I know I'm pretty much still new here on the site but sadly enough some things have popped up. I've been a member of the College Partnership program for almost 5 years to get paid for my grades to help pay for college. Now, I've finished my junior year with the hopes of going to college in Fall of 2009 but just a mere few minutes ago, I've gotten a phone call saying that my scholarship funds of over $100,000 was suddenly cut off when the program decides to go out of business because of the government's demands. My mom won't recieve a refund of her $2,000 down payment nor will I get to see the money I've busted my ass off for college.

Now, I'm faced with some seriously tough decisions because my mom and I don't have the funds to really send me off to college and joining the service is starting to look extremely tempting at the moment because now my mom is currently talking to her lawyer about this situation and the case has become a huge scene and God only knows how long this case will last but yeah.. My mom is suing and so are a lot of other people, and there's no telling if I'll be able to get my college funds or not, so I'm in a bit of a jam and I don't know as to how long I'll be around on the site at the moment.


But anyways, I hope you guys understand and I hope to see you guys around sometime.

I too am off to college and hoping my funds come through. From my dad's business, which is rocky at the moment, so I know how bad it feels to might not be able to go.

I just found out that this is a multiple company fraud case and there's been two linking programs that have suddenly vanished over the course of the beginning of the year and last year.

I'm really, really sorry to hear that. Words can't adequately express it.

I really hope that you get everything sorted out.

My student loan company is having to cut back on giving loans this upcoming year, which sucks because I'll have to sell my soul to yet another place in order to get student loans. I got loans through the state, so maybe that would be helpful for you to look into. I think might was actually sorta through the school. If you live in a big town like I do, they might have a college center that can help you find legit loan places and stuff, or even the school itself. I think loans are easier to find that people think they are. But good luck to you anyway. I'm sure everything will turn out.

Eh, it's been a while and the court date was last Wednesday. They didn't show up and recently I found out that all of a sudden all their accounts just suddenly "emptied" themselves within 24 hours of the court hearing and because of that, there is going to be an abnormally long delay and at this point it really looks like I'll be doing the USMC.
