Name: Damon Sean Harbinger

Gender: Male

Appearance: Damon stands about 6'1 and weighs a decent 200 lbs. His black hair is moderately long but he keeps it well styled and his black eyes, that brings out the golden tan to his skin, have a generally sleepy look to them and a faint smile that is always present. Generally his clothing will consist of a suit of somekind, without the tie if the day calls for casual dress or with it for more formal occasions, and the cut, color and material are always in some of the more tasteful fashions. With him he carries a leather satchel, which contains his documents for his work, that is either black or dark brown and on his left hand, there is a faint tanline around his ring finger from where his wedding ring used to rest.

History: Damon Sean Harbinger was born in Budapest, Hungary to a Roma father and an English mother, hence the strange combination that makes up his name. His father, even though he was a Roma, owned a small jewelry shop in down town and his mother often helped to make the jewelry, giving it that handcrafted touch that sold such things well. The first born son of the Harbingers, they thought, was a gift that spoke of good tidings for their stop.

Years passed and, like a normal boy, Damon went to school, worked on his studies, went to the shop to help out a bit, then went home to eat, finish his homework and get some sleep. He made many friends and would go out as often as he could so long as it did not impede his school work or take time away from the shop when his parents needed him. His father was proud of him for making such good friends with the neightborhood children but also worried about him. After all, not all the children in the neighborhood were decent people.

When the young Harbinger turned thirteen, his father pulled him aside and after his studies were done began training the young boy in the family trade of knife throwing. Before his father met his mother and decided to settle down, he had been a knife thrower in a traveling circus, his act by itself amazing enough to draw people from miles around to see it. "You may need this skill later in life," he had told his son when they began praciticing, "you never know what will come of the future."

After graduating high school, Damon decided he wanted to become a teacher in a far away country, since teachers were in high demand everywhere, and went to a univeristy not far from London. It was here he met the love of his life, the gentle art student Marie Trambeau from France and had his heart stolen for the first time. The two dated for almost two years before he asked for her hand in marriage and once both achieved their diplomas, Damon in Biological Education and Marie in Art, they were married in London at a small church, bound to each other forever in Holy Matrimony. Damon, at the time, had been a tender twenty three year old man and she no older than twenty two.

The next five years passed pretty much the same, the two immersed in their work but each making sure to set aside some time for their beloved each and every night to talk, cuddle or perhaps...do other things. They didn't have children, deciding instead that when their careers were set enough to ensure they could raise a child to have one, but as it turned out, they never got the chance. Marie Trambeau-Harbinger, on her way back from work late one night, disappeared. Neither her husband nor her co-workers knew where she was and despite their best efforts, neither did the police.

The search for her went on for months and months, leaving everyone but Damon starting to lose hope that she'd ever be found, let alone alive. In the end, two years after she had done missing, she was found. Her body had been mangled, her tissues so decayed her face would not be identified but her teeth and the DNA from her bones confirmed the worst for the poor teacher who had clung onto hope for so long. He stayed in London long enough to attend her closed-casket funeral then sold nearly everything he owned in London to start a new work somewhere else, somewhere far away from the happy and hurtful memories of his broken love. Demaitre, as it turned out, was the place he decided on.

Now Damon Harbinger lives in Demaitre, working as a Biology teacher at the local high school, trying to gather enough of himself back together to be able to go on living a normal life again. He makes sure to always keep a smile on his face, partly to hide how sad he feels sometimes but also partly to force himself to be happy, and goes out when his classwork his done to relax about and let his worries escape. He keeps up with his knife throwing, even now, and keeps a set of throwing knives on him when he goes out late at night, but even those he keeps with him out of habit now, not knowing what the night has in store for him. He wants desperately to see his wife's murderer brought to justice but...it is dream he doubts he will ever see in this life time.
