Description: open

Nikolaos - January 30, 2008 09:40 PM (GMT)
The wind whipped her blonde hair back from her face as she scrambled across the street, a small white cane leading the way, though she barely needed it to get to school now. She knew the way.

The sensations of the bitter wind bit into her with an intensity that came with sharpened senses. Helena took in a sharp breath, instantly wishing she hadn't. The young girl winced, shutting her unseeing eyes as she stumbled upon the front school steps. She hurried up the stairs and under the roof's edge, rubbing her hands together as her cane fell out of her hands.
She was so cold.

Frozen actually.

The cold weather made her face flush. Finally, after what seemed like ages, Helena picked up her cane and slipped inside.
It was dark now. The sun had set long ago. Thank God her parents were out tonight- They'd never know....

Helena was failing chemistry and had asked if her teacher Professor McCoy would tutor her. She could only tutor Helena in the evenings- so that's what had to happen.
Helena couldn't possibly tell her parents she was failing. They'd freak out like they aways did, worrying and blowing things out of proportion. That's what they always did, what they always had done. Her parents had always used her blindness as a crutch. Well, Helena was sick of crutches. She wanted to be independant. She wanted to be- free of her parents. She wanted to be able to do what she pleased. She wanted to be strong, but could she?

The blonde teenager unraveled her gray scarf and took her matching wool hat off, letting her blonde bangs fall out with a flop. She took off her light blue bubble coat, faded to the color of her own blank eyes- and rubbed her hands on her jeaned legs- trying to create warmth.
She was so numb.

Helena left her clothes in a pile there by the door, in the main hallway. She even set her cane down too- not needing it now that she was in a familiar place. And who else would be in the school now besides she and Mrs. McCoy.
She started walking towards room 550, letting her hands slide along the walls as she walked, feeling for corners and familiar textures.
Her own footsteps were the only things she could hear, but she aquired a strange feeling as she turned into the next hallway- a feeling of apprehension- of anxiousness. And that was never good. Why?

Because Helena's gut was always right. Something was wrong.

Argen Surio - January 31, 2008 11:07 PM (GMT)
Argen loomed throughout the corridors of the school, stepping lightly across the cheaply made floor. Argen longed for information so he decided he would drop by the local house of learning, the nearest one to him just happened to be Matheson High School.
He walked slowly from room to room checking in on what just so happened to be in each of them, he came towards the science department and slipped into room 555, the number seemed alluring. It was a biology room, as a child living in Rome oh so many years ago he never had the luxury of going to school and fully understanding the human body, he was amazed by the model of an adult human he mirror where the organs in the model would be in relation to him even thou as a vampire most of these organs seized to exist.

Then after he finished in the room of Biology and moved on towards a Physics classroom he heard a sound, it would be a bother to leave and a second bother to have to kill someone, so he pulled of his coat, leaving only his black t-shirt and morphed his features to that of a seventeen year old boy. "Perfect" he slipped out of the room edging closer to the source of the noise he had heard, the only sound he made was the quiet steps of his feet against the floor.

Nikolaos - January 31, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
Helena's breathing quickened. Something was wrong. Someone else was here. Once again her enhanced senses plagued her. What was that? A noise? Was there a new smell on the air? Yes yes... there was a smell- the harsh scent of metal. Yes. Helena smelled it. What was going on?
"Professor?" she called out, finally arriving at her destination. "You here? No? Maybe she's late...." Helena spoke to herself.

She couldn't help but gasp and duck under a random science table as she heard footsteps outside. Dammit- why had she have to fail chemistry? Why did she have to be here? Why wasn't the footsteps familiar? She knew most people by their step- and those feet were not those of a professor.

Oh my God. What was happening here? A stranger? What was she to do. Fear flooded her body and she fought to keep her terrified breathing as she hid in the dark- her dark- her world.

Argen Surio - January 31, 2008 11:54 PM (GMT)
Argen sniffed , I female , he licked his lips he himself didnt like to target little girls for a meal, but he also wasnt one to pass up a good chance at one either. He heard her she seemed to notice him from so far away, maybe she was spooked by something else, but then he would have noticed aswell, regardless he continued.

He stopped out side a chemistry lab, and then he knew she was there so he slowly pushed open the door, a quick look around and the scent of fear filled his nostrils, he could see the girl ducked beneath the table. She either hadn't seen him was extremley brave, but judging from the look on her face he voted neither of them. He didnt speak willing to give away his location instead he glided across the floor steps so light and fast it seemed almost like levitation. He knew it was a sick thing to do and he was bored so he decided to see how far he could push this girl, she was young and quite attractive, if Argen was in the mood for something else he might have charmed her, so he moved slowly, very slowly until he was but a meter from her and then he blew, the breath left his mouth and hit her on her cheek, he waited for a response.

Nikolaos - February 1, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
She held her breath as he walked towards her. She could not see his feet but she could hear them. Coming closer, closer, closer.....

He exhaled, it was a he- but he sounded mature- like a twenty year old.
Suddenly a blow hit her face and she stumbled out from under the table. She had uttered a small cry of pain but nothing more. She ran towards the teacher's desk, fumbling for something to fight with.
This stranger- whoever the hell he was meant business. Her fingers danced across a pair of scissors and she stood, holding them out, focused on the noises he made, his breath- his steps.

"Who the hell are you?" She asked, focusing in on where he was and positioning her body to defend herself if he came at her again.

She didn't even bother to ask why he hit her. She just wanted to get out of here now- get home. To her parents. God, they were right about Demaitre at night!

Argen Surio - February 1, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
The girl had found her bearing and was clutching a weapon, it didn't bother Argen he just wanted to fuck with her no real plan for anything dangerous.

The words echoed from her mouth, who was he, he thought and then laughed.
"Ha."
Using his vampire speed within the next second was at the other end of the room, quickly and quietly that was his plan.
"Who you say?"
Once again he flitted, but this time behind her he raised his index finger, covered in a silver coat of varnish and stroked the back of her neck.
"I am but a student like you, here to learn"
before she could react he stepped out of her attack range and simply started to watch her, she was blind he deduced that explained it all, her sense of hearing much be improved as a compensation of her sight, much like that movie one of the guys in his gang back in New York had made him watch what was it called 'Da Red Evil or Daredevil or someshit." Not seeing him, he had to implore new tatics this was indeed a learning session for him. She interested him so he decided to watch what she would do next but first, he quickly locked the door, if breaking of the door handle counted as locking it, either way she couldn't leave .

Nikolaos - February 1, 2008 12:36 AM (GMT)
Helena twisted as he charged, swinging her scissors wildy, trying to stab him. But his finger was at her throat now. She swung with the scissors again and missed. How could he move so fast? How? Helena started to back into the corner of the room, edging her way towards the door.

click.

She was locked in. That was the lock. She heard it. So now, Now she was alone with this stranger- this intruder- this killer? She was going to die. Finally her parents worst fear would come to life- their little daughter... dead as a dornail- disobeying them- out at night.... and failing chemistry.
What a shitty way to die.

Helena backed into the corner so the intruder only had one attack path. She kept her scissors in hand and prepared to fight, listening hard. Obviously he didn't feel like talking. So she wouldn't either. She merely listened, catching a breath from a corner of the room. She did not look towards his direction, thinking he wouldn't notice that she noticed him.

Argen Surio - February 1, 2008 12:57 AM (GMT)
"Unfriendly I see, you ask who I am and you don't even have decency to say who you are" Argen spoke in a raspy voice that trailed through the room.

She had backed into the corner of the room, the fear was all over the room, was what he was doing evil, cruel perhaps, it didn't really bother him he was having fun. She was like a caged animal, humans had a tendancy when cornered to perform amazing things, Argen wanted to test her. He jumped and landed on a desk in the center of the room, he landed with a loud bang, he heard her startle and he smiled.

"Ill try talking again maybe this time you can hear me, that pathetic weapon will do you no good, I am the puppet master and you are my doll, the chains of fate that lead you hear are my strings to move you" Argen riddled on.

"So...so..." He motioned for her to answer him before he got angry rudeness was a something he could not tolerate.

Nikolaos - February 2, 2008 04:29 PM (GMT)
"You gave me no name- you don't deserve mine." she spat at him. Wow. She had never talked like that to anyone before. Perhaps life threatening situations brought out the fighter in the weak little blind girl.
She frowned. She'd be damned if her handicap killed her. But she didn't need to see- she heard him, felt him move through the room.
"You don't... smell- like a student" she said. "No traces of paper on your fingers- no smell of cafeteria food reeking off of your skin." she commented.
"So stop lying."

Puppet master. Well- she was no puppet. The least she could do for her parents- her parents who wanted so badly to protect her- was to die fighting. She wasn't going to let this slimeball take her down without a few cuts of her own. But who was he? And how had he gotten in the school?

He was in the center of the room. He was making so much noise. He knew she had sensitive hearing- so he wasn't bothering to hide his position. That meant he was strong. Well, that was bad for Helena, but maybe she could find a way to use his force against him. Maybe... She started to formulate a plan, keeping her ears open and waiting for the next strike, knuckles turning white as they clutched the blades.

Argen Surio - February 3, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
"Oh!" Argen recoiled. "I forgot to tell you my name, well I am Silver, and your wrong about me not being a student correct I don't go to your school, but I am still here to learn... About human anatomy" he said in a skin crawling manner.

Argen watched as she clutched the twin shanks of the scissors, but it would do her no good, she could slash hack and cut all she wanted the outcome would just be a perfectly healthy Argen just half naked with tattered clothes.
Argen could tell she could hear him yet he took no time to silence his movements or his actions, he wanted her to hear him, raise her fear, raise her courage and intensify her taste, oh yes he would feed from her in due time, but first he would examine.

Argen walked over to the young female and crouched down in front of her careful to be outside of striking distance, then he asked her two questions.
"Who do you think I am?" he waited then he asked his second. "Are you afraid of me?" he asked each with a genuine sense of curiosity and simply the urge to want to fuck with this little girl.

Nikolaos - February 3, 2008 06:05 PM (GMT)
She heard the bastard start to move and he rested just outside her arm's reach.
"I don't care who the fuck you are- leave me alone" she whispered before taking two steps and ripping the open scissors across an arm. She heard skin tear, but it wasn't that deep. Helena continued to cut whatever she could- making no attempt to run- the door was locked.

She was trapped.
But her fear had subsided. Now she was only pissed- and that anger drowned out every fear she had.

Helena kicked with one leg and felt her foot hit something hard- it was him- but he seemed stronger than a real human being. Maybe he wasn't human? He couldn't be- no one's skin was this tough- no one's bones that strong.

Helena moved quick for a young human girl, stretching a hand out to rake nails across a cold cheek. His face was so cold- like ice. She jumped back- retreating into the opposite corner, by the desk. She grabbed another pair of scissor and armed both hands.

Argen Surio - February 3, 2008 08:54 PM (GMT)
The girl jumped at him, and attacked him quite a few times, each time seeming more and more like a puppy trying to exert its dominance towards a wolf, it was futile, Argen laughed as the cuts healed, then looked down upto his ripped shirt a frown sweep across his face in the passing second it was gone.

Argen continually became more and more interesting in this girl, she had a fire in her that most humans lacked he deduced it came from being blind, having a handicap like that throughout life, changes your view of things, he chuckled at the irony 'changes your view' in his moment of distraction, she had armed herself with two pairs of scissors, was she joking, the poor quality steel could barely scare him. Argen was actually starting to get bored, it was shit or get of the pot time, then he thought would his hypnotizing work on her, as she couldn't see the pendant, nevermind that the pendant was just an accessory, the real power came from his head directly into that of his choosing.

Argen decided what to give someone who by how she moved had been blind for a very long time, he knew the perfect thing, Argen opened his eyes wide and the icy blue irises illuminated and he concentrated, in her head was so dark, but filled with sounds and scents, his plan was to implant visions, colors, pictures...Light! into the head filled with darkness. Argen knew it was a sick thing to do, he knew he shouldn't but he did he projected the image of himself into her head. The image began to form, tall, young and silver, Argen told the brain that of colours and textures making sure that being the only thing she saw, she indeed saw it. when it finished Argen didnt know it if had even worked, would placing an image in a room with no light still be seen, he stood and waited.

Nikolaos - February 3, 2008 10:42 PM (GMT)
She didn't understand the light in her eyes. A figure formed and it looked eerily like what she pictured a human to be. She shook her head- trying to shake the image. What the hell was he doing?
"What the fuck are you and who the hell's mother names them Silver?" she asked angrily. What was he doing? Why could she "see" him. What the hell was he doing? Panic flickered for only a moment before she rummaged through her emotions and found courage.

"Stop it. Do whatever the hell you came to do you sick bastard- whatever the hell you are- I'm blind! Take your damn light away!" It was beautiful- the colors she had never seen- never knew... It was wonderful adn she didn't want it, because if she lived- it would be dark once more.

Dark.

Argen Surio - February 3, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
Argen realized maybe this wasnt the best of things to do to a young girl, so he stopped she asked him to do what he came to do, yet she told him to stop what he was doing. Humans could never decide what they want so he decided he should feed and fuck off.

"I have shown you a glimpse of light and of beauty, hopefully you will desire it and crave it, knowing light and being thrust back into darkness, has rattled your heart and pained you reasoning, thus making your blood oh the more purer!"
Before she could respond to his prose he scooped her up, the blades driving into his stomach, he bared the pain and slide his fangs into her neck, he felt the warm saltly fluid of life slide into his mouth and out of her, she slowed and he finished held by shock.

Argen raised up and saw the girl, she was young and he had just tormented her, he would clear her mind of the meeting, but one problem occurred how to you replace the memories of one who couldn't see, so he decided to leave her, after all a blind girl claiming all of which happened tonight, would be seen as a cry for a attention maybe even drug abuse, so before he left, he spoke to her once more.

"I am the Silver Desire" and he placed his index finger on her forehead and filled it with the feeling of euphoria and the brash stain of silver filled her mind as he slipped away, it was his trademark.

With a thud and a crack he was gone.

Nikolaos - February 3, 2008 11:17 PM (GMT)
Helena felt him rush her after rambling on like a drunk. She thrust her scissors into his body as hard as she could and opened them, twisting them to enflict as much damage possible- She pushed them into his body and let go- feeling fangs pierce her neck.

"What the-?" she murmured before biting ehr lips fighting not to scream. It hurt- she could feel- blood- rushing out of her body... he was- he was- she didn't know... what had teeth that sharp?
The pain subsides as he said something but she didn't know what it was- she had lost too much blood. She was falling into darkness again- a strange color sweeping over her eyes. There was a crack and she heard him no more. She fell upon the floor, unconscious and unable to wake until her bones had made more red blood cells. She would wake- she wasn't dying.

Poor thing.
