Okay, so, this is actually a double-duty post. First, as the title suggests, would anyone be interested in doing a serial killer plot with me? I was thinking of something where the killer would, well, kill some folk and get a lot of media coverage (and a jazzycool name, like the Ice Truck Killer or the Blue Moon Butcher or something like that). There would be at least three POVs/characters. One, the killer. Two, the cops that're trying to catch him. Three, his latest victim. And, possibly, a fourth in the main reporter covering his story. Or three and four could be combined. If anyone's interested, I'd love for you to post. Plus, feedback would be awuseome.

The second part of this post is, if I'm in a thread with you and haven't replied for a while, please post here. I've probably forgotten where we were and I'm very sorry. (School + life in general = extremely scatterbrained Rommy.)

Hey Rommie! I'm really down for doing the Serial Killer plot!! I'm reading the Deathnote novel right now...and I'm in the mood for a serial killer. I'd be more than willing to do the serial killer or the victim. Doesn't matter to me!

Oh nevermind! I got the idea to bring back Kat. (thanks Buttons...) I'm promoting her to detective and she'll work the case with Livy!

Plus I had this charie running around in my head that can be the latest victim. Maybe if I NPC him he'll shut up.

*pushes Livy forward* She could be a random cop who sees him and starts to pursue and he either takes her just for fun to torture her and leave her for dead or something.

Or she can be a random victim. All I ask is that she's left slightly-alive for a turning :)

I give Hale for the serial killer. I don't know if it will be believable. He's a vampire and looks like a ten year old. It's up to you to decide...

Actually, I'd want the serial killer to be a human. A vampire that's running around killing people and leaving messages to the police (as serial killers inevitably do) would just be squelched by the Amman.

I'm down. Aspen's a writer, so she could be reporting it. It's been a while since she's worked for a newspaper, but she could use the distraction possibly or the steady job.

Or maybe I'll come up with a new character, since I'm not exactly sure where I left off with her- except that she was engaged.

And she's vampire so it would be more difficult for her to be a reporter- then again being around at night would possibly be more efficient. I don't know.

Ooooh, serial killers are funness squared. So, who wants to be who? I'm up for anyone, but I'd wanna either be the killer or the reporter covering the story... I guess Livy and Kat are gonna be the cops trying to catch Mr. S&K... anyone else wanna plaaaaaaay?

Oh, Aspen, if your title character's a vampire, then how would she respond to being stalked? I'm assuming she'd be sorta "Stalker? Pffft," 'cause I'd really like the killer to be a human. Human crimes are cool, plus, if it's a vampire there's nothing really unusual about it. And the Amman could just end things by imploding the killer's head. :)

Well Aspen is still a new vampire and terrified of the world around her. She still thinks like a human so being stalked would probably freak her out. Especially because she wouldn't know if it was human or vampire or what. Her powers aren't developed and she often forgets that she is no longer a weak human being.

Knowing her personality, she'd be pretty terrified.

Though she'd also likely say something to Cole- if he was around but since he is not being played by Middy at the moment- I could say he was out of town or something and tells her not to worry.

I suggested it in the thread itself. Livy thought of it actually... But I thought it was a good idea and it would make her getting to the whole 'about to die' thing that I want too! :-D

TO APPIE: So far--not much has happened. Johnny has killed two woman, presumably hookers, and left them in hotel rooms to be found by the cleaning staff. (Which raises interesting points like... are the police not investigating very thoroughly because the victims are prostitutes and possible interviews with the housekeeping staff memeber who found a body. :D Just a thought.) The first one he beat to death with a tire iron (iron at large) and the second he strangled. Both victims were raped before they were killed and the police has DNA but little else. No description or anything.

TO NIKKI: Actually, I wanted Johnny to start picking victims that are a little higher up the socio-economic ladder from hookers. I was thinking... maybe he goes to buy flowers for his wife (or something) and becomes fixated on the cashier, whom he stalks for a little while before doing the whole "RAWRKILL" thing. Whattaya say?
