So it wasn't quite what most people would call tea.... But it was there. The taste that was.
After all, full potency tea could make her ill.
With a smile Tatiana looked around at the people in the small restaurant, they all seemed so happy... Well most of them did anyway. There was a couple that was sitting quietly, a few booths away. The woman's head was hung slightly, her face downcast...
But what the matter was, she couldn't say really. Well she could, but she hated interfering with peoples lives. With the power she had... Any use of it on mortals was unfair. Even the weakest of her calls to a mortal would bring her prey to her begging and pleading.
But she turned her attention to the words that the young man was saying.
"Ash... It's just getting hard with everything going on now... I promise... It's not you..." She watched from the corner of her eye as the man took the woman's hand. "It really is me this time..."
"Unlike last time when there was another girl?" She said heatedly, looking up at him.
No... this was a personal matter. She couldn't interfere as much as she wanted to... She was no longer human... She no longer understood matters of the heart. It had been too long since her love had died she didn't know what this world did anymore. She had tried to find it... But found nothing. She could discern all the new technology of the world, but to understand love? It was too difficult.
