoulders as her body shook from her sobs. tears felll to the cold concreat floor as they rolled down. she held her self tightly as if to guard herself from what was about to happen. her bangs coverd her eyes that wer begining to turn red from crying.she looked so helpless folded over on the ground. like there was nothing keeping her up, except the sheer hope that she wouldn't get her memories erased.
Nafretiri - September 26, 2004 11:47 PM (GMT)
In all her long life, Nafretiri had never been one to cope with tears. A mortal could be raving about in a blind panic, and she would be able to handle such a situation, but tears eluded her. It was ironic that she was so ancient and had shed so many tears of her own, and yet knew nothing of how to comfort someone who was crying... or at least not mortals. She had not been human for a very long time, and they were in a sense, a mystery to her. They were no longer like her, and Nafretiri had somewhat closed herself to them.
On the other hand, she could understand where the girl came from. Nafretiri did not want to return her to her father anymore than the girl seemed to want to go. Quite a predicament. This earned an exasperated sigh from her. The girl was being overly dramatic. "I have no quarrel with you. Do not say such foolish things. Mortals always wish for death, and then when it is upon them, they take back their request. Have you not thought of other possibilities? Such as the fact that I would not turn you over to your father, but instead to another family? Or that I erase what you know, and inform this Rin and Tynaix. They could keep you, and yet you would not know what they were. Death is not the only option."
tsuki - September 28, 2004 01:51 AM (GMT)
Hearing her words she had to smile at it, soon the tears slowed. Taking her hands, she whipped away some of the tears. Looking up she smiled sadly and shook her head. It was true what she said but for Tsuki she wasn’t like that. Sure shed be scarred to die but shed welcome it, if it would mean the difference of knowing the others and what they were then not knowing at all. Her life had changed so much and she loved it too much to let it go.
“Your wrong. If death came to get me now I wouldn’t care. Sure id try to live and get away but if I didn’t know them and what they were? It wouldn’t be the same. So I would let death take me. And yes I had thought of other possibility but I didn’t like any of them. And I have no family but Rin and Tynaix. They are my family and forever more shall they be my family.
I don’t know ...... I .I guess I just couldn’t stand not knowing something, if they were hiding something from me id try to find it out. I would try to help them through whatever it is that they needed to do. I mean isn’t there someone who wants to help you or someone you would want to help no matter what, even if you or they had to die for you? I would die for Rin and Tynaix, hell even any of the other vampires I have meet and be-friend I would die for them.
You probably think im crazy for even saying these things. Probably thinking ‘why would a mere mortal wish to help or eve associate with vampires’ well here’s my answer to you. They have become my family. And no matter what happens they will always be. But still I would want to know what they were so I could help them whenever I could”
tears springing to her eyes again she shook her head and bowed her head and in a sad voice she said “please don’t erase my memories, if you must then kill me I will not run or do anything to stop you. And if you kill me tell Rin and Tynaix I love them dearly. So whatever you choose I am ready.” with that she closed her eyes and waited for what ever would happen. But thoughts raced through her mind but the one that was the most thought of was ‘I love them both, now and forever’.
Nafretiri - September 28, 2004 03:25 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri threw up her hands with a sigh. She could not erase the memories of this girl with a clear conscious. The girl had already claimed that she'd rather die than not be with Rin and Tynaix, and Nafretiri did not feel like killing her for the sake of it. It was more trouble than it was worth. If any other Amman member wished to erase her memory, let them do it. There would be no blood upon her hands this night, not if she had anything to say about it.
"I won't kill you child," said Nafretiri finally, rubbing her temples. "Let us get you back to your vampire caretakers." The woman looked up with a grave expression. "But if you tell mortals that vampires exist, you will see just how angry I can become. Mark my words." She turned. "Now, let us leave this rat infested place. I grow weary of it."
tsuki - September 28, 2004 03:41 AM (GMT)
blinking tsuki looked up and smiled and nodded her head vigorously. “Don’t worry I haven’t told anyone before and I wont. You can count on me. By they way my names Tsuki.” she said her voice full of excitement at not having her memory erased.
(I hate writers block)
