Clubs. They were so much more fun than the taverns of old. In the old days, the only women in taverns were the ones serving the pitchers of beer and ale. These days... ooh, her kind (female and undead) were everywhere. It was kinda lovely. Serving wenches no longer, it was the 'fairer' sex that was on the prowl.
Elisabeth, or Keira as she preferred nowadays, loved clubbing. Getting all slicked up, or down, was a thrill in itself. The whole process of taking that long, hot bath... smoothing something sweet-smelling over her skin, the anticipation as you slithered into something sexy--usually black lace. Even if a man never got his eyes on it, she knew it was there and that was enough.
As much as she loved clubbing, however, didn't mean she couldn't enjoy the quieter joys of life. Like taking a walk in the park. And a lovely park it was. The leaves were falling and they were all in such bright colors... muted a little in the moonlight, but Keira was sure they were no less lovely now than they were in the sun.
Kneeling, she picked a particularly yellow one up and twirled it. When she stood again, her eye landed on another figure walking alone on this crisp night. Mmm, company would be nice... but only if the company was nice, of course.

OOC: Siva, I'm posting as Viktor >>
IC:
Just around the bend on the path was a small bench. From here it was covered up by a healthy sized bush, which was for the best lest some others spot them before Viktoria had finished. The overhead light illuminating the seat had been hit with a rock, giving only the silver moonlight for illumination. It was odd when one looked at blood in that light, it was similar to quick-silver.
The homeless man's only crime had been hitting up a dealer for a quick shot of euphoria. True, he was feeding the addiction and it would wear off, but just to feel good about anything was worth the price. Only this time the twins had spotted him, stalked him, and had closed in.
It was fast, and relatively quiet. They couldn't afford screams in a public place like this, even if it was near or past the witching hour. Viktor had drawn and embedded his knife to the hilt in the man's throat, silencing him instantly and killing him soon after. Alternating between feeding and watching, Brother had finished up and whipped what was left onto the sleeve of his black coat, giving it a slightly darker stain. Viktoria was feeding in the meantime while he provided watch.
And it looked like someone else was coming.
His small white hands were loose, hanging just in front of his open coat. Inches away from his weapons. True, some vampires relied on their minds than physical force, the bond they had formed was adequate enough to neutralize, or at least dim, such efforts. And they were ready for tooth and nail brawling.
At the moment though, he didn't want to have another body to dispose of at the moment. Too much effort with this one as it was, a second would be even worse...

Dancing through the streets was always fun, the way that the midnight breeze ruffled the lace of Viktoria's dress, and blew the hair from her face; simple pleasures were the highest of such.
Her fair hair was draped over her shoulders, blanketing the victim as she leaned over him for her nutrition. The ends of it were reddened and stiff from dried blood.
Lifting from his neck, her teeth held tiny strings of saliva and blood at t=connected them. Her words, however, broke the contact.
"Vous avez sommeil."(1)Her liquid velvet words flooded his ears as he drifted into his eternal slumber. Her brother's tense auea crept up her back and alerted her. She too, could sense this other being.
"Mon frère, nous n'avons pas des temps."(2) She spoke in a soft, hollow tone. Her freshly fed eyes were lucid as she stared into the expanse of dark. Her own aura inimical, she spared no time to finish her meal.
((Translation note: (1) You are tired/sleepy//(2) My brother, we have no time))

Keira watched carefully, straining her eyes slightly. She didn't see as well in darkness as others of her kind, only slightly better than a human did.
There were two, she realized, and they weren't as far away as she'd thought. No... they were just small. Size, the vampire reminded herself, was hardly a clue to strength. If she concentrated, she could feel their power and it was assuredly greater than hers.
She might have approached, but the cool, Canadian breeze shifted, washing over her and carrying the scent of blood. More proof that these two were her kind. Blood, and what seemed to be death.
Keira frowned. Though she was far from able to say she had never killed, that didn't mean she approved of it. Life was fleeting and therefore precious. She disliked those that wasted it.
Her quiet, peaceful night seemed to be diverging from that path.

"Sie ist alleinschwester."(1)
This was a unique encounter, the woman had an air of apprehension about her. Either from fear or resolve he couldn't be certain of, but one of Demaitre's vampires had come out to play, which was always useful. It was said that Canadians mostly spoke...French or English. Most likely a nod to their French origins and later British-rulings, humankind exchanged control over land so often it seemed better if they just made one really big country. Granted it'd never work out due to opposing beliefs, costs, and numerous other issues. That's neither here no there!
His shoes clacked softly as he stepped along the path and entered the rims of light from an overhanging lamp. It illuminated him faintly, letting her have a good guess at his apparent age, skin-color, clothing and such rather than being just another dark shape.
the smile and slight curving of the eye lids could lead someone to think this an actual child than the monster it truly was. The ruse wasn't needed here, dealing with one of their own kind, but it helped relieve tense situations occasionally.
"Hello Ma'am, enjoying a walk on this fine evening?"

(Sorry for posting so little o_o;;)
"D'accord, mon frére."(1) she spoke her tiny words softly, standing up and wiping her mouth off so as to appear like a proper lady. Someone used to tell them things like that all the time, although she couldn't remember when or who.
"C'est une dame?"(2) she mumbled to herself, pleased. "Ça va, madame?"(3) Her voice was louder and childlike now, she sounded like an excited little girl with free reign and cash in a toy store. Her youth made her intriguingly fickle at times.
Her face illuminated to mimick her borther's as she stepped forward and courtesied to this younger vampire. Respect was a demand, and havving just fed, she wasn't too antsy for bloodshed.
Scrutinizing the girl, Viktoria raised a finger to her lips, gliding her hand from a bloodlust position under her mouth to an adorable, curious expression almost instantaneously.
(Trans. Note: (1) Agreed, my brother.
(2) It's a lady?
(3)How are you, miss?

Keira regarded the child-vampire before her, trying to gauge something of it. Older, she could tell, but little more than that. "I was indeed," she replied smoothly enough, meeting the young-looking boy's eyes neutrally.
She tucked her hands into the pockets on her tailored knee-length black jacket. "Having a good meal...?" she asked, her question trailing off at the end as she eyed the vampire curiously.
Far be it from her to admit to being afraid of others, Keira had to admit she was rarely comfortable around those of significantly greater age than she. She felt that she was more modern, and had a hard time understanding those that came from earlier times.
"And you?" she asked, this question directed towards the other one who had spoken.
