Title: Night time stroll
Description: buttons

Argen Surio - September 10, 2007 04:09 AM (GMT)
Argen was walking down the road, checking out this area, and hopefully find a place to stay, a few hundred years ago he would have slept in an alley, but he was to used to the softness of a bed so he continued to walk.
"Arg in all my years of life I have never been so confused in all my life!, well maybe I have thinking back to Africa."
Argen looked at the sign post pointing the direction of a hotel, only it was broken and Argen had no idea what direction it was meant to point in. Noone was outside as it was so late, he was screwed.

PushMyButtons - September 10, 2007 04:35 AM (GMT)
"You want to go north east...." Came a calm, female voice behind a newspaper at a bench. "If you're looking for a place to stay that is." She added casually. It wasn't like she had to dig at all to hear the vampire's thoughts... Like most fools he wore them at the very top of his mind, and some floating above his scalp. Or even more foolishly, as words from his lips.

Never let your predators know your weakness.

She knew that well. Predators attack when they sense fear... Frighten them to the point they soil themselves, you have them in your grasp.

"I didn't think it would be that hard to figure out how the pole snapped..." She murmured distractedly, still reading her paper. "A wise person would use the mark from whence they came... And use it to mark where they should go."

Aneksi let the paper slip from her grasp slightly, her brown eyes almost laughing over the paper.

"Not very clever for one so old... Are we." Yes, there was a smile behind the paper. A fanged one of hunger. He was weak... So... Very... Weak. And she was not the kind, nurturing woman she had once been.

Argen Surio - September 10, 2007 04:51 AM (GMT)
Argen quickly shrugged off his immature persona and aged to about 35 years and his whole aura changed and turned to face the woman.

Vamp he could feel it so strongly.
"Well even though the pole had snapped the sign at the top had also fallen off, hence it could point in any direction"
Argen was beginning to see that these city vamps didnt take kindly to strangers.

"Cleverness has nothing to do with this, my dear lady"
Argen Icy blue eyes looked at this woman, then using his Nephim speed appeared to the side of her.

"And what may you be doing out all alone tonight" Argen asked.

PushMyButtons - September 10, 2007 05:02 AM (GMT)
"But you don't even know where you have been... Saddest of all I must say..." She murmured as she turned the page, her eyes back on the paper.

It was a simple childhood riddle that had been along even in her age. A stranger traveling on an unfamiliar road came along a crossroads... But the pole with the directions had fallen... How could he figure out how to get where he was going?

Her father had once told her... To see where we wish to go... We must also know where we have been. Cleaver... Wise... Those were the two virtues that Aneksi treasured most.

Aneksi barely batted an eyelash as the young man moved to her side. "I am no true lady I can assure you dear boy." She said with only the slightest hint of a smile. "I wouldn't get too close... I bite... The taste of a vampire's blood is far more delicious than a mere mortals... Tainted and seasoned with years... I might be sorely tempted to drain you. And I'm not always so gentle as I may seem."

Her eyes turned back to the paper for a moment before he spoke once more.

"I would have thought that obvious... I was reading the paper... I have already hunted for the night... But I thought I would enjoy reading for a moment before I head home. It is a rather nice night after all..."

Argen Surio - September 10, 2007 05:22 AM (GMT)
"Ah your one who feeds on there own kind I have yet to see one of them"

Argen held out his hand for the woman as his silver pendant hang down from his wrist.

"My name is Argen, may I ask what is yours"

She reminded Argen Of Anita she looked so much like her down to the hair.

"Im sorry if I stare, you look so much like a woman I met back in Egypt"

Argens blood lust and normal lust was rising he had not fed since he came to canada nor had he been with a woman, he would go book a hotel room and find a mortal woman, mesmerize her and sleep with her and feed, then He would leave before dawn as always and go back to his room, that is of course he didnt take the woman back to his house.

PushMyButtons - September 10, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
Her eyes flicked over to the offered hand and back to the paper. Not only was the boy wearing silver, but she didn't feel much like toughing him either.

"I'm Aneksi..." She responded, slightly distracted as she came across an article about a local school failing standards... It was such a pity... She had always loved to share what she knew, but... Well, it would be hard for her to get a job as a teacher now wouldn't it?

"Do I now? Yes... I suppose to some, all egyptians look the same..." She murmured. "Though I am probably far older than this woman you speak of." And probably more beautiful as well, but she didn't say that aloud. "Anita... It sounds a recent name. No name I heard in my time."

His hunger was rising, in more ways than one, as he looked at her. She could feel it keenly. But as before, she did nothing. Why should she? He wasn't going to feed from her, nor would she give him her body. And she could simply kill him should he try to take her by force.

"But I feed from vampires... Because they can take so much more pain and punishment than a weak human body. It isn't too often... But there are times I feel like taking a life ever... so... slowly..." She said with a growl. To feel her nails dig into flesh... Feel her fangs tear at muscle... Oh... it was simply arousing.

Argen Surio - September 10, 2007 09:57 PM (GMT)
Argen saw the distaste in her eyes looking at his hand, so he moved his hand away.
"you really shouldnt read my mind like that, its quite rude"

Argen saw she was beginning to lost interest.
"well I came to Canada looking for Anita, and I still have decided whether to kill her of love her" Argen sighed.

"So I can figure your Egyptian well we were in Egypt around the time when Cario was built some 1000 years ago. Nice place a bit dusty though"

Argen had no time to speak to such ignorant vampires, ones that could read you mind without so much as a 2nd though, this woman was a bout 2 thousand years his senior and could only imagine her life.

"So it seems that you hold an aura of distaste about me, if you wish it so I shall leave"
Argen looked towards the ground.

PushMyButtons - September 10, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
A thousand years ago? Cairo was far older than that... Well the place she knew Cairo to be.

"I haven't been to Egypt since... What year would it be? Two-Hundred and eighty? Yes... It's been a very very long time since I even stepped foot there. Cairo though... It was only a small village, across the river from the great city of Giza. That was the Cairo of my time." She said with a little purr. "There are times I miss the sands... But they were always so coarse on my skin..."

"But if I may again be as bold... If you do not wish me to read your mind, you should close it too me. I haven't once pried deep enough, only read the current things floating around where anyone with similar powers could feel them." She said simply as she folded the paper shut.

"And again, if you are looking for her to love her or kill her... You should know your goal before you set out on a path. You should know what needs to be done before even starting, otherwise terrible things could happen. You kill her... Then realize how much you loved her..." she paused for a moment. "Well, that would really be the only bad thing, for you can always kill her another time." She had killed one she loved, had done quite a number on her fledgling. She had regretted it shortly after, but she had enjoyed it none the less

"But I preferred not to touch you for the silver you wear. Should it taint your skin, it would hurt mine as well. If you wish to leave, I have no opinion one way or the other dear boy. You have your life and are entitled to it, and I have mine. If you wish to leave, that is your choice. Though... You could miss out on valuable lessons from an older vampire." She said with a little smirk as she rolled the paper up, tucking it in the tote bag she had with her.

Argen Surio - September 10, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
"Ah this silver I wear taint my skin not, plus it helps some nasty vamps away"
Argen looked down at his clothes, and his rings and thought of the 4th one, the one Anita had taken.

"The things is that I have never met a vampire older than me in a few 100 years, and Anita both my love and my enemy, for she left me and ran out into the night, my heart loves her but also wished for her to be punished for her crimes"

Argen looked back this woman, the feeling of age and wisdom came curling off her.
"So my dear Lady, what could one such as yourself teach me!"

"In my years I have aimed to learn about the underworld of we Nosferatu but the books can only teach you so much"

PushMyButtons - September 11, 2007 02:39 AM (GMT)
"Is running from someone such a crime? I left my sire... I wanted to see more things than he, content to sit in Egypt. But when I became lost in the blood lust he was there to save me from myself. And yet... When I woke... I ran again, furious for what he had done to me. Forced me to sleep because he could not control me another way... And again he came back... And how did I repay him for his love and devotion?" She shook her head with a sad smile as she stood.

"I weakened him so terribly that his sire... His greatest enemy was able to find him... Kill him." She had thought for the longest time that she had done it. that it had been by her fangs that he had died... But no... Master had killed him... Killed him for refusing to give her up. "His sire... Was over seven thousand years old... And that was nearly a thousand years ago when I was his prisoner. When you can stand before a power like that without trembling... You are either powerful yourself, or stupid." She said with an almost mocking smile.

She frowned at a word that she didn't particularly like. "Do not use that fake word around me child... I will have your head for it. In Egypt, in my time there were temples to the Goddess Sekhmet, and those like us where her devoted followers, we would offer the blood of humans and vampires alike to her alter. Call us vampires, or even Akhkharu. Those are the oldest of names for our kind. But do not confuse us with the deformed, haggard creatures of mortal fancy."

Argen Surio - September 11, 2007 01:25 PM (GMT)
Argen also stood.

"Ah but I was not her sire, I have even yet to sire my own, as the pain of them leaving me shall shatter my once broken, heart. She was my love we met many many years ago, and one day she up and left, I can never forgive her for that. Time is a good healer, but this time, just tears deeper the wound even more."

Argen smirked at her distaste at the word.
"Living as long as you have I thought you would have learned not to frown at words that do not suit your taste, you most certainly watched the rise of modern speak, yet you still find fault in these mortals tongue."

Argen started to remember Gregorio
"My sire I have much to thank him for, aswell as my life as a mortal, we separated oh so long ago in Japan, he wished to settle down, but my young blood made me push on, but I atleast had manners to say goodbye. He was like a father to me, both in my immortal sense and mortal sense."

Argen bowed his head, and maybe a tear came out or it was the wind blowing, but he stood thinking would he ever see, his father again.

PushMyButtons - September 11, 2007 01:46 PM (GMT)
"If you let a woman tear you like that, you still have much growing to do boy. It does not matter the relationship of blood, but of the heart. My sire was my lover, my husband, years before I even knew what he was." She said simply. "He cared for my children and I in our most desperate time when my first husband had been slain by his enemies who would have killed me and my children as well. But that is neither here nor there." She finished with a dismissive wave of her hand.

She gave a slight smile as he harped on her for being picky about her words... But then again... "With all your years I would think that you would have learned loves comes and love goes. That you should harden your heart against such foolish emotions and not let them ruin your sense." She gave a soft chuckle.

She listened as he spoke about his sire, but didn't fully take it in. Of course his sire was like a father to him. There were only a few types of Sire-Fledgling relations that she had ever seen. Parent-child, lovers, masters-slaves or a bitter hatred. No matter who she ran across, this was the truth that she had seen in all things.

"If this woman is not of your blood, what does she matter. Is she really that special to you that you would waste years going after her?"

Argen Surio - September 11, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
"Ah loves comes and goes indeed, but the fact of this love was the deceit that came along with such a love"

he thought over her words about the years hardening his heart.
"This is a matter of many things, something I must find the answer to, I still find women and allow them to pleasure me, but this woman made such an impact on me, etched herself onto my heart at such a young age, that it will follow me my entire life."

Argen listened and thought about his answer carefully then smiled.
"What is waste when you have so many years left to live, being bored of my present life, I had to find a reason to walk forward again, the years I spent looking for her would pass like weeks for one, such as yourself"

Argen realized that he should not insult a woman by calling her old, seeing as one he would dare to call old, would no doubt be able to skin him alive, metaphorically and literally.

PushMyButtons - September 11, 2007 02:28 PM (GMT)
Quicker than even a vampire could blink, Aneksi's hand was around his throat and squeezing hard. It was not the insult that had moved her, but rather, his arrogance at thinking he still had so much time left. Her other hand grabbed the one with the silver designs and held on to it, even tighter than she gripped at his throat.

She knew she could not suffocate him, but she could pop his head off like a bottle top.

"You arrogant little brat... Do you think any of us can truly live forever?" She hissed dangerously. "Even I do not delight myself with such fantasies to delude myself. I could kill you here and now boy, without so much as a single fleeting thought.

Her eyes flashed with amusement as she heard the thought of skinning him alive. It was rather tempting...

"Perhaps I should have some fun with you... Especially if you have such a low opinion of women. We are more than objects of pleasure... We are more than servants to your every whim... Foolish boy... perhaps that was why your woman left you. Have you thought of that? Maybe she found love with a man who did not treat her merely as a fuck toy..." Her voice was a growl... All the memories of her imprisonment tearing at her mind, fueling the rage in her heart.

She let him go suddenly, tossing him to the ground before she truly did kill him. The rage was becoming too much for her. Her body was tense, her nails sharpened claws... She had to try and hold back her rage so she didn't kill this vampire... Though she would have truly enjoyed it. Not because of him personally, but because it was blood.

Argen Surio - September 11, 2007 02:44 PM (GMT)
Argen coughed and then laughed wiping his mouth as he stood.

"It is you who is the arrogant one here, I even said many years left to live many could be even a 1 if i spent it happily, not live forever as you exclaimed, your ears have become shut to what ever you do not want to here" Argen hissed

Argen chuckled.

"And once again you fail to comprehend my words, I never once said that Women are my slaves or my toys, I loved her and she found me to be a bore, that is all. It is Women like you that give women a bad, name if I had met your earlier in my life, I would surely come to hate women, but I still love them and care for them unlike you who would gladly murder without a second thought." Argen yelled.

Argen spat at the ground then turned his back to her, looking over his shoulder.
He smiled "Guess ill be going now, unless you wish to tell me once again how, young and stupid I am"

PushMyButtons - September 11, 2007 03:03 PM (GMT)
A smile curled on her lips as she gave a soft chuckle, watching the boy pick himself up off the ground. "If you had met me earlier... You would have met a very... Very different woman. Many things have changed me... But I apologize, you're probably too immature to fully enjoy a woman anyway."

She did hear everything though, but the rage in her mind had recalled those horrible memories quicker than she thought she could.

"When you've been beaten, raped and tortured for centuries... We can see just how jaded you will become. See how much you think of love then." She said simply. "Kill without hesitation? Yes... If I could... And I have. I have seen men so foul they defile the very air around them... I have killed them. Men so wicked that when they lay eyes on me they only think of taking my body in ways I would never allow, I have killed them too. Women, who sell themselves on the street, moaning like the whores they are... They too have died at my hands."

She gave a cold laugh then.

"But that is not the only side of me either..." Her voice had dropped to nearly a purr.

Moving quickly again to show up behind him, her fingers shot up to curl in his hair. Her hand was not rough, was not harsh or cruel. But gentle, almost caring, loving. "I am still a woman after all..." She whispered at his ear, her body pressed close against his back. "I do still have a heart... Have emotions other than rage... Hatred and anger. I could make you forget all about your woman... Tear her from your every memory..." She offered with that same gentle purr.

Argen Surio - September 11, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
"Oh for those memories must be an great burden to hold, that noone should handle alone"

Argen turned around to look in her eyes, there he saw it, all the pain she had been through, his troubles were meaningless before hers.

"You say I am too immature to fully enjoy a women, alas that may be true, but in time I shall learn, in time I shall become a better man, not for me but for those who wish it from me"

Argens voice went into a gentle whisper and he carefully ran his hand over the outline of her face, careful not to make the silver taint he soft skin.

"Aneksi, you are a woman with beauty and maturity that I have not seen in hundreds of years, and I feel young and stupid before your very gaze"

Argen as a man filled with many pains of the heart, not nearly as mush as Aneksi had suffered still felt, a kind of empathy with her as it meant more time to 'live more time to hurt' as Gregorio had taught him.

PushMyButtons - September 11, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
Aneksi truly didn't care for his touch... Perhaps it was the fact there was silver near the hand that touched her. Perhaps that she just didn't desire physical affection at the moment.

"Do not flatter me Argen. I do not take kindly to such things." She warned softly.

"But do you wish me to make you forget? Help you move past her alleged betrayal?" She could do such a thing. She could rid him of every memory he contained... Rip his very mind away from his body, mold him to be hers.

She nearly grinned at the thought, but her face remained impassive.

"I can save you from the pain, I can help you." She smiled as her nails scraped his neck softly.

Argen Surio - September 12, 2007 11:00 PM (GMT)
Argen moved his hand from her face.

"Alas i shall not flatter you again,"
Argen smiled
"But I do not wish to forget these memories they make up who I am, without them I am hollow"
Argen took a breath.
"But if you allow me I shall help you move past the pain in your soul.
For I am not a tree to be bent to fit the space, I am but a weed that grows regardless"

Argen moved back, as the nails scraped his neck, in a a burst of emotion.
"I cant hope to move on from this, this pain is who I am, my future and my past. I have not known true love in my life, this woman I thought would help me find my heart, but she has just stamped it deeper."

PushMyButtons - September 13, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
"And you never will find true love." She snarled suddenly. He was lucky he moved away, for otherwise there would have been deep gashes on his throat.

"If you cannot move beyond the pain of a broken heart, then you will never find love. Believe me. I loved Amon unlike any other. And since his death I have never loved again." She growled. "I would be able to make you forget this pain. I could remove her from every memory you possess. She would be nothing to you any more, you would be able to live again."

"But since you object, I shall go on my way." She said as she turned away.

Did she need to waste her time with this child? No, of course not. He was nothing to her...

Argen Surio - September 13, 2007 07:23 AM (GMT)
"Aneksi! stop, As you who as never loved again, why shall that make me, a child to follow in the acts that you have lain forward."

Argen stepped closer to her, not worried that he may get hurt, all that concerned him was talking to her, he had never met a vampire, so full of knowledge before it was breathtaking.

"How would you have made me forgot, charm it out of my heart with your magic, or simply remove my memories, for I wish to keep my memories of our happier times, and of our no so happy, but I also wish to rid my heart of such pain, if you can do so tell me how!"

Argen wasnt the kind of vampire that could read minds but he felt as if he could hear her mind.
"If I be but a nothing to you, improve me and show me what it shall be to become more than just a Heartless nobody, one with out a heart and a body that shall fade away."
Argen spoke to her as he hadnt spoken to anyone in over 600yrs she deserved his respect.
