The Laws of the Tarepha
Your previous leader, one Nyx, has been terminated by I, one Euthalia Akakios. I put forth this document to declare that I have assumed the position, and will be acting as the authoritative figure in this coven until such a time as I retire, or am most unfortunately killed. I have reviewed the previous laws, and have found some discrepancy in them with regards to my own feelings upon the matter. It is thus with great consideration that I inscribe here the new laws for a most propitious future.
Everything that follows is to be held by law by all those seeking to remain in the club. They are to be respected as if they were from my very lips. Any disobedience will be punished, with its severity being left up to my judgement.
The laws are thus:
One – That I, Euthalia Akakios, must have your obedience. If you have a problem you wish to rectify or bring to my attention, do so in a courteous manner befitting people of intelligence, instead of the brutality and vulgarity befitting little more than pathetic animals.
Two – That you shall not unduly kill and or quarrel with any fellow coven member. We are few, and until this point, we have been, in effect, leaderless. I will not allow stupidity to mar what should be a unified nation. If unsure of what course to take, approach me, and we will find a suitable resolution.
Three – With that being said, I am not to be bothered with every cut and scrape you receive at the hands of another. Many of you are older than our mortal counterparts. Act your age.
Four – Any feeding to be done in the club must be done away from witnesses. It provides us with a viable front to the world, and I would not want it jeopardized.
Five – Should complications ensue with any member of any other coven – especially the Amman – I shall require that you all report directly to me to state the cause, the circumstances.
Six – I reserve the right to deny you entrance into the Tarepha. I also reserve the right to demand you leave it, should you disobey.
Seven – Rebellion will not be tolerated. Any member planning anything mutinous will be subject to the most horrifying punishments my mind can devise.
