Title: Arrival
Description: New Member

Luna Moon - May 22, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
Luna walked into the place she had been told was called the Labyrinth. She stood there at the beginning. She now knew why it was named that. A perfect description, she thought to herself. She could have touched the walls to find someone or enter thoughts, but she decided that it was wise not to do so here. She readjusted her bag on her shoulder and called out to a level where vampires could hear her, "Umm...I'm new here and I'm part of the Enashe coven. They said I could be of use here in the Casino and for the coven."

She stood there fidgety and nervous. She didn't always like her new superior, but they said that she would like the one they called Lily. She was nervous because she was not always accepted by her superiors and collegues. She waited for someone to come to meet her. she was scared that if she went to find them that she would either get lost or stumble onto something that they didn't want ther to see.

Lilla - June 4, 2008 04:53 PM (GMT)
OOC| Just a quick reminder, I’ve changed my character’s name from Lily to Lilla. I’ve been changing the name on important permanent posts, but not all of my RP posts, which is why both names have been used. |

Lilla was in her office, near the beginning of the Labyrinth. She paced back and forth in front of her large wooden desk, reading from the large stack of papers she held in her hand. She had been spending lots of time away from the casino, and paperwork had piled up. She stopped and rummaged for a pen underneath the folders scattered on the desk, irritated she couldn’t find anything to write with. She had just spotted a pencil and had started to annotate the papers in her hand when she heard someone calling out from the hallway.

“Just what I need.” She hissed underneath her breath. It was quite common for lost little vampires to wander about the halls, waiting to be found. She needed a better introductory system, a welcome wagon, anything. She dropped the papers and pencil on top of the mess on her desk and left her office by way of the hidden door that led to the Labyrinth.

She wore a peacock blue cocktail dress, and the silk skirt swished about her hips as she walked. Her stilettos clicked across the black marble tiles as she attempted to locate the source of her interruption. Her shoes and her dress and her perfume made it obvious she was not attempting to surprise anyone. She belonged here; she had no reason to.

Lilla rounded a corner and stopped, several feet down the hallway from where Luna stood waiting. She tossed her blonde curls over her shoulder and started coolly down at Luna.

“Yes?” She finally said, somewhat impatiently.

Luna Moon - June 17, 2008 02:26 AM (GMT)
OOC| Okay.|

Luna heard her coming but didn't move. When she rounded the corner Luna knew that this was Lilla. The dress she wore was one of the prettiest shades of blue.

“Yes?”

Her tone was irritated but Luna didn't shrink back. she knew she was probably busy and interrupted her. Luna bowed her head respectfully. "Ma'am," she looked back up to her eyes, "I am a member of the Enashe coven. I have come here from New Orleans, Lousiana. They said you might could give me a job, either with or without my powers. It is a pleasure to meet you." Luna had done this so many times, but even now she was nervous. Lilla was the leader of the Enashe coven.

Luna looked down at her feet after she spoke. Compared to Lilla, Luna was a shabby vampire. She wore plain blue jeans and a tshirt. She looked up at Lilla, hoping she didn't offend her in some way.

Lilla - June 21, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
Lilla stared at Luna for a few seconds, sizing her up. She listened to the newcomer's explanation, and watched her stare down at her feet.

"Look at me, please." She answered. "…Unless your shoes are going to employ you." She did not sound unkind, but she did not sound like she was joking. "If you need a job, you may deal blackjack or serve cocktails." Lilla employed many of the vampires in her coven, part-time in menial jobs until they either left town or proved themselves worthy of something more.

"If you need a place to stay, you may temporarily stay in one of the rooms here in the Labyrinth, or reserve a room in the hotel." She was checking things off as she ran through a list; all the information new Enashe were given when they showed up at the casino.

"If you are a member of my coven I expect you to uphold the rules and behave yourself. Do not cause trouble with any of the other covens, and do not touch mortal staff or patrons. You break any of these rules, you answer to me. Any questions?"

Luna Moon - June 22, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
Luna looked up at Lilla's face at her words. She listened to every one of Lilla's words, and when she was done she spoke. "No ma'am, but I do want to ask if a coven member can live in the residential areas in Demaitre." She watched Lilla for her answer, hoping she would allow her. If anything else Luna, needed soe space between people. She remembered past arrangements at other parts of the coven.

Lilla - June 25, 2008 03:14 PM (GMT)
"Then you do have a question. So why say you don't?" Lilla crossed her arms underneath her breasts and looked slightly displeased. She liked people to be clear and concise, she didn't like wavering.

"Yes, of course members can live in residential areas. Do you think everyone must live in their coven house? That would be crowded, and ridiculous. Members can live wherever they wish in the city. A few stay in the Labyrinth, but most have private homes elsewhere. They often come to the Ace High to socialize and hear what news we have, but some choose to not visit at all. This is also acceptable."

She uncrossed her arms to glance down at the silver men's watch she wore on her left wrist. "If you do decide to enter my employ, simply find one of the general managers and tell them I've hired you. They'll find you something to do. There are dark rooms further down the hallway; you may find an empty one to stay the night in. I doubt you'll be able to rent an apartment at this time of night. Is that all?"

Luna Moon - July 21, 2008 03:58 AM (GMT)
Luna looked at her feet. "Yes ma'am, that's all. Thank you for your time." Luna looked back up at Lilla and smiled thankfully, then turned and started retracing her steps though the Labyrinth. At every turn she would gently press her fingers to the wall and find out where she walked earlier. She walked slowly back to the entrance and smiled slightly on her way out.

((Sorry it took so long. I've been so busy with work.))
