Title: A translator in the house?

Okay, I was thinking it would be kinda cool to have a character who's a Mail-Order-Bride who's kinda being abused and mistreated by the guy who bought her through this not so legit company. She signed up because her family is dirt poor and starving and she wanted to help them out.

The only thing is though, she wouldn't know much English.

I was either thinking of having her from China, Russia or the Ukraine, so I would need someone who knows Chinese, Russian or Ukranian (Granted if she was from the Ukraine, I could have her know Russian as well) to give her a bit of a helping hand.

Vampire or human doesn't really matter to me, male or female. But I was kind of hoping that someone's character 'knew' Chinese.

well Chi doesn't exactly speak Chinese, though she does seem fluent in a trillion of languages, though i suppose that she does know some form of that language and would probably be able to pick it up quite quickly. She's smart like that :) Though she does speak Russian and I think Ukrainian or one of the older forms of the language.
