Appearance: Maya is a short woman of mixed heritage with several unusual characteristics. The main features that show through though are her italian and korean . She's about five, one and weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of a hundred and seven pounds. Maya has a very small and slightly athletic frame with slightly curved hips and no bust to speak of, She has large observant emerald eyes with her right eye bring a slightly different tone then the other. Her skin tans easily but quickly pale's without exposure to sunlight. Her hair is black and medium length,falls almost evenly to around her shoulder blades. She very rarely puts it up and only in a ponytail when she does, about halfway down her hair is dyed alternating between gold and deep blue layers.

Wardrobe: Clothing wise Maya has a wide range of style and has worn ordinary T-shirts and jeans to somethings that make her blush thinking back on them. Most of the time though she wears more ordinary outfits so she doesn't attract too much attention , she can usually be found in long sleeve shirts and jeans , both because of the cool weather and to hide her tattoos.

Personality:Maya has always been a watcher. She is interested in other people and can often be found drawing portraits and profiles of people that recently interested her. She is deeply involved in art with great sketching and painting ability. However she lacks confidence towards her art and is hesitant to show it, even to people she is close to. Similar to art while she is curious about people she doesn't have very good social skills and lacks confidence around others not talking to most people unless something catches her attention or she needs to.Also while she tends to shy away from others she believes that most people are good and is probably a bit more naive than is good for her.


History: Maya was born in Demaitreto an almost normal family,her father was a environmental researcher and her mother was a corporate researcher. Her parents were always positive toward her and usually gave her anything she wanted,this occasionally caused them to argue occasionally and Maya went to them less and less as she grew.when she entered school she stayed away from other children unsure of how to act around them, refusing to ask her parents for fear of sparking another fight. So instead she watched them at a distance and began drawing stick figures and such of the people she saw and had them keep her company. Her grades for the next several years were nothing special but well within passing and she continued drawing becoming more interested in the people she drew instead of the drawings themselves.


She was still unsure of how to react around others and was very afraid of others finding her art because she didn't want the thing she enjoyed most to be judged. when she was close to graduating her parents oblivious to her talent and interest in art instead argued over which collage to send her to and Maya couldn't bring herself to tell them. The day after graduation she withdrew a couple thousand dollars her parents had put in an account for her should she need it and disappeared into the city. For several days she looked for a good tattoo parlor before she found one that would allow her to use her own designs.

Over the next couple weeks she hid away in a motel as she got her tattoos. She started with the two on her wrists which were completed in a couple days. Next she got the tattoo across her throat which took about the same amount of time as her wrists. Finally she got the phoenix on her back and waited a few days before getting her angel. The tattooist told her to wait a few days in between each tattoo and it took around three weeks to get them finished .

After her tattoo's had set she went home and her parents immediately grew angry with her for leaving and her rebellious attitude. Maya quietly told them both she loved art and wasn't going to school. They were outraged and told her she should listen to her parents causing her to reply slightly sadly that they didn't see it but she grew up. She went to her room and grabbed up her art supplies throwing them in a book bag and left home for good. She works on and off selling designs to some of the local tattooists as well as doing portraits and paintings to make her way.

You left out place of birth at the beginning, though it is in there later. I have a problem with your main premise--the conflict between her and her parents. Why does their giving her everything she wanted cause her to pull away from them?

Other than that there's nothing too impossible.

I'd classify this application's chances of being approved as likely.

It's not that that drove her away. its that they argued with each other every time she talked to them.
