Title: Invitation to the Blues
Description: oooooopen

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 02:11 AM (GMT)
Vincent reclined against the wooden climbing frame, his long legs stretched out infront of him, and his brimmed hat over his eyes. His pipe was in his hand, and it's long clay neck reached up under the brim into his mouth. Rich fragrant smoke was issuing from it, the headdy, dry air of cannabis smoke filled the air.
He lent back and exhaled,
"Nice ghear."

At first it seemed like he had said this only to himself, but as the moon peaked out from between the clouds and illuminated the scene the full scene was made clear.

Three burly youths lay round him, they wore cargo trousers and padded, army-style jackets. Their heads were shaved. All were intert and quite dead, dead as Vincent himself.

It had not been his intent to kill them. He had simply been passing through. But there is just no reasoning with the young of today.

He took another puff and regarded the nights with his usual steely gaze.

She could smell the sweat and fear of the bodies around her, but one look told her these were not simple kids. They were punks. While they might not deserve to die, Colleen was not one to get involved in the feeding habits of other vampires. That was a good way to get oneself killed.

As she was walking home from a club, she was forced to pass through the park. It appeared that some vampire had gotten a bit overzealous, though the cops (obviously) didn't know it was a vampire, and the road and sidewalk had been blocked off where several bodies had been violently deposited. Her diamond bracelets and earrings glinted in the moonlight as she walked down the path in her open-foot high heels and miniskirt-length red silk tube dress. The large, squarish shades she wore reflected what was around her normally, but there was so little light in the park that she felt no need for them and instead slipped one of the earpieces into the wallet she had hidden from the rest of the world - let's just say in a very revealing location that most people didn't need to see in public.

The guy standing over the bodies, though, wasn't too bad looking. But this wasn't her business. If he wanted to approach her, let him. Then again, it might be fun to play with him a bit. He was a much older vampire - she could smell the age on him - but he still might be a fun end to the night. And it was only two a. m., so she had a good three hours before she had to get home. She smiled at him as she was walking by.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 02:30 AM (GMT)
"Good evening." Vincent said pleasently, doffing his hat slightly as you young one passed him.
"There is good eating to be had here, if you desire." he added, motioning with his pipe at the corpses, "I've not fed on them, and they will just go to waste."

He had smelt her approach, the smell of dancing and adrenaline was strong. She had probably been at a club. He hadn't been at one in a while... Not since Nikki....

He studied the new vampire slyly from under his brim. So very young, so very gaudy. Still, best not read books only by covers... They can be misleading.

"What is your name, Young One?", he asked soflty, with no edge in his voice. A voice like a kindly uncle asking you to fetch him is paper. Approachable, yet powerful in an almost invisible way.

Bloodied Flesh - January 18, 2008 02:34 AM (GMT)
She looked him up and down as she slowed to a stop. She glanced at the punks.

"I don't feed on rabble, but thanks. Besides, I fed earlier tonight.

He asked her name. She smiled and responded.

"Colleen. And yours?"

She ignored the bodies as she approached the man casually, awaiting his response.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 02:47 AM (GMT)
"Vincent." he replied, taking another puff on his pipe.

He grinned as she refused his offer of a meal.
"A wise choice, judging by the strength of this ghear, god only knows what percentage of their blood was actually blood."

He cast a quick look about him at their dead eyes glinting slightyl in the moonlight.
"Unfortunate really, but if you are going to shout insults at passers by, you can expect them to take offence."

He returned his gaze to the girl.
"Colleen..." he said, testing out the name on his tongue, "Interesting. And what do I find you doing tonight?"

Bloodied Flesh - January 18, 2008 02:51 AM (GMT)
"Heading back to my home. It's just three blocks from here and five from my favorite club, so I thought I'd enjoy the air for a change instead of just speeding back. How about yourself? Other than killing hoodlums with no brains, of course," she smirked. Indeed, she hated punks. Punks were just...well, punks. 'nough said.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 02:56 AM (GMT)
"To be honest," VIncent said, refilling his pipe, "Simply enjoying the evenig, come what may. I feed just after sundown. And felt like a walk, and was here looking for a place to sit and spend a few hours, when the dulcet tones of these fine gentlemen attracted my attention. The rest you will have little trouble guessing."

Taking a draw on his now refilled pipe he held it out mouthpeice first to Colleen,
"Can I tempt you?"

Bloodied Flesh - January 18, 2008 02:59 AM (GMT)
She shook her head.

"Not with that," she said with a sly smile. "I don't smoke. But what is it you enjoy about the night, hm?"

She put on a seductive look and changed her stance to one obviously tailored for hungry men - and not those seeking food, either.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 03:04 AM (GMT)
Vincent thought for a few seconds, and then decided on 'what the hell, you only die once.'
"The view, and the company." he said simply, sliding his eyes over her slowly and untroubledly.

Well, why not? You gotta break the monotony somehow.

Bloodied Flesh - January 18, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
The examination did not go unnoticed by Colleen, naturally. A vampire she might have been, but she was a woman first and foremost. Women tended to notice when they were being checked out.

"Really? And what is it about the company you like?"

Her smile widened slightly and she stepped forward a bit, keeping her seductive pose but closing the distance between her and the obviously-not-teenage vampire.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 18, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
Vincent half smiled at her questions, "I'm not sure yet." he replied at length, "I may need more time to examine said company before I say."

It was a jerky line, but VIncent didnt really care. As nice as it would be no to wake up alone tomorrow evening, he didnt mind if he flirted with this vampire clumsily.

"And yourself? Do you enjoy the night, or otherwise?"

Bloodied Flesh - January 18, 2008 03:13 AM (GMT)
She closed the distance until they were practically nose-to-nose, old-fashioned-romantic-style, and her full red lips parted just enough to reveal perfect teeth. Her fangs were retracted, of course, but the rest of the teeth were just as healthy when she was turned.

"I'm debating on that one. Maybe I need a bit more exploration myself."

It was just as cheesy a line as his, but maybe he'd be fun.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 19, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
Exploration? Vincent raised an eyebrow, "Exploration, you say?"
He took another puff.
"What kind of exploration did you have in mind?"

Vincent was almost bored with this young one, her main interest seemed to be death and sex. Which had their place, but there was so much more out there... Books, to name but one.
Still, a dead man is still a man. And sex and death do have their places...

Bloodied Flesh - January 20, 2008 02:44 AM (GMT)
"Anything you like. I'm open for suggestions...and positions," she said with a grin and a wink.

Death held no real attraction for her, no appeal, but she didn't mind it. Death was a natural part of life and an even bigger part of what she was. But sex, on the other hand...who could say no to free sex with a beautiful woman?

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 22, 2008 12:56 AM (GMT)
Vincent grinned broadly.
"Well, now my dear... We shall see." he almost whispered.
It would be interesting, he hadn't been with a woman since Nikolas, and she would be very different from Nikki.
He took a final puff on his pipe, knocked the burned contents from it on the side of the wooden climbing frame, and stowed it back in his coat.
"So, would you like to retire to a home, or would you prefer a grassy patch somewhere?"

Bloodied Flesh - January 22, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
She smiled.

"I can take pleasure in various places, but the mortals around here tend to make things filthy. I prefer the comforts of a bedroom anyway. Your place or mine?"

Now they were practically touching, their skin mere milimeters from each other. Were they not dead, it would have been all to easy to feel the breath upon her neck as he looked upon her with those handsome eyes...

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - January 22, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
"Yours." Vincent said slowly, "My home is far distant from here. And it is in no fit state for guests..."

"Lead on, Colleen." he said beckoning her onwards...
