ok i have a few questions first off i saw "Diffuse sunlight " As a power for the ishak and i was wondering what exactly is this? i checked with a search but couldn't fin anything on it. Second i'm making my human a vampire and there unapproved so i was wondering if i should just add it in the history when its done? Third I read the regeneration part but i was wondering if something ( Eyes in this case) was destroyed completely before they were turned would they regenerate? if they would could telepathy be used to take it away? Fourth if yes to the others then could i make an ability using echolocation? i was thinking that from the point they were turned they could only see grainy images in their line of site ( Because their used to seeing whats in front of them) And since their eyes are gone it would take over for it after awhile they could see things in the immediate area and eventually she can "See" whats going on in the area and the quality of what she see's is better. But since she is using sound to construct a mental picture of her surrounding everything would be a grey color. fifth if i make my app a vampire app when they are turned should i put their future powers or add them as they develop?

not always. as far as i understand if part of the body is completely lost, such as an arm before they were turned they would not grow it back afterwards. this goes for everything i think.

example: spirits throat was sliced damaging her vocal cords after she was turned they did not heal.

thats what i was thinking of

1) Diffuse sunlight is exactly what it sounds like. Sunlight that has been diffused by something to make it weaker. Viz, window tinting, heavy to moderate cloud cover, that sort of thing. If a vampire has the ability to walk in Diffuse Sunlight, that means they're okay on a cloudy day to go outside, or drive around in tinted windows that aren't pitch black.

2) No a part would not regenerate. If they were blind before because they hand their eyes gouged out to leave empty sockets, they would not grow back. Now if there was something else wrong, like tissue damage or whatever from a blood clot or random degenerative disease yes it would be healed I believe.

3) Telepathy would not be able to 'take away' someone's eyesight. Speaking into someone's mind and then cutting out a part of there mind would be two different powers all together.

4) I seriously doubt echolocation would be approved.... The pretext behind echolocation (As in bats and dolphins) Is that they have a specific frequency that they can emit and they have a special part of their skull that can receive this frequency and a part to interpret it. Humans have none of these abilities. So it's not physically possible. The frequency of the sound part might be picked up as a vampire, but it's not going to change her skeletal make up or her brain...

5) Ecolocation is a stupid idea when a vampire has the keenest senses around. They can hear noises other things are making, they can smell just about everything and even if they occasionally tripped over a table, what's the worse that could happen?

6) Playing a blind person can get old quick... Been there done that... Kinda like the mute :-P lol

i said "like" echolocation and its theoretically possible also if she does get that ability then she would really be all that blind now would she? and does anyone know the answer to my app questions?

You can either add something like "Her powers lean more towards the mental, and she's still waiting to see what she can do." But you don't put things she can't do on the profile. Otherwise you have a fledgling who can fuck with peoples minds and bend them to her will. Forgetting that's 2000 years in the future when she masters all the powers
