With the recent attempts by Marcus to get this site going again, perhaps it is time for a solid plot. Might I suggest something with a little intrigue, perhaps a bit of drama? I'm presently a brainless twit, however, and thus require ideas spiked with intelligence and magnificence being bounced off of my thick skull like plastic snowballs in order to come up with something good.

well i have not played much with nitalya so she is still a 'work in progress' until i get a good feel for her.

she works in the ER and then goes drinking, sometime in between the two she works out. that is all i have come up with so far.

Rem is currently taking care of spirit who she recently turned instead of letting her die.

Hm...wonder how Nitalya would feel about working for the local mob? Or how she would even be in contact with them, considering she sounds like a run-of-the-mill doctor. O_o Or is she a nurse? In either event, she wouldn't be passing blood to Ghislain or his 'family', as they don't drink dead blood...hm...

Other than drinking, she have any kind of extracurricular activities? I know you haven't developed her yet, but meh...

Exactly what kind of work do you do now that you're a runaway army dude? Protection? Assassination? What?

So, he's essentially a gofer and hired gun. Okay...we need a plot, then.

Obviously, being the local mob, Ghislain and his family would control a substantial portion of Demaitre businesses. The only problem with someone like your char would be how exactly to do an RP; anything we'd come up with for a job would be brief, I think. Also, people would be stupid to have Ghislain offed; and anyway, Ghislain would end up killing your char if he DID try to off the vamp.

So...ideas?

He could have been hired by a smaller competitor of Ghislain's to mess with his business ( I'm assuming he hires more than vampires) and making a very large nuisance for Ghislain. Ghislain getsinterested in his ability and searches him out.

she is one of the chief surgeon in the ER, though before that she was a highly trained combat medic and soldier in Russia. she drinks because of the nightmares she has and is just trying to keep her life somewhat stable while hiding her past.

though like i said a work in progress, i normally finish developing my characters after playing with them some so i know what works good for them.

Old as Ghislain is, he's probably got more connections than a Microsoft supercomputer network. Also, he probably wouldn't be too well-known except to vampires and people who work for vampires. In any event, you'd have to be one hell of a soldier to f*** with Ghislain...and whomever hired you would have to be pretty f***in' stupid. xD But maybe...I don't know. Ghislain and his family run things from behind the scenes, y'know?

Wait, now that's an idea...

Perhaps some recent arms deals have caught the attention of a private detective who's hired your character to draw out whomever might be behind them. He does his own investigations, of course, and suspects some kind of mob behind them - hence your actions.

That still wouldn't explain how we would interact, though. I mean, any kind of a fight would be over in the blink of an eye. Even if you went against one of his fledglings, you'd be dead in a heartbeat. Human vs. vamp an' all.

On the other hand, you're right; he doesn't just hire vamps, as that would be stupid. Then the question, however, would be how your char and mine would interact - which is still open for debate.

Also, to Rem:
Hm...so no ideas how she'd be connected to immortal bloodsucking mobsters, eh? XD

Hmmm how about this. Leon is hired to take out a group of Ghislain's human thugs so he ambushes them and kills.....i don't know thirteen of them is ominous so i'll use that Ghislain finds out another vampire was behind hiring leon and assumes that he is a vampire . He's insulted and goes to deal with him personally

But Ghislain's telepathy would tell him that your char is anything but a vamp.

do yuo have Aim? i might be able to explain it a bit better...if not then i was thinking he found out his humans had been killed by some rival vampire and assumed that the killer was a vampire as well, when he finds him he immediately realizes he's human and begins thinking of killing him before realizing the potential of hiring him instead.

sadly you might have more luck plotting with rem who not only is untrusting towards men, but down right hates those who use women. she actually only feeds on murderers and such.

Just not sure that's my kind of RP, Haine. I mean, it sounds interesting, but it's probably not something I'd RP on this particular site; I'm more about the drama and such on this site than I am about the action. Sorry. :/

And Rem, yeah...maybe. Perhaps we should set something up between Rem and Ghislain? How might they get together? Where does Rem usually hang out? What does Rem usually do for fun, or for a living?

well at the moment she is taking care of spirit who is a day old fledgling, she will be trying to teach her to only eat those who have already taken life, which could be just about anyone in his organization. he might notice a good handful of his men 2-4 are going missing almost every night giving him reason to seek out who is doing it.

she can be found in the back alleys or any 'unsafe' place in search of her meals and unless she gets someone to watch spirit she cant really go clubbing or bar hopping unless it was a vampire only place.

2-4 a night? O_o That's a lot of blood.

But okay, maybe. Hm...Ghislain's not really the type to do things himself unless he gets really pissed. So, let's say he sends a fledgling or two of his own to 'fetch' the young vampire. Deciding to find out what in the hell's going on, your vamp decides to follow. Naturally, Ghislain telepathically senses the presence of another vamp, but he lets you come on.

You start off the rp by 'secretly' following the duo and their 'captive' (your fledgling). We do a couple posts of that, maybe, and then lead into Ghislain's home?

all sounds do able except that they would not be able to get spirit away of Rem and her be alive. think of a human mothers rage when you mess with her kid and apply it to a 2,000 yrs old vampire, not a pretty sight.

he could send 2 vampires and they try to take spirit, getting killed or wound pretty badly. rem would then try and seek him out since he tried to take/hurt spirit to rip him a new one for messing with her.

Perhaps a slightly friendlier approach? Two of Ghislain's fledglings go to 'collect' the girl, find her creator with her, and 'oh-so-politely' ( ;) ) invite them to Ghislain's home for a little discussion.

I'd be happy to reply to the topic if you'll have me. I send a couple of associates; the man Spirit killed worked for me. Said associates have been watching the girl for a week or more, and watching Rem; Ghislain finally makes his move and gives a - erm - "friendly invitation" ( ;) ) to his mansion for a "polite discussion".
