Title: Savoring Death
Description: -- BF and open :)

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
Stupid people... You don't just wander off to go camping in the dead of night... Especially alone or with one other person.

The campfire burned low a few feet away, and the scene would have looked peaceful if it wasn't for the blood that soaked the ground, the clothing of the three people in the campsite.

Only one of the three was still clothed even though the temperature was below freezing now... And one other of the three was the only one alive.

There was a body by the tent, a young girl, maybe about nineteen... Mangled and broken in too many places her body lay a heap. A young man of the same age was wrapped up in the arms of another young woman, a little bit older. They seemed to be in a lovers embrace, wound tight around each other in love... Except for the fact the man's head was nearly severed from the rest of the body.

Jenny was laying contently, chewing at the man's shoulder as she held him close, his body long dead...

But the scent of blood that was thick on the campground made her hunger for more. So she chewed at the man's neck as if to squeeze every droplet of blood from him, much like a lioness with her prey. He had begged for death... Had begged her to kill him, save the girl... Stupid boy... So she had made a bargain with him... And like a fool he had taken it.

The girl had gotten to watch as they had a wild romp on the forest floor... and then the boy had gotten to watch as his girl died a slow painful death, screaming for the end all the while.

Content for the moment Jenny allowed herself to bath in the moment and soak in the blood, which was why her bare body was covered almost head to toe in the dark red substance. To savor each of these moments... That was all she wanted... All she craved...

((I assume you meant me by 'BF'. :) ))

While he was as horny as the next guy, even he had to admit that blood on a naked woman's body only went so far. It had a certain appeal to be sure, but right now all that blood only made Dominik hungry again. Indeed, he watched her with a bit of amusement as let one leg dangle from the tree in which he now sat. His other leg was bent, the knee in the air, and his back was against the trunk. His cool smirk told all one needed to know: the girl amused him. He had watched it all, though only through part of it did he actually pay attention. He was half-lost in memories of the past. Why, he did not know - but he believed it had something to do with the camp site. It reminded him of some of his 'activities' during the last few hundred years. He remembered one incident in particular where he'd gotten rather overzealous. It had been some time since he'd fed from a live human at that point and - well, let's just say it had gotten rather bloody. Even his companion at the time - a woman he'd known as a friend for almost a century - had laughed at his 'zest' as she had called it. He was remembering walking away from the scene as the woman now below him rolled in a bloodbath of her own making. It had been a scene nearly identical to this one, in fact - save that he had not rolled naked in the blood afterward, of course, and neither had Rebecca. He wondered where Rebecca was now.

"You've got a bit of blood on your...yeah. Right there."

"Hm? Oh...oh, yes. I see. Thank you."

Indeed, a small trickle of blood had left his mouth and lie smugly upon his chin, as though to taunt others. See what I did? it seemed to ask. He wiped it from his chin with a forefinger and sucked it off.

"Mmm...I'd almost forgotten how fun that is. Tell me, though, Rebecca..."

"Yes?"

"Have you ever thought that perhaps we spend entirely too much time together?"

"Are you proposing?" she laughed.

Dominik smiled.

"Perhaps I've thought about it, but not at the moment. Would you like me to?"

His thoughts were slowly brought back to the present, as though his mind was being drug through molasses, and his last thought was the way she'd laughed. It had been - beautiful, melodic...he hadn't seen her for almost two hundred years, though. She had been a good friend to him. Perhaps if they'd stayed together...but no. He had not truly loved someone - not very deeply - since before he was turned over seven hundred years earlier. In truth, he longed to love someone that way again...

He shook himself. The young vampire, from what he smelled on her - though it was difficult to smell anything with all that delicious blood around - was inexperienced. Her present emotions told all.

"Nice night for a bloodbath, isn't it?" he asked pleasantly, as though merely making small talk - something he wasn't particular fond of or used to doing. Small talk was useless in his mind. Conversation had to have a purpose; otherwise, it was just - irrelevant.

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 02:03 AM (GMT)
Jenny growled as she heard a voice. Another vampire... But... She couldn't smell him through all the blood. That was how he snuck up on her.

"They're mine!" She growled fiercely. "You can't have them, they're mine you hear!" She shouted out to the darkness, not sure where the vampire was.

Granted it was far from her mind to realize that they were only corpses, not worth fighting over. Their blood held no nourishment and was only available in small drops at a time. But defend it she did, standing over her prey as she glared about the woods and snarling as she saw a man in the tree.

"Get away from here! They're mine I said! You can't have them!" While he was up in the tree of course she was pushy and bold... But well, she couldn't sense his age from so far away. If he were to get closer.... Well then things might be a bit different.

The lioness continued to protect her prey by grabbing the girl's mangled body and dragging it over the the boy's, standing in front of both. "Go find your own humans you vulture! You weak excuse for a vampire who can't hunt!"

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
Irritating fledglings. He could very easily kill this whelp and be done with her - but he didn't think she was worth his time. Besides, such insults coming from one so young were like droplets of spit in the ocean to him. He smirked, and then he let himself fall from the tree. He landed easily, almost as though he'd never been in the tree to begin with, but rather standing there the whole time. His vampiric grace was a large part of that, but his telekinetic abilities had been so refined by him over the centuries that he was able to use them almost without thinking - and this kind of thing was second nature to him.

"Why would I give a damn about a bunch of corpses? You've clearly drained them, fledgling. Besides, I've already fed."

She probably didn't even know that fledgling was an insult. He wondered who her sire was.

"I was merely admiring your handiwork."

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 03:44 AM (GMT)
As he came down from the branch Jenny snarled and backed away, dragging the woman's body with her as if it were a trophy.

His power made her bristle, made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. He was far older than she was... Far stronger. But she didn't back down. She still might be able to scare him away.

"You've seen it, now go! These humans are mine! MINE!" She snarled with her extended fangs, clutching the body to her like a treasured item. "Get out of here or I'll kill you just as I killed them! I've killed vampires before! I'll kill you just like the bastard who tried to kill me!"

She was like a wild cat. One that had been alone for so long that all civility had gone from it. It recognized no friend... no companion or kind hand. Everyone had turned against her... No one would ever help her. She knew that by now. And now she made sure that no one would torture her again.

But spitting, hissing and snarling at everyone who drew near they would all stay away, leave her alone and content to do as she pleased.

"I'll drink you dry and leave your corps to dust in the sun! I'll kill you if you come near my prey!" Her eyes were a dangerous amber color, flashing angrily for between strands of bloody hair.

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
"Then kill me," he said dryly, "and get it over with already."

She knew how that he was far more powerful than she was. He could see that. But if she was really that eager to kill another vampire, then he wasn't about to not let her try. And he seriously doubted that she had killed other vampires - not unless her sire had been powerful and her victims had been weak.

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)
Was he calling her bluff? Or did he mean it...? No. He couldn't mean it. He thought she was bluffing and was calling her out.

"You calling me a liar!?" She snarled. "I killed that bastard who killed them, and became like this! I drained him of every last drop of blood... I left him dead at my feet and burned his body to ash!"

There was one thing she'd learned from another... One who had known what happened that night... And he told her... He told her how she'd become a vampire when she hadn't understood herself. A vampire didn't need to drink a human's blood to turn them. In fact it was the opposite. When she had bit him in self defense and drawn blood... She had been cursed the moment it touched her tongue.

But it had given her the strength to live... To fight... To kill.

Snarling She hoisted the girls body over her shoulder and leaped ten feet up the trunk of a tree and pulled herself up several branches with the body until she was about twenty five feet in the air.

There she draped the body over the branch and glared down at the other vampire. Well... The boy had no blood anyway... He wasn't worth the fight.

"I killed my sire before he could kill me! I chose to be this... I turned myself of my own free will and killed him like the bastard he was!" Or so she told herself and the other vampire. It in truth had been an accident, but she had wanted to avenge her family's slaughter

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 04:13 AM (GMT)
"Good for you, brat."

Indeed, to most she would have been considered a brat. She was certainly acting like one, after all. But it was more than that, too. His dry tone said it all: she was just a fledgling, and he was...well, while not exactly an ancient, he was certainly very old. He considered himself ancient only because of his age in comparison to mortals, but as a vampire he was merely 'old'. This vampire was barely a newborn, from the smell of her.

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 04:21 AM (GMT)
The blood clothed vampire glared down at him, fangs bared as he spoke in such a demeaning tone.

How dare he mock her... How dare he simply laugh at her and belittle her.

Perhaps it was the blood in the air that made her lose her senses... Or perhaps it was just her vampiric temperament... From her position in the tree she launched herself at him with all her fury, looking as if some wild beast, some animal in a rage or bloodlust.

And what else was she?

What else could you call her?

She wasn't a human by any means... But yet to crude to be a vampire. Too uncivilized.

Her naked body launched at the vampire faster than the human eye would catch. it was as if she were up on the branch one minute and then knocking him over and rolling in the leafy debris, her blood from cuts mixing with the blood already on her skin.

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 04:26 AM (GMT)
Her speed, however superior to that of a mortal, was nothing to Dominik's. He was gone practically before she had leaped. He was on the other side of the clearing now, staring at her in a bored manner as she plummeted to the ground.

"Nice...very nice. But perhaps you should try it when you're a bit older - say seven or eight hundred years older."

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
As she crouched on the ground, as if to leap again she snarled at his words.

"You're not nearly as old as I thought!" She grinned. "I've killed vampires half your age before... And I was only born a year ago. The first thing I ever killed was a vampire... He was almost a millennia old.... But I killed him because he thought he could kill me... And I refused to die."

She had been told he had recently woken from a century slumber and had come to slay her family to gorge himself on blood to revive himself fully... And he had killed everyone but her... And she killed him. At the first taste of his blood, she remembered overpowering him before draining him and tearing off his head.

"The Amman have tried to kill me... But I still live... But you should watch your words... Or I will kill you.. No mater how long I have to wait." She snarled, still keeping her crouched position.

She was stronger than any vampire her age and stronger than many vampires older than herself. He was only out of her range by a couple hundred years... But her power would catch up to him. And she would taste his blood... Bath in it just as she did now.

"Why were you watching me? What the hell do you want! Did the Amman send another worthless vampire to kill me? Because it won't work... They should know by now that even if I can't fight them... I can run and hide better than they can find me."

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 04:55 AM (GMT)
"If I'd wanted to kill you, I could have done so while you were basking in the afterglow of your handiwork. I heard the screaming, sure enough, but I was merely curious. You were the one who decided to get antsy and try to kill me, as I recall. Hence your leap from the tree, of course. Frankly, I could care less about you. I was here feeding myself, until I heard the screaming. I finished my meal and took a casual stroll to see who was having their own little fun tonight."

He sighed and leaned against a tree.

"You can try to kill me if you wish, but you have no reason to do so. I've no reason to kill you, either. So why don't we end this and have a civilized conversation? Hm?"

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 05:09 AM (GMT)
"Why would I want to talk to the likes of you.... All you older vampires are the same... You think you're so much better than ones like me... Anyone who can't match your age is no good to you! You think you're all powerful, that I'll cower before you..." She spat at him, of course nothing hit him over that distance, it was more symbolic.

"I won't. So just get out of here! Leave me alone! You think you're so much better than me... You're just as low, just as primitive as me, but you just don't know it." She growled.

He was acting just like the others had, a superior attitude just because of the preference of her hunt... No one had bothered to teach her what to do... No one had bothered to teach her how to act or how to use her gifts. All of her human memories had been erased... She only knew what happened the hours before her turning... That was all. She couldn't remember her family's name... Couldn't remember what school she had gone to or who she'd been friends with... Everything was gone

"Get away from my territory! This is my hunting grounds and you're not welcomed here! You're not worth even knowing you rat." She said baring her fangs. "I don't need rodents infesting my life! And that's all you older vampires are. Rodents, infecting the city... Pressing your will on to vampires like me and taking advantage of those who have nothing."

Darting over to the boy's body, she hauled it up a separate tree before leaping down like a jaguar of the forest, protecting it's prey.

"Get out of here!" She said pacing back and forth, drawing closer to him with every pass she made.

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
He rolled his eyes.

"Now you're making broad generalizations. You assume I feel to superior to you because of my advanced age, yet you do not know me. Yes, I am superior - to mortals. To me, you're just another vampire. I don't care how old you are. I am indifferent to the Nephim and Enashe; they mean nothing to me, either in the positive or the negative. You are the same as them to me because I do not know you. I dislike the Tarepha, though I have my reasons in that regard. The Amman have their uses and I am somewhat leery of them due to their individual and combine power, but overall I am indifferent to them as well. I am Ishak, and Ishak shall I always be. Don't jump to conclusions just because you are inexperienced."

He popped his neck.

"If you were to act a little more civilized, perhaps you would begin to realize that there are some that would gather together to kill you - the Amman especially - just because you threaten to expose us all. Would you have six billion humans trying to kill you, not to mention every vampire in existence, simply so that you could prove you are bound to no one and nothing?"

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 05:34 AM (GMT)
"I know nothing of those other covens... They are of no use or importance." She said waiving a hand. "Leave. Now... Go back to your precious coven if it means so much to you. If you think they will protect you when you're hunted, then you're a fool. To trust them is death... Covens are useless and out of date. They mean nothing." She hissed. Granted it could have simply been the envy talking... The fact that she was unwanted by everyone... The fact that she was such an oddity among even vampires made her stand out like a sore thumb.

Her blood ran thick... She had not been bitten or drained before her turning. She had been turned at the height of a struggle, her heart beating as fast as it could. Every drop of blood in her body burned now just as it had that night.

"Get out of here vampire... And don't come back unless it's with a desire for my head. That is all anyone ever wants or expects from me because no one can control me... Some have tried... And they all have failed. My blood is too hot for them... No one can break me... Own me.... All they can do is kill me. And they will kill you too if you linger here.... Oh... they will you fool."

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 05:39 AM (GMT)
"If you are so dangerous, why does no one teach you? Do you like living the way you do? Like an animal?"

He cocked an eyebrow.

"Because frankly, that's what you look and sound like. An animal. And I'd much rather train an animal than control them. There is a difference, you know."

He shook his head.

"But clearly, you're too far gone to care for anyone other than yourself. Perhaps you've forgotten how to be a vampire. Or perhaps you were never taught how to be one in the first place. Either way, your anger and hatred will get you nowhere."

AngelWings - December 20, 2007 05:48 AM (GMT)
"Because no one can... I refuse to listen to someone who tries to control me... And that's all they do... They want me to be a good little girl... But I won't!" She snarled.

She gave a snort though as he wondered if she'd forgotten how to be a vampire.

"Haven't you been listening... I never had a sire... I killed him... The night I was born... He died by my hands." She said slowly so maybe this time he would catch it. "He killed my family... And so I killed him. I drank him dry that night and ripped his head from his shoulders.... I burnt his body to ash..." She glared.

"Because of my birth... I have been rejected by everyone... I was not created like you... I birthed myself into this world... My blood and body were not weak when I became a vampire... The pain I suffered as I changed... I took out on him. You have no idea what that pain was like... My whole body burned from the inside out.... It is the first thing I remember about this life... The only thing I know for sure."

Bloodied Flesh - December 20, 2007 05:55 AM (GMT)
"As I said before, I could really care less about you. I don't know you, and clearly you don't know yourself either. I came here for a meal, as you also clearly did. But unlike you, I don't have people trying to kill me. The reason for that, by the way, is that I don't look like an animal or sound like a raving maniac. You want to have your own little pity party, go ahead. Myself, I grow tired of it. Good-bye, girl."

With that, he took his leave. He melded into the shadows quickly and quietly. He was still nearby, of course, but he was casually walking away. He had nothing to fear from the wretched vampire behind him, so he had no reason to hurry. He was simply enjoying the night...
