Title: Nothing is What it Seems
Description: For Button's Angel and open
Darkasian - January 28, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
It had been a little more than a week since Jenny moved to Demaitre with Angel, and she already met a couple of girls that she could stand at the university. So they decided to head to a nightclub. She was dressed in a black tanktop and matching jeans with calf high boots. A black leather jacket finished off the outfit and she was ready to go out. She already passed it by Angel, and he was fine as long as she was back by midnight. It was tough for both of them, since they loved each other, and were kind of experimenting with a few things in bed, but she managed to get his approval.
Of course she was driving so she wasn't going to touch even a drop of alcohol, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to party with the other girls. It was six by the time they started going to their destination. Her friend said it was a club called The Sinister Puppet. For some reason it sounded familiar, but she couldn't remember where she heard it before. Maybe it'd come back to her when they got there.
The first thing that should've gotten her to turn around was the fact that it was in a pretty sketchy part of the city. Of course she was trusting her friend's judgement, and also she was pretty good at defending herself. The second thing that should've raised up all of her alarms was the faint smell of death. She shook it off thinking it was something else, there was probably a dump somewhere.
Entering the nightclub she realized that the nightclub wasn't your run of the mill nightclub. Bodies were hanging from the ceiling. Some of them looked quite real, and there was still that smell of death and decay, though it was covered by the smell of alcohol and musk. Jenny was starting to get a bad feeling about it, and wished she had some kind of weapon on her. It didn't really mean anything to vampires, but it would've made her feel better.
There was something familiar about the smell of some of the people in the nightclub. She was around Angel all the time so her nose was able to catch a subtle difference in smell. It wasn't a truly noticeable difference, but she could tell. "Hey Kelcey...I don't feel comfortable here." She said looking around the crowd and meeting eyes that were staring back at her and her friend. "I think it's best if we leave."
Kelcey, her friend, was dressed in all black like her, but she wore a tight blouse and a mini-skirt. "Come on Jenny you're just being paranoid." She grinned and started moving further into the crowd.
If only everyone was as knowledgeable as Jenny was. It'd make things so much easier. "Kelcey wait!" Someone blocked her path and Jenny looked up into the face of a tall pale man. Probably a good foot and a half taller than her, and the paleness wasn't from lack of sunlight. After seeing Angel with another human it was easy to tell the difference, but only when they were close. "Excuse me."
She tried to push past the guy, but he stopped her. She could smell blood on his breath. "Come on baby...you want to have some fun?"
Jenny looked into his eyes and shook her head. "Sorry not interested." She went to push him out of her way, but he grabbed her wrist, and squeezed just enough to let her know that he could've snapped her wrist in two if he wanted. Fucking vampires.
"Now if you don't behave yourself my friend over there'll have to do some nasty things to your friend." He moved just enough to show that a second vampire had Kelcey.
"Fuck you." She struggled for a second, and saw the other vamp snake a hand just enough to be able to snap Kelcey's neck. That made her think for a second. She wasn't strong enough to break free from the guy's grip and get to Kelcey in time to stop him from snapping the other girl's neck. "Alright let her go and you can have your fun with me." She said looking at the vamp. Jenny was starting to really regret coming to the club.
"Alright baby, then follow me." They started walking towards the back where there was a door leading to private rooms, just in case people wanted a little alone time.
Romax - January 29, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
Ferox was feeling bored. Hardly a cause for alarm. The ancient had dealt with periods of boredom before and Demaitre, bustling city that it was, had plenty to offer to snap him out of it. After some debate, he had decided that it was excitement he was craving, the sort that was slicked with blood.
What better place to find that than the Sinister Puppet?
While Ferox was no great fan of the Tarepha, much too inelegant for his tastes, one could readily admit they knew how to throw a party. Death had a scent all its own, he reflected as he stepped inside and it washed over him, duller somehow than blood and not as sweet--still, it was a singular aroma and not altogether bad. Rot and decay, blood and fear.
Delicious, almost.
His nostrils flared as he moved through the surging bodies of vampires and their oh-so-willing prey, drawing the scents in like one might a particularly intoxicating liquor--slowly. It would be easy to inebriate oneself on the power of that alone, but Ferox had too much control for that.
In a place such as the Puppet, it wasn't unusual to see a young woman lapping at the blood on a young man's neck. The only thing out of the ordinary was that the man was the vampire. Ferox passed them with a slight smile, then brushed close enough to another vampire/human pair to hear the words exchanged between the two. His smile widened. The vampire used a tactic Ferox was rather fond of himself. An old adage, if you want the doe, you go after the fawn.
Because he was, at the heart, a troublemaker, Ferox stepped in, placing one possessive hand on Jenny's shoulder. "Aren't you a brave one?" he murmured in her ear, his deep grey eyes moving to the hulking vampire who held her. The difference in size between himself and the younger, and he was a great many years younger, made no difference to the Ishak. Ferox's voice was chastising as he smiled at the other vampire and said, "Now, now, this one is owned. Can't you smell it?"
PushMyButtons - January 29, 2008 01:23 AM (GMT)
And her owner was in one of the other rooms currently.
Yes he fed from her... Yes he loved her. But she was still too delicate to be a lover of his. Oh he wanted her to be, and it was her face that Angelus saw as he listened to the gasps of the girl beneath him. He had chosen her because of her looks... Small, petite, she was the same type as Jenny.
And well... Call it practice, but he wasn't feeding from the girl, holding himself back, keeping his fangs from her flesh even as he kissed over her skin.
He'd gotten here maybe half an hour ago and after finding the girl, waisted no time. Jenny... She was so prevalent in his mind that Angelus could swear that he smelt her, that he heard her gasps...
"Let me on top baby... Let me ride you..." The girl whispered. Even that was like Jenny.
"Then make me come baby. Lemme see what you got." He growled as he rolled over, the girl on top now.....
((Yes yes, just establishing that Angelus is in da house!))
Darkasian - January 29, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
Jenny was definitely not in the mood for any other surprises, but yet another showed up in the image of another vampire. She looked at him as he draped himself on her and she gasped at the feeling. It was like her skin wanted to crawl off her body and get as far away from this one as much as possible. "You looking for a quick bite too?" She asked defiantly staring at those grey eyes. The look in them was much older than even Angel's and it scared her. She knew that the Amman and the Tarepha usually avoided each other so she guessed that he belonged to either the Tarepha like the younger guy or maybe the Ishak. She wasn't good enough to tell which one.
"Who the fuck are you?" The other vampire stared at the one who just appeared. "What?" The vampire sniffed Jenny and snorted. "Fuck..." He let her go. "Guess I'll have to settle for her." He said with a sigh. It was clear which one he was talking about.
"No you won't lay a finger on her." Jenny said shrugging off the older vamp and standing in the way of the other. "She's mine so you touch her and I'll fucking kill you."
This brought a trickle of laughter from the other vampire. "Are you serious?" He smiled from ear to ear. "You can't even hurt me, and you're threatening to kill me?" It was all quite hilarious to the vampire, but Jenny was going to keep her word one way or another. She always kept her word.
"Want to test that theory you son of a bitch?"
Romax - January 29, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
Ferox only smiled, infuriatingly, at Jenny's defiant eyes. "So much for chivalry," he sighed, tucking his hand into the pocket of his battered leather jacket. Not his usual attire, but when in Rome... his lips curved as the saying occurred to him.
Unobtrusively, he shifted so that he caught more of the younger vampire's attention than she did as they cursed at each other. Dryly, Ferox touched her arm in a calming gesture as he said, "I'm sure Kelcey would appreciate your own chivalry, dear, but don't make promises you can't keep."
Then he smiled at the Tarepha again, stating, "Not that it matters anyway." This time when the ancient spoke, it was directed at the young vampire, who stared at him belligerently. Ferox held his eyes for a long moment. The younger realized that something wasn't entirely what he was anticipating, but before he could break the eye contact, his face suddenly went slack.
"Too easy," Ferox said to himself, watching as the man abruptly turned from them and strode towards his friend. The big vampire lifted a hand and, without a word, rammed a fist into the other's face.
Darkasian - January 29, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
The smile only pissed her off even more. With a sigh she shrugged. "Chivalries dead." She said under her breath. He did look nice, but she didn't feel the same way as she did with Angel. "You find something funny?" She didn't like the smile at all, but if he was saving her ass she didn't have much to complain about, though it didn't stop her from being suspicious of him.
"Damn it!" She looked at him, and sighed. Stupid vampiric powers. "When I give my word then I plan on keeping it." Jenny sighed people always thought that she couldn't keep her word. Well vampires were kind of an exception to that rule.
Jenny watched in astonishment as the vampire walked away and punched the other. She was shocked for a moment, but then she knew what to do. "Kelcey come over here!" She waved the girl over. "Thanks..." She said to the vampire with a sigh. Jenny didn't trust the vampire anymore than she could throw him, but he had her gratitude.
"Do you want anything in return for this?" She asked expecting him to say he did.
Romax - January 29, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
"Is it, then?" Ferox asked, obviously amused by Jenny's assertion concerning chivalry these days--or lack thereof. He smiled a little. "There's a shame." Chivalry had never existed, in his opinion, at least not how thought of it. But then, he was rather a cynical bastard so his opinion on the subject didn't count for much.
He raised an eyebrow as she spoke again. Fiery. "No doubt you do. But plans have that irritating way of getting derailed, you see..." Ferox left his sentence hanging, shifting to watch as the girl's friend skittered away from the vampire that had just been treated to a sloppy right cross.
"Why, you're welcome." He smiled again, in that way he had where you couldn't tell if he was mocking you or not. One of his more irritating habits, to be sure. "Ah, yes, reimbursement. How about you let me buy you a drink?" Ferox grinned again. "And stick around while you drink it?"
Darkasian - January 29, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
Jenny chuckled at the vampire's comment about chivalry being dead. "The world's one big shame." She said with a sigh. Well there were words for the vampire that Jenny wished to say, but she kept them to herself. Most of them included a whole lot of inappropriate words.
"Yeah plans usually have the bad habit of getting F.U.B.A.R." Yup a lot of plans of her's almost always got f.u.b.a.r. nowadays. Yup...gotta love f.u.b.a.r., fucku beyond all recognition.
Jenny looked at the vampire and had an urge to punch him in the face but held herself back. Then again now that she thought about it, she didn't know whether to blush, punch him, or kiss him. Damn all this confusion. Lust didn't make things easy at all.
"As long as that drink doesn't contain alcohol. I'm the designated driver." She said smirking at him. A part of her mind wondered what he looked like underneath his clothes. It wasn't a big part of what she was thinking, but it was still there like a gnat. "After you." She said waiting for him to lead. "There's no way in hell I'm letting you out of my sight, even though I do appreciate you being the knight in shining armor and all." She said with a sigh.
Romax - January 30, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
"She's cute and responsible." Humorously, Ferox laid a hand on his heart as he moved towards the bar. "Slap me, I'm in love." He laughed, then held the hand up. "Actually, please don't," he amended, leaning on the bar as he ordered her a Virgin Mary and a bottle of beer for himself. His grey eyes returned to her as it was being mixed. "Brave too. Personally, if I had to worry about such things, I don't think I would trust the drinks here unless they had a good dose of alcohol in them."
At her comment concerning knights and their shiny armor, Ferox laughed again, obviously amused. He plucked at his black leather jacket as he glanced down at his worn jeans and scarred boots. "My armor appears to be a little dented, I'm afraid."
"So," Ferox began, passing her the Virgin Mary and twisting the cap off of his bottle, "why don't you sit? This gentleman was just leaving." As he spoke said gentleman, a bald-head biker type, did indeed abruptly stand and wander away. Ferox patted the just-vacated seat.
"No offense, but I have to ask, why the Puppet? You don't seem the typical clientèle," he asked curiously, taking a sip of his beer.
Darkasian - January 30, 2008 03:06 AM (GMT)
Jenny smirked and joined in the laughing. "Yeah I wasn't raised a fool." She said her smirk turning into a grin. "Awww...and I was hoping to get to slap you." With a sigh of mock disappointment. "It's always fun gambling with that stuff." She leaned against the bar, and watched the bartender mix her Virgin Mary.
"Oh I like my knights a little beaten up." She said with a wink. Lust always brought out her playful side. "Knights in shining armor are mostly pussies anyway." She grinned widely and took the Virgin Mary from him.
Jenny shook her head and let out a sigh. "Why thank you." She took the seat and sighed. It was still warm. "Why the Puppet?" Jenny shook her drink and took a sip. "Kelcey heard of it, and we wanted to go. I didn't know that it was a hangout for the vamps."
Kelcey was still kind of close looking around. "Hey Kelcey." She handed the girl her car keys. "Go into the car and lock the doors. If anyone starts heading towards you get out of here." Jenny watched as the girl left and sighed. "Sometimes I just hate it when plans go to shit." Taking another sip Jenny shook her head. It wasn't that bad. "So what's the name of my knight?" Jenny met those gray eyes and evil thoughts were creeping in her mind. Some of them included handcuffs and lots of leather.
Romax - January 30, 2008 05:54 PM (GMT)
Ferox matched her smirk with one of his own. "I figured you would," he replied, toasting her with his bottle. "But it wouldn't have been particularly fun for me, so there you go."
He laughed at her comment about the true nature of knights in shining armor. "Are they really?" Ferox asked with a raised eyebrow as he took another swallow of his beer. "Have you met any, personally?" It wasn't impossible, after all--Ferox was a former legionary.
"A hangout?" Ferox gestured at the mixed crowd of vampires and humans. "More like a nest, really. As far as I know, the Tarepha aren't too shy about letting the humans know who run the place in any case, though it's enough of a rumor to keep the Amman from coming down on them."
He watched the other girl go. Probably a wise idea for her, though she was lucky no hungry vampires caught her on her way out. "Hardly a knight at all," Ferox said lightly, shrugging as he added, "Ferox. Or Felix if you prefer."
Darkasian - January 30, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
"I haven't met any real knights before, but reading the stories..." She shrugged. "I figured that they were spoiled rich brats with swords." Well it was mostly true. The knights during the medieval era were mostly from rich families. "Knights in shining armor are just...pussies with a sword in their hand." She said taking a quote from Shoot 'Em Up. She watched it with Angel once. He wasn't a fan of it, but she loved it.
Jenny looked at Ferox and nodded. "If I knew that this was a Tarepha nest then I would've brought Kelcey to one of the other nightclubs. After I read the advertisement for this place I thought they were mostly vampire wannabees. Just goes to show ya how wrong I was." Sipping her drink she sighed. "Well it's a pretty damned good business here. You get the emos plus the believers. The vamps get a drink and the humans get to blow their money here." Plus if the existence of vampires ever went public then the Tarepha would be two steps in front of everyone else.
"Ferox?" She said it trying to get a feel for it. "It has a nice sound to it. You already know my name...you cheat." Jenny grinned at him. She wondered whether or not he was wearing anything underneath his jeans. "That drink is still up for grabs if you want it." Lust was a beautiful thing. Her body craved to feel another vampire's fangs in her. To feel how he'd rip her apart. Sometimes she hated being a masochist.
Romax - February 4, 2008 05:28 PM (GMT)
Ferox took a moment before he laughed. "You'd be surprised, I think," he said, smiling. "They were only rich because the rich were the ones who could afford the price of armor and weaponry. But they were as violent as anybody else," he paused and smiled thinly again, "except for the real pussies that believed the shit about chivalry." He snorted and took a sip of beer, "There's a romantic notion. Knights were just men. The idea that they were noble and upstanding... as much a fairy-tale as Disney ever wrote."
Following the subject change rather smoothly, Ferox shrugged a little. "Well, they can't make it sound like much else, can they? The Amman will come down on them if they make it too authentic sounding. But you are right about how the business works out. A few Tarepha get a little too frisky... well, the rumors of a disappearance or two just helps with the mystique."
Seemingly amused, Ferox drained his bottle and tapped a finger on the bar for another as Jenny commented on his name. "Thanks," he replied. It had been a while since he'd gone by his real name. It would have stuck out a few years back, but these days odd names were 'in'.
"I always want it," Ferox murmured, playfully leaning forward until his lips brushed her ear.
Darkasian - February 4, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
Jenny grinned as Ferox told her about the nights of old. "All the knights I've seen are the pussies who believe in chivalry. Damn Hollywood for not showing knights as they should be." Most of her experience was watching movies, and from history class. Not exactly the best way to get a good image of knights. "To think that all knights were like Sir Galahad." She chuckled and took a sip of her drink. Damn being the designated driver. If she wasn't she'd have a beer or two. She was a little shaken up by it, but she didn't show it. She was as much a warrior as Angel.
"Of course. It's natural for people to be attracted to things that're dangerous." She said looking at Ferox. Was it the feeling of danger? Probably. He was the only other vampire that caught her attention other than Angel. It was probably lust, and the fact that her body was craving for someone to just rip into her. If she was going to explain it to Angel, then she had to make sure that she kept herself and Ferox in check.
"As long as you promise not to take too much I'll be a willing donor." She smiled as his lips brushed her ear. "Don't get me wrong, but I want to be conscious enough to drive. It'd be a terrible shame if I got into an accident after being saved by you." Pushing her hair off to the side to reveal her neck Jenny set her drink on the bar. "Hmmm...somewhere else would be more suitable wouldn't it?" She wanted to see what was underneath his clothes. Or maybe she wanted a little bit of a comparison between Angel and Ferox.
Romax - February 6, 2008 04:38 AM (GMT)
"Perhaps you should give me your hankie and I'll use it as my standard. Have a bit of Hollywood," Ferox mused. He was, sometimes, a bit of an odd duck, with his ever-amused outlook on the world and the slightly random ideas. If you asked him about it, he'd probably just tell you he was a touch mad, though whether he was or not depended on your point of view.
In any case, he could seem completely tame, such as now. If not for the age on him, Ferox would seem little more than a young goofball of a vampire. Harmless. After all, what had he done but joke and jibe in an easygoing, laidback sort of way? A man who smiled as easily as he did, whose eyes were as mild, well, certainly he's no threat.
Right.
Taking her invitation, Ferox leaned in, touching his teeth, not his fangs, to the skin she bared. "Terrible shame," he agreed, "a car accident would be so messy. And painful. Shattered windows. Bent metal. Broken bones." Lightly, very lightly, he punctuated his words with a gentle tease of the creamy flesh with his teeth, one hand intimately skating down her arm.
Smiling, the difference between this smile and his others as sharp as black and white, Ferox turned his head so that his lips whispered against her ear once more. "After you, my dear," he invited.
Darkasian - February 6, 2008 03:16 PM (GMT)
Jenny laughed as Ferox spoke. "Sorry I forgot mine at home." She said with a chuckle. She had a pretty good opinion of who was mad and who wasn't, but she didn't think that he was. No if she was to put it into words she'd say that he was like her, cynical, okay maybe a little eccentric.
She'd been around plenty of vampires to know not to judge a book by its cover. She knew that Ferox was dangerous, that he wasn't all goofball. Vampires were dangerous no matter how young they were. Hell the younger ones were more dangerous since they don't have much control over their bloodlust. Then again the older ones had powers that she could only dream of.
Jenny shivered as his teeth touched her skin. She wanted him to rip her apart right there, but it wouldn't be good to reveal him as a vampire when there were a couple of mortals around. "Things that you can heal from, but we mere mortals need help to." Yeah if Ferox was in a car accident he'd heal by himself, but she'd need to go to the hospital, get stitches and whatnot. A slight moan escaped her lips as he teased her. The touch of his arm was almost as good as the touch of his teeth on her neck.
Jenny finished off her drink, and sighed listening to Ferox. "I don't know the way as well as you do. So after you." She said looking at him. Yeah her body lusted to feel his fangs rip into her.
Romax - February 18, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
“There’s a shame,” Ferox mumbled against the girl’s smooth, warm skin, his thin lips cool in contrast. The urge to take her there, to sink his fangs in and drain her of every silky drop of blood burned inside of him with a furious hunger. That hunger was seductive, a whisper in his ear that told him to damn the consequences and feed until her life fled her empty body.
But he hadn’t lived as long as he had by letting his hungers dictate his actions.
Control was a necessary thing. Ferox had it in spades. Pulling back, he smiled, not even a flicker of that gnawing hunger touching his expression. “As you like,” he said softly, almost too softly to be heard over the thrum of heavy music. Dropping money on the bar for the drinks, his hand closed around her wrist, tugging her along as he effortlessly weaved his way through the crowd, towards the rooms where the much younger vampire had tried to force her.
His manner was easy, relaxed as he opened one of them, as the hall light dimly petered in. As any room where people went for a quick fuck, it was sparsely furnished and dominated by the bed. The nightstand beside it was stocked with condoms for any human customers.
As he tugged her inside, his demeanor changed as his mouth landed hard on hers, as he pushed her back against the door. Likely there’d be bruises. But that was the tone he wanted, swift and rough. Ferox jerked her head backwards by fisting a hand in her hair, his fangs sliding down to scrape at her neck.
Darkasian - February 18, 2008 06:02 PM (GMT)
Jenny laughed as he said it was a shame. His cool lips against her neck made her shiver in anticipation. Yeah it was going to be a fun time with him. Angel flashed through her mind, but she knew that he would understand. She loved him from the depths of her heart, and this was purely superficial. A one night stand for her and him. They both knew it wasn't anything more than that. It wouldn't go any further than this night.
She followed Ferox as he led her through the crowd. She had a harder time navigating through the crowd, but managed to not fall or anything. She followed him into the rooms that the club had for quick fucks. As he tugged her inside she grinned.
As soon as she passed the threshold everything about him changed as he kissed her roughly. She returned the rough kiss and let out a small sigh as Ferox pushed her against the door. She'd have a few bruises, but it wasn't that bad. Then she smiled and groaned at the feeling of his fangs scraping her neck. Yup she was a masochist, the rougher the better for her. She kissed at his neck and her hands searched the jacket feeling the worn leather.
Romax - February 21, 2008 12:41 AM (GMT)
Two thousand years and the hunger still came to him as sharp as it had the day he'd been turned. Ferocious hunger. Seductive hunger. It leapt like a dog, clamping jaws around his mind rather than his throat until it was if his every thought dripped red.
This hunger was like a sword cleaving him neatly in two. He wanted the girl's sweet, syrupy blood, but he wanted her body as well. For him to have the latter, he needed to restrain himself as he took the former. It was with no little regret as Ferox held back, parting the flesh of her shoulder only shallowly so that the blood eked rather than poured.
He felt her hands skipping over him and impatiently shrugged out of the jacket to reveal a plain shirt beneath. But he'd leave that much to her, Ferox decided, his own hands busily pulling at her shirt, his hand closing hard over her small breast.
Not nearly as elegant as he typically liked to be.
Darkasian - February 21, 2008 01:27 AM (GMT)
Jenny sighed as she felt Ferox bite her, but only a little bit. She wanted him to rip into her, to ravage her body, but she held back. No she needed to drive home.
Then he took off his jacket, and she worked to remove his shirt as he worked to remove her's. She helped him the rest of the way and kissed him hungrily. She let out a groan as he squeezed her small breast.
Her hands got his t-shirt off and she threw it off to the side. "God..." Her hands worked at his chest exploring every muscle of his upper body.
She closed her eyes and pushed from the door working to remove his pants. Screw trying to make nothing of it...she was a virgin, but she didn't care. She just wanted him. She kissed aggressively at his neck and shoulder.
PushMyButtons - February 21, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
Angelus sighed, running a hand through his hair as he closed the door to the room he had used. The girl was sleeping peacefully, and he'd make sure that someone saw to her once she woke.
Buttoning up his shirt he made his way down the hall, to the steps where one scent from hundreds made it's way to his nose.
"Jenny?" He muttered, frowning deeply. What... What was she doing here? How had she gotten here, and why had she come up to the private rooms. There was only one thing that she would have come up here for, perhaps two... But he'd be damn if he'd let any other vampire touch her... Let alone feed from her blood or her body. Those belonged solely to him.
He gave a deep growl as he came to the end of her scent, came to a door where more scents, hungry and eager, clawed at him.
One was a vampire... And if he were younger, oh, he'd never touch another woman... Never look at one again.
Not bothering with the knob, he gave the door a light kick, breaking the wood on the side of the handle that held it shut. And there she was, wrapped in the arms of another vampire, his fangs in her neck and his shirt off.
But no.
He was not the only guilty one here. Her hands were at his pants, and rather eagerly working to get them off.
His eyes flashed with fury, but the other vampire was older... Probably stronger. To pull her away could cause problems for the both of them. And it didn't much seem like she would want to be pulled away. His daughter... His darling... Just a common whore? Surely she hadn't known this vampire more than a few hours... And here she was, throwing herself at him.
"Stupid girl..." He growled harshly. But there was nothing he could do.
Turning his back to her he left the room, slamming the door behind him. If she reeked of this vampire... Wanted him more... Then let her. It was her choice, so she could do as she pleased. If only the vampire were younger.... Then he could have mae a fine example of him.
Darkasian - February 21, 2008 02:33 AM (GMT)
Jenny had worked the button of Ferox's pants off when the door was suddenly kicked in. She turned and was horrified to see Angel. "Angel!" She let go of Ferox and looking for her shirt and jacket. "I'm sorry Ferox... Angel wait!" She ran out of the room after her father and lover.
Jenny ran into the hallway and followed Angel. "Angel! Ferox saved me from some dumbass vampire..." She grabbed his arm, and stopped him. "Angel...he saved me earlier, and I wanted to pay him back..." She held onto Angel and kept herself from crying. No she wouldn't cry. "It was supposed to be a small bite, but...it just became more...The bite...it does something to me...I...I know it's no excuse, but..."
PushMyButtons - February 21, 2008 03:16 AM (GMT)
Stop him? Angelus only paused for a second as he grabbed her arm, simply out of surprise. He brushed of the girl, glaring at her with anger. He listened to her, but only out of habit.
"Saved you? What the hell were you doing here in the first place!" He growled. "You should have left the moment you noticed the vampires! I thought you would have had more sense. Stupid girl..." He began to walk away again, once more towards the steps.
"Did you never once think that he would kill you?! Never once think that he saved you only to take your life for himself?" He turned on her as she tried to defend herself. "I thought you would have had more sense Jennifer. I thought I raised you better... Better than that." He nearly spat the last word.
Didn't she realize how betrayed he felt? How hurt he was that she would give herself to a man... A man she didn't even know? Angelus thought that he'd taught her how to control her emotions, her desires. Apparently, he had failed. "If you want him... That's your choice, I won't stop you from what you want... And I can't stop him. It's on you alone if you want to be a vampire's whore or not." He said coolly as he turned away again, heading once more down the stairs.

Jenny looked at Angel, and knew that she had fucked up big time. "My friend wanted to go clubbing...she suggested this place...I didn't expect it to be a vampire den!" She said doing her best to stay composed. "I would've if some bastard vampire didn't grab her...As soon as I saw the vampires I would've left..." She really would've left, but with her friend in danger...she wouldn't have left her friend to die, then again she would've died instead. Not exactly better. "Angel...My friend was in danger. What did you expect me to do in that situation!?"
"I trusted Ferox...I trusted him not to kill me." She looked away from Angel. "I did think he'd kill me...but...I had this feeling..." Jenny had a bad habit of trusting her gut. "Angel...I gave into my lust...I know I fucked up...I'm truly sorry." She looked at him sadly.
"Angel..." Every word hurt her, but she knew it was true. She wanted Ferox, maybe not like Angel, but she wanted him none the less. It scared her. "Angel..." She reacted quite negatively to his comment about her being a vampire's whore. She grabbed his arm turned him around and slapped him across the face pretty hard. "Angel...I don't want him...not like I want you." She said glaring at him. "I will never want anyone like I want you." Sadness could easily be seen in her eyes. "Angel..." She wrung her shirt in her hands. "I love you more than anyone...I belong to no one but you."
PushMyButtons - February 22, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)
"You should have left with her." He said simply.
The had across his face barely registered. It had been hard, yes. But pain meant nothing to him, and he was far more occupied with the feeling of betrayal twisting in his gut.
"Don't give me that Jennifer." He growled slightly. "You don't want him? You didn't want to let him bite you, or touch you like that? You wanted it... And you still want it now!" Her face didn't move him. How could it when he'd seen all of her expressions before. Besides... This act was far worse than any else she could have done.
"I thought I raised you better Jennifer... I thought I taught you how to be in control of your own body, how to keep a level head. I thought you knew how much you mean to me. But to see that you would give your body away so freely? That you let any vampire drink from you as you see fit? Do you not know how that hurts me? Can't you see how you've betrayed the love you claim to have for me?"
He turned away to head back down the steps.
"Make your choice now... If you think he could love you, care for you as I have... So be it... Let me know if you will need help packing." He said causally. "Or leave this place and go home now, and swear that you will never... Ever come back here." The choice given he moved down the steps, hoping that she really did love him and would do as he said, leaving the club and never coming back.

OOC: Tossing Ferple in because, um, he's having a blast.
Ferox sensed the intrusion a moment before it happened. How could he not? The sudden anger had burst into his senses like a... like a water balloon, saturating his mind with the force of it. Somebody, Ferox thought, was pissed. He had no idea why that made him suddenly so happy, but it did, right before the door was kicked in.
"Whoa, there, bucko," Ferox said, eying the now splintered wood. "I don't think they're gonna want to pay for that," he added, speaking of the Tarepha management. Then again, they were probably used to some damage on premises, considering the business.
Lazily, in contrast to Jenny's hurried motions, he rebuttoned his jeans and shrugged back into his jacket. His shirt still gapped open, however, as he followed her out into the hall, the grotesque network of scars on his torso contorting with his every movement. "If it's any consolation," Ferox said towards the man, "I really didn't have any plans to kill her."
He began to button up his shirt. "Not that I'm the expert on relationship type stuff, but what I find funny is that she's not allowed to sleep with/be fed from anybody but you, even though you're the next room over doing the tango with a bottle-blond." The vampire grinned a little at the thought. "Have to admit, though, the surgeon who made that chick's chest ought to be canonized." Ferox shrugged. "But, still, good for the gander, good for the goose, right? Or however it goes."

"I know I should've Angel, but I didn't." She looked away from him not being able to meet his eyes. She noticed Ferox, but didn't look at him either. Now was the time that she felt embarrassed and quite quite QUITE miserable. She knew that she had fucked up, and that he deserved to say everything that he did. No she wouldn't cry, but she wouldn't let him get away with calling her a whore.
"That's not what I'm saying Angel! I do want him, but I don't want him like I want you...My want for him is different than my want for you." She wanted him to understand. To her Ferox was a one night stand at best. Angel...she loved him with every fiber of her body. "Angel I love you..." She turned to Ferox. "I don't love Ferox."
"Angel...since you bi me that night it's been harder for me to control my urges." She got the courage to look at Angel. "Angel..." Then Ferox piped in. "Ferox please. I don't think it'll make the situation better." She said with a sigh. This was a horrible situation. She also had the sudden urge to find the girl Angel had been with and kill her, but then again it was the same way he felt seeing her with Ferox. It'd be quite hypocritical of her to complain about that. "Ferox helped me..." The words sounded fake coming out, and she knew that it wasn't true. It was more she wanted a quick fuck. "I do see it now Angel." She said calmly though she wanted to run away, run as fast as she could away from there.
Then the ultimatum. It didn't take an ultimatum to tell her what she wanted to do. "Alright Angel." She put her jacket on and turned to Ferox. "Thanks for saving me." She said with a small smile before turning to follow Angel. She wouldn't come back to the place ever again. "Angel wait up!" She called as she ran up the stairs after him. "I swear I won't return to here Angel...Can I get a ride back? My friend probably left without me." She knew that it'd take a while to make up for this.

"No." Angelus snapped as the other vampire spoke. "It doesn't ease my mind that you wouldn't kill her. You still dared to touch her when it was clear she was already claimed." He said glaring at the older vampire.
But he looked back at Jenny, frowning slightly. "Do you have any idea what you want? You don't understand what he, or another vampire, could do to you. He doesn't have to kill you to make you want death."
But his words trailed off and his eyes were drawn back to the other vampire again. "Ferox is it? I know full well what I was doing, and why I was doing it. As did the girl I was with." He said with a cold glare. "Jenny may know of vampires, but she is still a child, my child, and I have refused to expose her to this sort." Because he knew it would have been safer until after she was turned.
"I have my reasons for being with the woman, but I hardly feel that I have to account for my actions to you." He said shortly before turning away again. He was relieved when Jenny followed him down the steps towards the club exit, but he said nothing. He had nothing to say, no need to speak. Well, until she asked her question.
"Ride? No you can't. Because I didn't drive here. I walked. But you may walk with me if you wish..." He said quietly.
Darkasian - February 24, 2008 05:05 AM (GMT)
Jenny looked away from Angel as he asked if she even knew what she wanted. She knew what her body wanted, her body wanted to be ravaged, to be ripped apart, but she didn't know what she wanted. She knew that vampires could do other things than kill her. She knew that vampires were dangerous, but for a moment she didn't care. She was scared of herself, at how easily she wanted him to ravage her.
She listened as Angel told Ferox that he knew exactly what he was doing. Now Jenny felt like an idiot being jealous. If it was for him to control himself then she wasn't one to complain at all. She felt stupid for doubting Angel, and made her feel even worse about what she was doing with Ferox. Go figure. Plus knowing how he didn't want to reveal her to this sort of thing...kind of defeated the purpose.
Jenny walked with Angel and nodded as he said that he walked. "Alright." She said matching his walk and wrapped herself around his arm. The Lancer was gone so she'd probably find it back at the townhouse. Her friend knew where she lived. "I'm sorry Angel." She said leaning her head against him. "I know you taught me better...I don't have an excuse for what I did." She didn't look up at him, but she smiled softly. It meant a lot to her that he was learning to control himself.
PushMyButtons - February 26, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
As Jenny's arms wrapped around his, Angelus pulled away. It was the only way he could think of disciplining her right now. "I don't appreciate you trying to use your charm to get out of trouble." He said stiffly. "I am upset with you, and you know that. You could have easily been killed Jennifer. And I can't even begin to fathom what would have happened if you had been killed." His voice was still cool, but there was worry in it.
He looked down at her, amazed to see that she was smiling. "Don't you understand the danger you were in? What could have happened to you?" He asked wanting to shake some sense into her.
"If he didn't kill you, another could have. That is the home of the Tarepha Coven Jennifer. The most violent and bloody of the covens. They kill humans, humans like you, without a second thoughts. They crow with pleasure as an unknowing fly wanders into their web. That is why I had refused so many times to take you when I went to one coven or another, because there are those that have no sense of decency."
Darkasian - February 26, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
Jenny's smile vanished as easily as it appeared. She knew that she could've been killed. She knew it, but she didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry Angel..." She said looking away from him. She didn't want to admit that she was wrong. Jenny trusted Ferox, she had trusted him even though they had just met. It wasn't a vampire trick either. She just did. The worry in his voice made it even harder for her.
Anything she could think of to say was only a feeble excuse. So she didn't say anything and just walked with him. There was no excuse for what she did, and she wasn't going to try to explain herself, she'd just bury herself deeper.
"I didn't know it was the Tarepha Coven Angel. If I did I wouldn't have even set foot in there, but I made a naive mistake...one that could've killed me, but it didn't..." She said knowing full well that it didn't excuse what she did. Nothing she said would. "I didn't mean to make you worry...I...don't know what came over me..." And she thought she promised herself not to keep on burying her grave deeper.
PushMyButtons - March 3, 2008 08:27 PM (GMT)
She just didn't get it. It was obvious to him that she had no clue how much she meant to him or how much of his life revolved around her.
But she did know that there was no excuse for what she did, and for that, he was at least grateful. If she'd thought she'd been entirely in the right... Well, then he had indeed failed as a father.
"I don't want you leaving the house after dark for two weeks... Unless you're going to work, in which case I'll drive you there or pick you up myself." He said stiffly. "Understand?" His eyes fell on her as they walked, hoping that she did indeed understand what he meant and why he was doing this.
After all, you had to know the offense if the punishment is to work.
Darkasian - March 3, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
Yeah she didn't get how important she was to him. She didn't know how much his life revolved around her. Jenny wanted to, but she didn't. It was her own ignorance that hurt him like this, and she knew it.
She knew she wasn't in the right at all. Jenny wasn't so ignorant that she thought she was in the right. She wasn't a complete failure as a daughter.
Jenny looked at him as he grounded her. She understood it, and wouldn't fight him about it. She deserved it a hundred percent. "I understand Angel." She said looking at him. "I ddon't want to hurt you anymore..."
