Okay... I know it was one of those "Late Night I'm half delirious thoughts" but I was thinking...

What would y'all think of a Terminator-esque Role Play?

I'm thinking set maybe.... 15 or so years after John Connor and his wife are dead, maybe about 50 years after the newest movie. The attack on Skynet that almost ended his life (in the newest movie) ended up only delaying them as the system had planned for such a situation and had set a back up that was only hibernating. The Human Rebellion, thinking they've won, is starting to rebuild. The different factions of humans are fighting with each other and only making them weaker, and they were unprepared when the new SkyNet reviled itself.

Now, SkyNet has had 5 years to build up it's resources and intelligence of the new humans and attacks are happening more and more frequently. But the new generation of humans that's coming to be in charge doesn't really remember the first wars, and their pettiness has them at each others throats rather than unifying against the threat to all humanity that is beginning to brew.



So? What ya think?

I like the idea, but I do have one quick question. How would vampires fit into all this, because well yes there are mortals on this website, but this site is "an advanced vampire RPG". Just thought I'd ask...

Hah, no no vampires :-P Just a random idea I had and just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy or anything. Oh, crap... Thought I posted this in the OOC section... Shows how out of it I was at the time *rolls eyes*

Since we have an Ad board now, and I'm also an active member, I don't see how it's a problem for me to throw an idea out for a board I had. It's not like it would be competing with vital or anythign *shrugs*
