Title: The Night
Description: Open
CallMeSensei - May 1, 2009 12:37 AM (GMT)
The night was beautiful. The sky was clear letting the moon and stars shine down on the city. James reflected that it was a perfect night for hunting. He moved quietly, his hands jammed into his sweatshirt pockets. To all that glanced at him, he looked like your normal run-of-the-mill emo/goth punk, all black. His skin was pale enough, and he definitely looked the part. Black leather bracelets, black shirt, pants, yeah he could easily be the poster boy for Goths. One of the differences between him and other goths was that he was much older than he looked, and had a small silver cross dangling at his neck. Most of his coven cowered from religious symbols, but he could touch the cross to his skin and not be burned. He could probably even do the same with holy water, but he didn't feel like testing that out.
With practiced ease, James reached out with his mind and searched for his prey. True he believed in chivalry and all that jazz, but his thirst took some precedence. Of all the years he'd been a vampire, James had never killed a woman. He had always stopped himself, and even made sure to nurse them back to health. James was looking for a girl who he was following, and was waiting for the time to strike. The park was relatively empty at night, but he needed to make sure there wasn't anyone who'd stumble upon him. It took a lot of control to keep himself from catching up to the girl, he needed to drink soon, but he wasn't that much of a savage.
Silver Wolf19 - May 1, 2009 01:02 AM (GMT)
So what if Edmund had other things to do besides hang around with her all night. He was a man, he had his own life and she knew that. She couldn't expect him to be there every minute of every day now could she? Of course not.
Why then did she feel so upset that he'd told her not to come over because he had some friends over? She should be glad really, because not all of his friends were as gentle and nice as he was. They wouldn't care about her condition.
He cared about her, it was the only reason why she was told not to visit tonight.
But that still didn't mean she liked it.
With a sigh she kicked at a stone on the grass. It fell into the little pond with a plop as she looked at the water. It was unusually warm tonight, well at least for the time of year. Looking at her watch she frowned. Almost midnight... She should probably head home before her parents freaked or anything...
Not that she really cared, but they might call the 'Councelors' again to get her back into their 'intervention program'. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck with Dmitri and his 'friends' for another week of deprivation from everything she enjoyed.
Grumbling under her breath she started her way back to the path, knowing she was in for a sleepless night.
CallMeSensei - May 1, 2009 01:33 AM (GMT)
James followed the girl to the small pond, and made sure that no one else was around. He was hidden in the shadow of a tree watching as the girl kicked a pebble into the pond. He caught little thoughts here and there, but nothing solid. He was still relatively young compared to others of his kind, and he hadn't developed in that area yet.
As he watched her, he struck quickly, dashing out of the shadows before she had a chance to react. He didn't hit her hard, just enough to disorient her, especially with his strength. Wrapping his arms around her, holding tight to her arms, James sunk his fangs into her neck, and drank from her without making a sound. It was an easy hunt, knock her out, and drink his fill, then heal her. Then he sensed that there was something was off. There was a quality to her blood that told him that there was something really wrong. He couldn't really place it, but he knew something was off.
Silver Wolf19 - May 1, 2009 01:52 AM (GMT)
She thought she heard a noise, but before she could turn around something hit her hard.
A few seconds later when she regained her wits she felt something wonderfully familiar. A soft moan of pleasure escaped her as her body stopped fighting and she relaxed into the vampire who had her in his clutches.
"Yeah..." She whispered softly, her eyes closing as she smiled. "Just... Just be careful..." Alison murmured. She wanted more... She wanted him to take her just like Edmund would as he fed. She craved him... Wanted to touch him and kiss him... Taste her blood on his lips.
She wanted to tell him that if he stopped now, she would give him more. She would give him anything...
But it felt so good all she could do was moan with pleasure as his fangs sank in deeper.
CallMeSensei - May 1, 2009 02:07 AM (GMT)
James drank deeply from the girl, and was surprised as she told him to be careful. The pleasure wasn't a surprise at all, but he didn't expect that. So she had been around vampires before, that made it somewhat easier for him.
She wasn't the most attractive girl ever, but he found her at least mildly attractive, and her blood tasted very good, though he still tasted that offness that he couldn't quite place. James let out a sigh as he had just enough to quench his thirst. Licking the blood from his lips, James held the girl in case she decided to collapse on him. With the amount blood he drank, he wouldn't be surprised if she did, and then he noticed that the blood wasn't slowing as it usually did. Then he remembered reading a medical article about a blood condition, anemia.
James realized he made a wrong move, and quickly healed the bite marks his fangs left. "Are you alright?" He asked afraid that if he let her go that she'd collapse, and do more harm to herself.
Silver Wolf19 - May 1, 2009 02:12 AM (GMT)
He had let her go all too soon for her liking. More... She wanted more...
"No.. Don't stop..." Alison murmured, lower than a whisper. But he'd let her go and she could feel the blood tricking down her neck. She pulled away, reaching at her bag to find her glue, but a wave of dizziness struck her. As she stepped forward she collapsed, her eyes dull and unfocused as she lay in his arms.
She couldn't focus on his words though, she couldn't understand what he was saying.
Closing her eyes she slipped into unconsciousness. She was so tired... So tired and weak...
CallMeSensei - May 1, 2009 02:33 AM (GMT)
James knew it was time to stop. She wasn't exactly in the best shape, and he didn't want to hurt her more than necessary. He watched as she reached for her bag, and then collapsed. He caught her in his arms easily, and he worked quickly healing her injuries.
By the time he finished she was unconscious, and James knew that he couldn't just leave her out there alone. He wasn't going to look through her bag for information on her, but he knew that someone would miss her. He'd just make sure she was alright and then send her on her way in the morning. His place was always clean, but he didn't have the supplies to treat her, he could guess at her blood type, but he didn't want to risk it, plus it'd look somewhat weird if he came waltzing in at midnight looking for some blood.
With a sigh James picked the girl up effortlessly and started walking back to his apartment. It was only a ten minute walk from the park, and relatively small. After a few minutes they were back at his place. The good thing about it was that his apartment only had one window, which was completely blocked from sun, and there wasn't anyone who really paid attention to what was going on. The apartment was immaculate, his clothes folded nicely and put away in drawers, everything was organized, even his collection of books, mostly mysteries like Sherlock Holmes.
It wasn't exactly chivalrous, but he stripped the girl out of her shirt and pants so he could wash them for her. After tucking her into bed, and making sure she didn't need any medical aid he couldn't give her, James worked on washing her clothes, and afterwards folded them neatly on a chair near the bed. Then he grabbed himself a blanket, and decided to sleep on the couch. He'd ask her questions when she woke up.
Silver Wolf19 - May 1, 2009 03:01 AM (GMT)
When she woke up on a decent sized bed, curled up under blankets in an over-sized shirt that smelled absolutely divine, she knew she wasn't at home. Everything from the night before came rushing back to her and she knew several things that had happened while she was asleep.
First off, it was day, or so the little crack of light that came through a thick curtain told her.
Secondly, the vampire who had attacked her hadn't ever intended to kill her as he'd cared for her while she was out.
Thirdly, her parents were probably wondering what happened to her.
A check on her cellphone confirmed the first and third things she knew. It was just after ten Saturday morning, and she had twelve missed calls. All from her parents. She didn't hear anyone moving so she decided to call her parents first. She was hard pressed to convince her parents that she was alright and they hardly bought the story that she was over at a friend's house and had just made a last minute decision to stay the night.
But they believed it, telling her to call before she left her friends house. She said she would and then hung up, wanting to find her... Attacker? Rescuer? Mystery man?
Well she'd have to wait to find out what he was, as the vampire, a young man or boy just about her age. But he looked nothing like the guys at her school... He was so beautiful... His skin was pale and smooth, like marble... He looked so delicate though, laying curled up in a blanket on the couch. He would probably be asleep all day though, and she decided to hang out.., Get to know him a bit.
Her fingers ran through his short black hair, down his cheek. Gently she pulled the blanket away, still careful not to wake him, and looked at him. No wonder why she'd liked the way he held her. He was so big, well bigger than her anyway. His arms were muscled, his body toned... She wanted to curl up in those arms, wanted to feel them hold her close.
She was so mesmerized by him that she didn't even notice him beginning to stir...
CallMeSensei - May 1, 2009 09:42 PM (GMT)
James slept soundly on the couch, and he was dreaming of his days on his family's farm working with his father, and making a living where they could. He slept just like a normal human, another quirk that put him apart from his coven, but then again a couple of them could too.
As the girl ran her fingers through his hair, he groaned and in his dream his mother was ruffling his hair and smiling at him before saying something that he couldn't quite hear. Then he slowly willed himself out of his dreams, there was no reason to dwell on the past, he knew that, yet his dreams always brought him back to the happier days of his immortal and mortal life.
His eyes fluttered open, and he found that the blanket was pulled down a little bit revealing his upper body. Then he looked up at the girl as she was examining him, and he quickly pulled the blanket over his body. All he was wearing underneath the blanket was a pair of boxers. "Good morning." He said evenly. He thanked the Lord that he couldn't blush, otherwise it would've been written all over his face that he was embarrassed. He wasn't exactly on the up and up when it came to women. Sure he'd met a lot of them, been attracted to them too, but never really met one who was as interested in him as the girl here. "I'm sorry about last night." He said with a slight smile.
Silver Wolf19 - May 1, 2009 11:17 PM (GMT)
"Sorry? About what?" She asked with a shrug, seemingly not ashamed at all that she'd been spying on him. And well... She wasn't.
"It could have ended a lot worse than it did, love." She said, using the endearment she'd picked up from Edmund. "You didn't know I had a problem, and you could have been a lot rougher on me than you were. If you'd been rough, even for a normal person, it would have probably killed me." She gave another shrug as she moved to the bed where her things were sitting.
"I've got hemophillia though. Bleeding won't stop, but I'm sure you know that. Even so, I... Well I know of vampires and am never opposed to helping one out." He gave him a smile before yawning. "Interesting to see you awake during the day. I haven't run across that much. But... I'm kinda tired, and my parents think I'm over at a friends house. Mind if I crash here for another couple hours?" She was sure he wouldn't say no, but she figured she might as well be polite about it.
"And you don't have to sleep on the couch... I don't mind sharing the bed ya know." She couldn't help the grin on her face.
CallMeSensei - May 2, 2009 12:16 AM (GMT)
James noted her seeming lack of embarrassment on spying on him, but he wasn't in the mood to teach her a lesson in humility. It would also be kind of hypocritical since he had the same urges. As she spoke, he frowned as she called him love, but let her continue. "I tend to be less violent with women." He said simply. "I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if I let something happen to you after I fed." He said with a sigh.
As she walked back towards the bed, James couldn't help but take a look at her body. She was attractive in her own way. "I should've been able to figure it out sooner." He said standing up wrapping the blanket around his shoulder like a cloak. "Then you know the dangers of being around us, especially with your condition." He said with a sigh. She was anemic, but he remembered the taste of her blood. It was intoxicating, but he'd been around long enough to control it. His body craved for more, but he held himself back.
"It's something of a rare gift." He said simply as she said she hadn't run across many who could. "Most others like to keep it a secret." He said as a reason. Then she asked if she could stay over, and he shrugged. The movement caused the blanket to shrug off, and he barely managed to catch it, and wrap it around his waist. "Sure. You can stay as long as you like. I have some water in the refrigerator. I can also get some food ordered for you." He said rubbing his arm and pretended not to hear her as she suggested sleeping in the same bed together. "I'll sleep on the couch for a little while. Don't hesitate to wake me up if you need anything." He said with a slight smile, or an attempt at one depends on how you looked at it, and started back towards the couch.
Silver Wolf19 - May 2, 2009 04:27 PM (GMT)
"Eh, it's not a problem really. I know that I could die anytime and I've accepted that. I'll be a vampire one day I hope though." But would Edmund really keep his promise to turn her? She wasn't so sure...
"I mean it's really the only way I'll live anything close to a normal life." She rolled her eyes. "It's not dangerous though, not unless the vamps I'm with either don't care or loose control Edmund kinda does both, but he knows my limits and can help me get better after."
She sat back on the bed and was curious why he didn't join her. Sure she'd like to spend a little time with him, but she also didn't want to put him out of his own bed.
Sighing Alison stood, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "Okay, fine... You don't think I'm pretty enough. Nothing new. But even then I'm not gonna intrude in your home and hog your bed. I can take the couch, it's not a problem."
Yeah yeah her feelings were a bit bruised. But that bruise healed a lot quicker than physical ones, at least for her. "But yeah, take the bed, I promise I won't attack you or anything." She tried to force a grin to her face, but didn't do it too well as she grabbed her things to move closer to the couch. "I'll be gone before sun-down. Promise."
CallMeSensei - May 2, 2009 08:03 PM (GMT)
James nodded as the girl spoke. "You have someone who will turn you?" He asked wondering what kind of person the other vampire was. There were many different ones, and he wanted to make sure that it wasn't one of those who would just use her. He had something of a temper when it came to that. The girl deserved more respect than to be used like a hunk of meat. "You have no idea how dangerous it can be. There are those who would take the greatest pleasure in making your last moments as agonizing as possible." He said referring to the Tarepha, and even the ones in his coven. He was something of a black sheep with them.
As he sat down on the couch, James looked at her surprised as she spoke again. "What?" He looked at her, and let out a sigh. So she took the chivalry the wrong way. "No it isn't like that..." He stammered slightly. He really didn't get women sometimes... "You can stay as long as you like. I just..." He ran his fingers through his hair sighing. "Old habits die hard." He muttered before moving over to her, and held her arm gently. The grin wasn't exactly convincing, and he shook his head. "I think you are pretty, it's just I was raised on chivalry." He wasn't thinking, and he wanted to stuff those words back in his mouth, but it was too late. Girls just flustered him sometimes.
Silver Wolf19 - May 2, 2009 08:15 PM (GMT)
"Well, he said he would anyway... But I guess we'll see." And even if Edmund didn't she could always ask Dmitri to do it right? He'd do it for her because he knew she wanted, almost needed, it.
"Oh I know what kinds of vampires there are. I mean I hang out at the Sinister Puppet all the time. But they know Edmund and his temper, so they don't bother me." She gave a shrug.
She'd moved her stuff and he got up though reluctantly. "Chivalry huh? What were you like a knight or something?" So he had to be older than Edmund if he was that. "Well don't worry about it, I know I'm not really pretty anyway. Edmund's one of the few that doesn't really care about looks, so I guess it just feels strange, not being wanted."
And his smile as he said she was pretty wasn't convincing in the slightest. Alison shrugged and plopped down on the couch, away from his touch. She had been hoping to at least get one of her fixes in since she hadn't seen Edmund last night... But oh well...
"Get back to sleep though. I won't bug ya any."
CallMeSensei - May 5, 2009 11:58 PM (GMT)
James nodded as the girl said she had someone to turn her. He had to wonder who that someone was. There were enough vampires in the city that he'd have a hard time pinning down who it was until he got more information.
"You hang out at that hellhole?" He asked nearly spitting the words out. James wasn't exactly the most loving of the Tarepha, they were all brutes who gave into every desire. It disgusted him, then it took him a second to put one and one together. "Did you just say Edmund?" He asked raising an eyebrow. There was more than one Edmund in that Coven, but from the way she spoke of this Edmund, James was able to cut down a large number of them. There were only really a few Edmunds that he knew who had quite the temper. "Edmund Hammer?" He thought outloud frowning. If it was who he thought it was, it was bad news for her to be involved with this Edmund. From what James heard, Hammer was bad news. The man was involved in the mafia, and there were rumors floating around that Hammer's employer was interested in getting a piece of Demaitre's underworld. That made a lot of problems for a lot of people, especially those who found themselves at the receiving end of Hammer's wrath.
His thoughts were interrupted as the girl brought up chivalry. "No, I was alive during the Revolutionary War...the colonies." He added almost as an after thought as there were a number of different revolutionary wars. "My father raised me with those standards." He said with a half smile.
As she added about not being wanted, James's mouth opened and closed. Women were frustrating sometimes. Try to be a gentleman and they call you a chauvinist pig, try to tell them they're pretty and they take it the wrong way sometimes. He might've been just a little over two hundred years old, but he could never grasp his mind around women, especially since they kept on seeming to evolve. As the girl laid down on the couch, it crossed James's mind to ask for her name. "I'm James." He said with a slight bow of his head. "I apologize for any offense." He said formally. Afterwards James laid down on his bed feeling like he should just get up and insist she take the bed, but he refrained from doing so. He had a few other things to think about.
Silver Wolf19 - May 6, 2009 12:53 AM (GMT)
"It's not that bad." She said dismissively. God... He was turning into another Dmitri... Maybe she should just leave now.
"Yeah, that's the one." She confirmed as he knew the Edmund she was talking about. "And don't let his rep scare you, he's not really that bad. He's not a Knight or anything like you, but he can be a good guy." She crossed her arms, glaring up at him, daring him to say more. But he didn't.
"Ah, well that's cool too I guess. Still old fashion times though. No wonder you won't touch me." She muttered the last part, but he could probably hear it anyways.
"Well, night James." She mumbled as she turned over, facing the back of the couch. She'd leave as soon as he was asleep. She didn't want to be stuck with this prim proper goody-goody all day. He probably wouldn't even be any fun. Unless....
She grinned, closing her eyes as she waited for him to fall asleep.
CallMeSensei - May 6, 2009 02:27 AM (GMT)
James didn't like the place at all. It was rather a disgusting place for him, but it was popular. He couldn't stand the music, but he knew that it was popular with the so called goths. He might've been lacking in his knowledge of women, but he knew his pop culture. Adapting was one of the more important lessons Cordelia taught him. Thinking about her, James remembered that she was somewhat bipolar, and always made fun of him for his belief in chivalry. It was one of the more fun times of his immortal life, but they both knew it couldn't last long.
As she said yes to it being Edmund Hammer, James nodded, but kept the rest of his thoughts to himself. He nodded as she said that he could be a good guy. James hadn't met Hammer personally, but he also knew that first impressions weren't everything. He might've been a good guy at heart, but it didn't change the fact that he was involved with the mafia, if the rumors were to be believed. It wasn't hard to sort out the facts from fiction, but James always tried to keep an open mind.
James shook his head as the girl spoke about how old he was. Sure he was old fashioned, but he believed that women deserved some kind of respect. And he heard the girl mutter about not touching her, and he just shook his head again letting out a sigh.
"Good night." James said with a half smile moving over to the bed, and getting underneath the covers. The girl seemed to know what she was doing, but it could turn for the worse in a second especially with her condition. James turned onto his side facing the couch where she was sleeping, before he closed his eyes and let himself slowly drift into sleep.
Silver Wolf19 - May 6, 2009 02:36 AM (GMT)
It took a while, over two hours until she was sure he was asleep. Sure this was a low down and dirty trick, but she was sure that he wanted something even if he didn't show it. After all, what kind of guy would throw out the offer of sex? Edmund was more insane that he was, and any guy in his right mind would gladly accept any girl who was willing.
Now, she wanted Edmund... She wanted how he made her feel and everything else like that. But then again... She'd never had sex with another guy before, so maybe she could just get it from any guy... Maybe she wouldn't have to be so dependent on Edmund...
Grinning she pulled off the long shirt and slipped off of the couch.
He was laying on his side, but that was okay. She needed him to wake up anyway, after all, he couldn't be asleep for what she really wanted.
Pushing on his shoulder lightly, he moved to lay on his back and she pulled the sheet from his body. She straddled him then, her hands skimming along his chest and up his shoulders as she pressed her body close to his. Her backside pressed against his hips slightly as she moved to kiss his lips, gently at first, but then more eagerly, meaning to wake him up.
CallMeSensei - May 6, 2009 03:10 AM (GMT)
James happened to be dreaming of Cordelia. He dreamed of one of the nights he spent with in New York four years after he was turned. They weren't lovers or anything, but this dream was different. They were sitting in a hotel room, and they had the unfortunate circumstance of having only one bed.
He sat at the edge of the bed as Cordelia took a bath, and he knew that he'd give the bed to her, and he laid on his side enjoying the feeling of a mattress underneath him. Then he heard his sire move over to him, and push his shoulder lightly, just enough to make him fall on his side. He wanted her, and he let out a soft groan as she straddled him. Their bodies pressed together, and she kissed him, gently at first, then hungrier. James returned her kisses and pressed his hips against her's.
Then he started waking up from the dream, and realized that the girl was on top of him. James reacted for a second wanting to push her away, but the part of his brain that was usually in control decided to take a backseat. He reached a hand around the girl's neck, and pulled her closer kissing her passionately. One of the more embarrassing facts about James was that he'd never had sex before. It was just something that never came around while he was travelling. Plus the whole chivalry thing was something of a double edged sword.
Silver Wolf19 - May 6, 2009 03:21 AM (GMT)
Alison grinned mentally as he pulled her closer, his body reacting to hers in just about every way. It was what she wanted, and it was what he wanted too. Or so it seemed.
she pulled away from their kiss, panting slightly. "You don't know how bad I want this..." She murmured, her eyes hungry as she looked down at him. But she didn't want him to start second guessing, start hesitating. She knew from her time with Edmund that hesitation usually lead to a changing of the mind. And she so didn't want that now...
As their kiss deepened, Alison slipped her tongue into his mouth, sliding the flesh across a fang, slicing it easily just as she'd done with Edmund. He wouldn't be able to resist once blood was involved, she was sure of that much.
Taking his other hand she ran it up her thigh, over her backside. His boxers were still on, but that was only a minor issue. "You want me too... I know you do..." She murmured as she came up for another breath. That was really the only bad thing about vampires. They didn't need to breath, so loosing their breath after too much activity didn't seem to be an issue.
CallMeSensei - May 6, 2009 05:34 PM (GMT)
James let out a sigh as they parted. His body was hungry, and his mind was off in Never Never Land. he was excited by the contact, and wanted more. He didn't really hear what the girl said, but his body told him it wasn't that important.
Then they were kissing again, and his hands traveled along her back and sides relishing the feeling of her soft skin. Then her tongue worked into his mouth. James slid his against her's in kind, and then there it was, the blood was the icing on the cake, and he kissed her more vigorously tasting what blood he could get.
He didn't respond to what she said after they parted, and growled before kissing her again and flipping over so he was on top, letting his hips grind against her, he was getting more hungry and excited by the minute. James kissed at her neck as he pulled himself free of his boxers off.
Silver Wolf19 - May 7, 2009 02:42 AM (GMT)
The day-time romp was decent. It wasn't anything like when she was with Edmund, but it was still good. Maybe that was the difference with and without drugs. But well, since she'd never done one without the other, or with another guy, she didn't yet have a basis for judgment.
Sighing she pushed herself up off the bed, taking in the measure of the damage.
Surprisingly there were no bruises or cuts or anything like that that she'd need him to take care of. Well that was a first. Usually Edmund had a few to tend to, but did it willingly because he knew it was something she needed. Well, her parents could have seen the bruises, but then she'd be on house arrest again.
"That wasn't bad..." She murmured. "Not a single bruise and I feel good..." She hadn't noticed until now how tense and tight she'd been. Now her muscles were all relaxed, loose and eager for more. She was a little tired, but because the blood loss was minimal really, she was still ready for more.
But... She still wanted Edmund...
"Yeah... I feel damn good..." She said with a silly grin.
CallMeSensei - May 7, 2009 12:21 PM (GMT)
James let out a sigh as they finished. It was his first time, and he could tell Alice was slightly disappointed. Well there was nothing he could do about that, but she didn't seem too put out by it.
He was laying down on his side kissing at the girl's neck when she lifted herself up to survey any damage to her. Even though he nearly lost control James seemed to miraculously do no real damage to her.
As she spoke he smiled slightly. "Whoever said chialry is dead is full of crap." He said still feeling a little drunk from the blood and sexual high. Then he thought for a second." I do too." Not saying anything about it being his first time. She probably figured it out anyway. He let out a sigh and rolled onto his back. "What's your name?" He asked realiing he didn't even know that. He tended to use telepathy very sparingly, and didn't want to intrude on her privacy.
Silver Wolf19 - May 7, 2009 03:53 PM (GMT)
As he'd laid there she slipped out of the bed, moving to her clothes, the ones that were folded with her things.
"Huh? Oh. Alison." She said casually. Checking the time, it was later than she'd thought, so figured it would be a good time to leave. Besides, she didn't want to give him the wrong idea.
"Hey... It's kinda late in the day, and I should probably be heading home. My parents still treat me like I'm a kid." She rolled her eyes as she pulled on her pants.
She didn't want any attachment. She wanted fun. That was why she liked Edmund, he knew that. James aparen'tly didn't. The kisses at her neck made her uncomfortable because they weren't hungry, he didn't want anything back. She wasn't used to something like that.
CallMeSensei - May 7, 2009 05:53 PM (GMT)
James nodded as alison got up and told him her name. It wouldn't be too much trouble finding out her full name. Letting out a sigh he knew she used him, but he wasn't that upset over it.
Believe it or not he'd been a virgin until he met her, and he actually enjoyed it. James got out of bed not bothering to cover up now as she spoke about leaving. "Alright. We're near Cedarwood so it shouldn't be too hard to find your way back." Then he walked over to his desk and ripped a piece of paper and scribbled down two numbers on it. "Here they're my numbers. Call me if you need anything." He said emphasizing the anything.
Now that he got the chance to look at Alison, he was attracted to her. Her blood was delicious, and just the way she held herself attracted him. "Anyway...take care. Alright?" He pulled on his discarded boxers and opened the door for her, making sure to stay out of the sunlight that came in through the hallway.
Silver Wolf19 - May 7, 2009 10:18 PM (GMT)
"I know the city pretty well. Don't worry." She gave a little shrug as she pulled her shirt back on.
She looked blankly as he handed her the piece of paper. "Uh sure, yeah." She shoved the scrap in her back pocket.
Grabbing her bag she slung it over her shoulder and turned to the door. But she paused then. Maybe... Maybe she should just shoot him down now. A little bit of pain now or more dragged out over a longer time? Less now was better, she decided.
"Look... I... I probably won't see much of you. It's not that you're not a great guy or anything, but... I dunno... I really like Edmund. He might just see me as amusing for now, but maybe when I'm like you guys, I'll be different for him." She smiled hopefully. "So... Don't get your hopes up is what I'm trying to say. Okay?"

James watched her as she hesitantly took the piece of paper and stuck it in her pocket. He knew that she'd be alright. It was pretty warm outside, and he could feel a slight pang of want to step out, and get a tan, but that'd be suicide. He wasn't all about committing suicide, usually didn't end up well.
James already knew that he wasn't going to see much of Alison, but he wanted to give her something just in case. Who knew? Maybe he'd come and save the day for her...yeah...and pigs fly. "I wasn't expecting much anyway." He said with a slight smile as Alison cut him down. There was some pain, but he'd live. It wasn't worth getting all depressed on her. "Things might not change..." He paused for a second wanting to shove the words right back down. "...but you never know. We change people for a lot of different reasons." He said not really wanting to list them. Cordelia had turned him to have something of a plaything, but it turned out different than what both of them expected.
"If you need anything don't hesitate to call me okay?" He said meaning it. "I'm not asking you call me all the time, but just in case something happens." He said with a slightly softer smile. He wasn't going to be clingy like most virgins. He knew what happened, and what the repurcussions were.

"Well... That's good at least. I just didn't want you to get the wrong idea or anything. That would kinda suck, I mean I don't like hurting peoples feelings." But after all he was a vampire, so he'd probably slept with more women in his couple hundred years or whatever than he could remember.
"Sure." Alison turned to the door again and made her way out as he said to call him if she needed to. She probably wouldn't, but that didn't really matter. Maybe giving him a little hope was okay.
"Bye." She said before shutting the door, pulling out her cell phone to call her parents. She did say she would call them on her way home.
Blinking in the bright light she made her way home, a rather uneventful trip but a nice walk none the less. She thought that she'd had her fix with James... But... But there was a bigger addiction that only Edmund could feed. Well, one that she trusted only him to feed. She knew his drugs wouldn't kill her, and he seemed to know just how much to give her so she didn't have any problems that couldn't be solved with a little rest and food.
She'd have to try to see him tonight... Before it got too bad.
