Okay... I was thinking that it might be interesting to have Adri meet her real mother.

Now... My big idea was that maybe when she was about 8 months along with Adri she was bit and turned by a vampire (Maybe one tried to kill her and another then saved her, whatever) so Adri was born and then whoever turned her mother just dropped her at the hospital to be adopted.

Also... This is just another possibility, but maybe her mother always thought she died, which was why she never looked for her. Or maybe even she watched on through her daughter's troubled life or something *shrugs*

I was thinking her mother would be kind of young, early twenties or so, and she would have been turned on Adri's birthday of course, so that's about 16 or 17 years ago.
