Title: Losing Everything
Description: Insanity

Gabriel - July 8, 2004 04:05 AM (GMT)
Gabriel sat in his normal spot. In his hands lay his most valuable item. A violin hand carved from an Oak tree when he was only 13. In his lap lay a baby black lab and at his feet lay his violin's case. A few dollars lay in the case as he sat there playing as he always did at this time of the day.

A large man walked by. "Your here again you fool. Why don't you go get a real job." The lab growled at the man who was talking to it's master. The man spit on the dog laughing. "You know what boy I'll teach you to live like this." He grabbed the violin quickly breaking it.

Gabriel's eyes openned in horror...the only thing he had left was gone...How could this man do this to him. His limit had been reached he quickly shot his hands up at the man who was laughing breaking the man's voice box as he put so much preasure on the man's neck. "You idoit I'll kill you! I hope you have fun in hell you bastard!"

Nafretiri - July 8, 2004 04:36 AM (GMT)
Nafretiri's tall heels clicked on the cement stairs as she descended into the damp underground. She could feel the air gain more humidity and get colder with every step she took. The bottoms of her beige pants had gotten dirty in the virtual grime of the subway stairs, but she took no notice of this fact. A slight frown marred her face, trying to keep the pain in her mind from the observations of inquisitive eyes.

A terrible ache ran through her head once more, like shards of glass being thrown into her skull and ripping apart her head. The woman knew this feeling, and she knew it well. It was the feeling of complete rage; a rage so absolute that all it caused was destruction. How did she know? That was a long story.

People were gathered around a scene playing out. Some where screaming, some stood in fear, others were fleeing the scene. With keen ears, Nafretiri heard sirens approaching. Five, ten minutes at the most.

She pushed through the crowd in an attempt to see what was happening first hand. She'd already gathered individual's accounts, but they were contaminated by the person's own views on the matter. One thing she didn't need her eyes to tell her was that she recognized the vampire in the middle of the scene, and hoped he hadn't done anything too foolish.

His thoughts rammed into her mind, making her stop dead in her tracks for a moment, black spots dancing in her view. Through the chaotic mess that was Gabriel's mind at the moment, she deciphered what had happened, and slowly moved forward, hoping to neither alarm Gabriel or gain his full anger directed at her. None of the two choices was desirable.

"Gabriel?" Nafretiri inquired, moving forward, her hand out in front of her trying to calm the angry vampire in front of her. "Gabriel, put him down. You're making a scene. Don't do this here. If it is vengeance you seek, do it where there aren't quite so many people." There was a hint of threat in her voice, and the last part was spoken too silently for the mortals around to hear. "The police are coming. I can not let you endanger what I have worked for. Put him down, and this can still be remedied. Revenge can be sought another time."

Gabriel - July 8, 2004 04:43 AM (GMT)
"Oh I'll put him down. Six feet down that is! He's going to die! I'm going to kill him right now. No waiting! He deserves to die! He deserves to burn in hell for all time." Gabriel's voice was hot with rage as he started to lift the man from the ground.

"How does it feel! You ruined my life so now I shall end yours! You don't deserve mercy nor pity. You've done to much in your damn life to be forgiven. In the name of god I damn you to hell for eternity. My the devil have mercy on your soul you pathitic man!"

He slammed the man into a wall cracking bones as he did. He didn't care anymore. He wouldn't stand this any longer. He had been pushed around to long and now he would stand up for himself even if it ment killing ever damned mortal in this place he would make them pay!

He knew their sins. He read their minds daily. This one was cheating on there husband that one stole from there perants. It was over for them all. None shall live this not even himself.

"Nafretiri back off! I don't want to drag you into this but I'm killing him. Not you not anyone is going to stop me. After I kill him feel free to kill me but this one is dying and he's dying now!"

Nafretiri - July 8, 2004 05:00 AM (GMT)
The frown on Nafretiri's face grew, lines of frustration setting into her face. Abandoning the demeanor she had been using, she marched right up to him, her leather boots clicking angrily on the floor. Only stopping when she was right next to him, she raised her head as high as she could and narrowed her eyes at him. He probably didn't even care where she was at this point, but she had to try or this was going to get very messy. There were already mortals who had fled the scene.

This was turning into a nightmare.

"I will not back off," whispered Nafretiri hotly, accentuating the word 'not'. "You are furious, and want revenge. I understand this, better than you know, but you are making a scene. How dare you let yourself loose control in this place! You have been seen, by people I may never find again! You are risking all of our kind for your revenge! It is foolishness!"

She swatted a piece of hair out her face angrily, glaring at the only real part of Gabriel's face she could see: the side. Crouching down, she picked up the remains of his broken violin. "Is this what you're so angry about? That he broke your violin? It can be repaired! Maybe not as it was, but I assure you, I have the connections to see that it is usable again.

"I told you once that I do not kill on angry whims. I did not lie at that point, but you are treading on thin ground. I wish not to kill you, and only for the secrecy to be maintained. Give him up now, and pursue him at a later date. If you do not give up this kamakaze mission, you will be putting more than yourself at risk."

Gabriel - July 8, 2004 05:08 AM (GMT)
"Nafretiri I can kill him without letting anyone know. I havn't used anything strange and I don't plan on it. Everyone will think I was just some psycho who decided to kill this man." He dropped the man on the ground making a loud thud.

He turned and whistled quietly his dog running to him. "This man deserves death. I know it aswell as you should. I will respect your wishes though and take my leave. It would put my dog in danger if the police arrive and I wouldn't stand for it so we may live for now."

He then glared at the man before walking over and picking up his voilin case. "I will rely on death to kill him though. I have made him mute which is enough for me. Now if you don't mind I have some killing to take care of." He was talking about himself but didn't let on to that. "Please take care of my voilin. I trust you won't let it be thrown away."

He walked towards a train jumping down onto the rails and up the otherside. "Plus don't worry about the ones who ran. No one saw anything that would do anything but make them think it's dangerous to ride the subway. Not even that man at your feet."

Nafretiri - July 8, 2004 05:17 AM (GMT)
"Yes, because picking up a man and squeezing with enough force for his voice box to break is certainly normal," commented Nafretiri sarcastically, placing her hands on her hips, violin pieces still in her grasp. "Besides," she muttered more quietly to herself, "I never said you couldn't kill him." She let out an annoyed sigh and turned to the crowd. "And not for the first time, I find myself with damage control."

Carefully picking through the crowd, she slowly altered everyone's mind. Soon, they just thought the man had been mugged and hurt. Well, everyone save the 'victim'. He still had full memory, though both Gabriel and her own faces had been blurred.

"I trust you will not do that again," she whispered to him. "It was very naughty, and very idiotic indeed."

Picking up Gabriel's violin case and putting the remains of the violin inside, she slowly disappeared into the darkness as the police arrived.

Gabriel - July 8, 2004 05:26 AM (GMT)
He whispered to himself as she left. "Ah but I won't be alive to kill him." He picked up his dog smiling. "Brandy be a good girl and stay right here. If some one comes to take you home go with them. I have to go on a trip and I won't be back for a long time ok?"

He smiled setting her down slowly. He looked at her one last time before walking into the shadows. He would wait there until dawn and then he would exit through one of the closed places so no one would see him turn to dust.

Yes he had it all planned out even before Nafretiri had come along. She had only stopped him from killing the man. He looked at the ceiling calmly knowing he had awhile before dawn but he didn't want to move at all cause then it would cause Brandy to come closer and he didn't want her to see him die.

He looked at the dog...He had been wrong that was his most valuable item. He went over picking her up slowly. "Ok Lets just go home Brandy. I'll get revenge on that mean old man tomorrow."
