Yawning tsuki walked through the street,looking up into the night sky she smirked as she sidestepped into a near by ally. walking through the ally she ignored some rats that scurried before her. Behind her was a black cat with blue rain eye. As it looked around its eyes glowed in the dark ally. Stopping Tsuki turned and kneeled down holding out her arm for Amaya to climb up.

AS Amaya looked up at her mistress she gave off a soft mew, then with cat like reflexes she jumped to her shoulder. sitting atop Tsuki’s shoulder she looked very pleased with herself.

Watching Amaya, tsuki couldn’t help but chuckle at her cats antics. Turning Tsuki continued to walk through the ally. Stepping out of the ally she continued walking until she came up to 'kings brewery: tavern and inn'. sighing tsuki stepped in and was assaulted by the smell of beer.

Sighing again she shook it off and walked into the back corner. sitting down she ordered a bottle of saki, and a bowl of milk(I love saki X3). thanking the waitress for the bowl of milk and saki. Tsuki started to drink the bottle of saki waiting for anything interesting to happen.

There came a sudden crash from the kitchen and two men stumbled out of the swinging door. They watched it in silent horror, swinging slowly back in forth. From the other side Rin pushed it tenderly and walked out, her pale blue eyes boring down on the two men. 'You know too much for what you are ...' she whispered so soft and sweetly you could have sworn she couldn't do what she was about to do.

She drew a gun from her holster on her thigh and since there where so few patrons within the tavern she shot the two men between the eyes. She looked up quietly to the others making sure none left her sight or else be shot.

Tsuki had been drinking some saki as a crash was heard from the kitchen. Her head snapping up she saw two men tossed out of the kitchen. looking towards the swinging doors she saw a woman step out. When she drew the gun out her eyes had gone wide in horror.

Blinking she scrunched up her nose in disgusted, the sent of blood was disgusting to her. looking around she couldn’t find Amaya anywhere. her head turned from one corner to the next. her face showed she was frantic.

Rin watched the mortal girl quietly a vicious smirk playing on her full lips. She looked around at the other two and shot them dead center. She admired her handy work and approached the girl slowly. There was a pause ... a memory entering her mind at the mere sight of her and Rin shook it from her head. No witnesses, she thought, for all I could know they could have said something ... she could have guessed it ... and I can't have the rest of the mortal population finding out.

She raised her gun slowly, the silver shimmered in the dim lighting. She rested her hand on the trigger and pulled. Click ... that was it ... she was out. She snarled in anger and looked at the gun. She looked to the girl and waved the gun in front of the girls face. 'Your lucky ...' she said softly. 'far too lucky.'

her head turning she saw the woman shoot everyone else. then the women sight turned on to her. watching as she approached she eyed the gun as it glinted with the reflection of some candles. As the woman raised the gun to shoot her Tsuki had shut her eyes ready for the death. Before the woman had pulled the trigger Amaya had jumped infront of Tsuki hissing at the woman. Tsuki’s eyes snapped open in horror, in a quick movement she had Amaya cradled in her arms. then she heard a soft click..click.

Shaking slightly she looked up to hear the woman say she was lucky very lucky. sighing she slacked into the chair sightly. looking up at the woman then to her cat she glared at the cat. holding Amaya from under the arms she said in a stern voice. "you had me worried. I couldn’t find you anywhere." Amaya mewed in forgiveness. sighing a gentle kind smile spread across her face. holding Amaya close she said. "its ok I forgive you, just don’t do it again, k?"Amaya nodded.

Nodding Tsuki turned to the woman standing before her that looked angry. blinking tsuki asked "did I do something wrong? or should I not be here?" she asked very confused as the gun was still pointing at her.

Rin looked at the girl and her cat now, her mind a buzz with what she should do. Maybe she doesn't know ... maybe I won't have to kill her, she thought her expression never wavering. She looked around but only quickly, their was so much trouble in protecting a secret. She looked back at the girl, 'Tell me before I decide to find different means of delivering you death ... have you heard anything tonight ... anything from these of which I have slaughtered? Anything odd?'

She watched the girl with an unnerving gaze, her eyes so icily pale. She wanted nothing to distract her as she watched to make sure there passed no lie from the girl's lips.

blinking in confusion tsuki said "let me think" with that she closed her eyes in concentration. "um, I think. I think they were talking about shadows, or something. blood thirsty bats?" opening her eyes she was confused even more. "well there’s lots of shadows around the town, like alleys and places. and I have bats in my attic at my home, but that’s normal. right?" she looked up at the woman her eyes full of questions.

blinking she chucked softly "im sorry , it must be rude of me. My names Tsuki." then looking down at her cat she said "and this is Amaya, my best friend." chuckling even more her kind smile turned sad. "you probably think im weird making friends with an animal, the house cat no less. but I don’t think it is. if they have a mind, and can respond and make there own choices then there as good as any human to me." blinking away on coming tears, she smiled warmly at the woman.

Amaya sat in her mistresses lap, then looking up to the dead woman she stared into the women eyes. as if saying 'I know what you are and hell will have no rath if you touch my mistress'. with that she flicked her tail and looked back up to her mistress

Rin sighed, the girl had heard something of it ... but not enough to know what it all meant. She watched the girl tear up and slowly put away her gun. 'call me Liz ...' She was afraid to give the girl her first name, for fear she would have to put a bullet through that forehead. She looked at the cat curiously. 'I don't think it's strange ... as a matter of fact ... I know exactly how it is.'

She sighed softly and placed a hand to her head, the smell of blood filling her nostrils, it was so seducing. She furrowed her brow looked around. 'Uhm ... the cops will be here soon ... and I don't want to be around when that happens.'

blinking tsuki smiled happy at the woman. feeling pressure on her head she looked up at the woman warmly again. Tsuki could be such a little kid sometimes. hearing her comment about the cops tsuki stood up.

"don’t worry about that Liz. I can handle it. ill take the blame for ya if ya want. or you can just leave and me and Amaya will say we came in and saw them already dead. which one should we do?" Tsuki asked her smile kind and truth showed in her eyes, showing she wasn’t lying and she really would do it

Amaya looked at the woman and nodded her head in approval, that’s what her mistress needed to hear. Mewing Amaya jumped onto the table and looked at the door.

Rin looked to the girl in amazement and smiled. Wow, she mused, Thats different. She shook her head, 'theres no need ... go to the nearest pay phone ... call the police and say you heard gunshots. I'll be gone and we'll both be safe.' She petted the cat lightly on the head, 'I'll make sure everything goes ok ... from a safe distance ... and if it don't I'll help you out.'

She smiled lightly as she pulled her coat around her and walked out, as soon as the door closed she went into the alley and jumped to the roof waiting ... watching.

nodding, tsuki watched Liz walk out of the tavern. she waited a of harms way. then stepping out she ran to the nearest pay phone. stopping just outside the payphone she reached into her pocket and pulled out her cell phone. calling 911, as someone picked up she got teary eyed and her lower lip trembled.

'911, emergency call, how may I help you?' asked a voice.

taking a deep breath tsuki started to cry "im so scared I was heading towards 'kings brewery' the tavern and inn. and I heard gun shots. and when I entered the tavern to see if everyone was all right ~sniff, sniff~ Waaaaaaaaaaa. everyone was dead! im so scared, I didn’t know what to do1 so I ran outside and called you, because I was scared and didn’t know what to do!" she said, a smirk playing on her lips, the crying sounded so real, yet there were no tears or sadness in her eyes.

nodding tsuki hung up. then looking down to Amaya tsuki said "there be here within 10 minutes. I have to admit im getting pretty good about the whole acting thing." then looking up to the sky she said "I hope Liz got away”. With that she turned and walked near the tavern, but not too close. Fidgeting slightly, to appear she was scared to go near.

Rin surpressed a laugh as she watched the girl with bright eyes. 'Good jub kid.' she mumbled softly. She drummed her fingers boredly on the edge and sighed softly. Why am I waiting? The girl can handle herself. Her mind raced as she watched the streets waiting for the blasted police.

Sirens sounded just down the streets and she ducked into the shadows, she watched as a few cop cars, amblances and a fire truck stopped in the middle of the street. A few cops got out and went up to Tsuki. 'is this the place?' Before she could reply a few others threw open the door, guns pointed. The one cop continued to ask questions. 'Did you see who did it? Can you give us a detailed description? If there are any other details you can give us please do.'

Rin watched the cops with loathing, she fought the urge to try and shoot them with her unloaded gun. She watched as the cops went in and let the parametics come in aswell and take the bodies.

Drake walked into the tavern to find it crawling with cops. Perfect. he thought Some idiot went cowboy on all of them. Snarling sloftly in the low lit room Drake moved past a cop and looked at one of the bodies. He had been shot between the eyes. It seemed all too familiar...

Tsuki was still fidgeting as the cops came, then as they started asking the questions tears started to fall down her face, glaring up at the cop she started to yell "does it look I saw who did it, don’t you guys read the stupid phone reports! I already said I heard gunshots and I came, then walking in I SEE DEAD PEOPLE SCATTERED ON THE GROUND!"

blinking away the oncoming tears she looked towards an ally, that was right beside the tavern, then pointed "if you want any detail I saw some shadow with a huge gun about this big," as she opens her arms out real wide then continues" I saw them go down there as I rounded the corner from the way I was coming" her voice still sounding as if she was scared.

Sometime earlier she saw out of the corner of her eye she saw a man enter the tavern and not come out, she shrugged it off. "I think I’ve had enough of seeing dead people today, if you don’t mind id like to go home." she said in a more tired and scared tone. ' the beautiful of acting' she thought to herself

Drake made his way outside and was standing behind the cops when some girl demanded to be let go. A suspect? No she wasnt cuffed. A whitness. Drake smiled and lit a cigarette. He would have to have a chat with that one...

the officers were a little surprised at her response but sent someone in the direction that she said, and let her go. Turning back to the sean of the crime the officers continued the inspection.

smiling kindly tsuki said thanks, as she walked past the cops a playful smirk spread across her lips, as if say 'I-fooled-you-and-you-don’t-know'. with that she ran across the street and stopped and walked into the ally, Amaya hot on her heals.

Rin watched the girl leave and desended from the roof top. She looked at the crime scene with pretend curiousity and went up to someone in the crowd around the door. 'What happened?' The man turned and looked at her. 'A few people got shot ... some think it was a robbery but no money was taken.' Rin gave a thoughtful hmmm in reply.

She spotted Drake but chose to keep to herself knowing he would have something to say that would ruin it all. She kept her eyes on him occaisionally looking at the goings on around them.

Drake moved with supernatural speed and just as the girl was out of sight around a corner, Drake caught her. He grabbed her by the arm and spun her around. With his left hand he grabbed her by the neck and pushed against the wall. His right drew his kukri and he smiled. "Now lets talk about what you really saw..."

Rin watched him and followed, hiding nearby, watching the two. If Drake was to try and hurt her Rin would move in. She knew the girl would probably mention Liz as her name, and Drake, she knew wouldn't link it back. She pulled a knife from her pocket, it wouldn't kill him if he tried anything but the way she would put it in would certainly slow him down.

as tsuki turned a corner she felt a strong hand grab her by the arm and spin her around, looking up slightly dizzy she saw a man standing there. eyes going wide as his other hand grabbed her throat and pushed her against the wall she winced slightly as her head hit the brick wall. hearing his words she snapped her eyes open again, spotting the dagger/knife (it’s a dagger right?) she just stared.

blinking she shook her head and turned back towards the man and said "I told them what I saw, I was telling the truth.i saw someone come out of the tavern and they dissapered into the ally." trailing off, as she looked into the mans eyes. Her own starting to brim with tears..

Drake snarled and picked her up off her feet. Her back slid against the wall and Drake knew that the rough brick couldnt feel too good. He just didnt care. "And where did they go girl? Im in no mood for your petty lies so speak true and quick. If you dont..." He lifted the kukri, its razor edge gleeming evily in the single street lamp. Some things didnt need to be said...

Rin closed her eyes as she listened to this. She moved from her hiding place slowly and looked to him. She came up to him slowly, her eyes narrowed but she kept what words she wanted to say behind her lips. She knew he could easily hurt her, as well as the girl.

'Let the girl down Drake ... she speaks the thruth ... Though she might not for long if you say or do much more.' She looked up to Tsuki, knowing why she didn't want to kill her. Seeing this it reminded her of when she was first bitten. She paused and looked back to him. 'Drake ...'

Drake tossed the girl behind him and turned to face the new vampire "So taking up for mortals again are you? Give me one good reason why I shouldnt spill your guts out right here and let you try to gather them up before dawn." He looked to the knife in her hand and tightened his grip on the kukri "So you want to dance do you?" He drew three throwing knives and held them between his fingers like claws on his left hand. "Well?"

Her eyes narrowed. 'Thats alright ...' She paused and tilted her head to the side. 'You know ... Drake ... I'm curious ... how come you bit me ... you know if you planned on hating me as much as you do? You said I could help with Gabriel and all ... but yet ...' She turned then paused and looked at him over her shoulder. 'I have many friends Drake ... you spill anything of mine ... and you'll be looking for your head in the cities dumpsters.' She paused. 'I'm still willing to help ... but only because your my Sire and the fact that Nyx has agreed to this deal.'

As tsuki was lifted above and against the wall she winced as the brick cut against her arms. looking behind him she saw Liz. she wanted to call out but didn’t. Her eyes going wide as she was tossed away like a rag doll. Hitting the ground she yelled out in pain as she skidded across the cement. sitting up she whimpered and held her arm tightly s it was bleeding. looking up she heard there conversation but was confused by it.

she decided to stay quiet but the pain was getting to her. feeling a tung against her arm she winced and looked down to see Amaya trying to clean her arm. smiling kindly down her at her friend she looked back up at the two.

Drake chuckled "Your friends are of little concern me." He moved up behind her "Careful who you threaten my dear. I still know some from the old world." He started to walk past her then turned "If you want to help offer your help to Gabriel. When we attack turn on him. That will be the greatest help..."

Rin glared down at the ground as she listened to him, 'I will ... but only if you teach me ... there is little I know ... I could learn on my own ... But that will be slow and I could do much better things with my time.' She turned to him, 'If you think I am so childish then at least try and educate me, perhaps then I won't seem so immature to you.' Rin looked at him quietly, then turned and looked at Tsuki. She wanted to wait before going to help her.

looking at Liz she had a very confused look upon her face. standing up on shaky legs she looked from one to the other and then said "ummm if you need somewhere to train I might know of a place for you to train?" then looking down at Amaya she said "isnt that right Amaya?" the cat only meowed in response.

then Amaya turned to both of the dead walkers and watched for there response. she didn’t like either of them, the girl was ok but the man. he had hurt her mistress.

Rin put a finger to her lips as she watched the girl, her eyes glimmering in the darkness. 'It's sweet of you dear but it's best you sit ... and be safe.' She paused and turned to Drake a brow quirked. 'What do you say?'

sighing tsuki looked at the ground and said in a low whisper "like im ever safe when he’s around, im never safe unless im out of the house." tears brimmed at her eyes but she blinked them back. her life was a night mare at home, no mother, a drugy and alcoholic father. the quirks of living here. smirking in malice she looked up to the sky, she looked evil as she stood there. her long black hair hanging down her back as the wind softly picked up and blew it around her slender frame, and that smirk that made her look evil.

she didn’t care if what she looked like was evil right now , she didn’t even know that’s how she looked. she just looked like she did. Amaya stood by her side her blue rain eyes glinting dangerously in the dark.

Drake looked over at the mortal and raised a single eyebrow "Are you sure she is sane...."

blinking tsuki turned to the man and smirked, she looked normal now, shrugging tsuki said "i dont know. sometimes i am sometimes im not. it depends on the day.. or night"

Rin shrugged slightly fighting back a snide remark, 'does it really matter ...' She looked at him over her shoulder, 'so I'm guessing we have a deal?'

Drake looked at the mortal "Can I eat her?" Not waiting for a respose he turned to Rin. "What do you want to know?"

Rin growled slightly and sighed. 'I asked you if I helped with Gabriel would you teach me ... I don't want to learn on my own Drake and you said you would ...'

Drake lost all sense of humor he had "And I asked you what you wanted to know. I dont offer things for free, but you are going to help me remove a very large thorn from my side. So I ask you child what do you want to know?"

Rin paused taking this into deep consideration, 'I want to learn how to harness my abilities ... to perfect them ...' She paused and looked to Tsuki out of the corner of her eyes not wanting to name specific's while she was around. She looked to Drake, 'I don't want to be here years from now and still not know how to do what the younger ones learn in only a few weeks.'

blinking tsuki smiled at Liz as she looked at her from the corner of her eye. she was still confused about what was going on but stayed to listen, its not like she wanted to go home. anything but that. looking down at Amaya she smiled and said "your probably hungry now huh? you can go hunt if ya want." with a soft meow Amaya ran off into the darkness.
