Place of Birth: Berlin, Germany
Species: Vampire.

Appearance: Wagner has one thing about him that is easily noticed. He has the trained graces of someone of noble birth. Those unique little quirks of someone who is accustomed to having power. His gaze is imperious looking down on those who are lesser then him and only giving just enough respect to those that are greater. Steel gray eyes gaze into people and often-times it sends a shiver down their spines. As if he's weighing the worth of someone's life on a mental scale. His dark brown hair falls to the middle of his back and is tied back in a ponytail, a few of the bangs drifting around his face. His skin is pale the kind that models and actors are envious in their wanting. Nearly six feet in height Wagner cuts an imposing figure wherever he goes and is almost always noticed. Lean and fit as far as his body goes Wagner has the same figure that he worked hard to keep in shape during his mortal years. Beauty? He was beautiful, having the handsome look that could steal the breath away from women, Wagner never afraid to flaunt his looks.
History: Berlin. What a beautiful place it was. One of the more tasteful places to live back when Germany was array of cities, land holdings, and kingdoms that were controlled by the Princes. The Ramsden family was a duchy and they were shrewd enough to invest heavily in trade with their funds to increase their wealth. It was in Berlin that the family lived of course loyal to the Kingdom of Prussia when it still existed. It was during a glorious spring that Wagner was born, the first-born of Duchess Maria von Ramsden and Duke Lukas von Ramsden. Wagner was raised as the heir to the family line. To earn the riches of the family.
He was the only male soon a couple of daughters came after him but, Wagner was the sole heir to the duchy and it was a good life. He was raised with only the best things that money could buy. Their parents not sparing a single expense on Wagner, he was tutored every day in various subjects, given private dueling instructors, and a riding trainer. When not heavily engrossed in his studies Wagner was practicing music and dance having a dedicated approach to his life. Wanting to be thorough in everything that he did.
By eighteen years of age Wagner was ready to finally be married his parents having him courted by only the best and brightest young ladies. The Ramsden family had earned many friends and foes for the successes at acquiring wealth and power. It was during one such ball that Wagner met the woman who would change him. And by change it was not in a good way to Wagner at first. Yet there she was Countess Dewinter with her fascinating charms and smiles. She was a French Noble who was touring Prussia for now and was staying in Berlin for a few weeks. They danced, she flirted, she charmed young Wagner with her superior play. She was independent, charming, a woman who knew what she wanted. Quite different from the submissive girls of that day and age.
After the party when things began to settle down the family was attacked. Final several of their enemies had united in an attempt to break the Wagner family power. Many were butchered in the chaotic slaughter, even Wagner was running scraped and banged up during the fight. And yet there the woman was. Lady Dewinter standing amidst the chaos. She calmly threw a still-living man through a window to Wagner's surprise and shock and came forward.
"You belong to me now," she purred in his ear. "That is if you want to live and still live in a position of power," she murmured. She had already secured needed documents to transfer most of the family funds to her coffers. He walked with her escaping into a chariot she had waiting. Unaware that she had helped orchestrate this. Dewinter wanted him without the silly attachments. The curtains were closed in the chariot and all Wagner felt was a sharp pain in his neck as she drained him. He shuddered feeling everything go black as she drained him with brutal efficiency.
"No no pet, you can't die," she said softly as he smelled something feeling something wet in his parched mouth. He drank with a hunger he didn't know how long he drank until she pulled away the source of the flood.
"And now you'll live forever," she whispered as Wagner drifted into a heavy sleep. When he awoke later on he found himself in a sealed bed chamber with her looking at him with an amused look.
"What did you do to me?" Wagner groaned feeling like someone had hit him with a sledgehammer a few times.
"I gave you a gift. A gift of the night," she murmured.
From then on he learned about the gifts and the superior traits that vampires had in-common even to experiment with his own ability and try to figure out what his gifts were. He never knew just how old Lady Dewinter was as she guided him constantly calling him bet. The years and constant conflicts within the region where he was born irritated Wagner. He and Lady Dewinter toured most of Europe, witnessing such events as the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, and the rise and fall of nations as far as national power goes.
It was amusing true, but Wagner no longer associated himself with that or more like his Mistress forbade him from participating in any of it. Regardless Wagner did not endure the transition easily at times being forced to endure chains to keep from escaping and doing something reckless and stupid. By the time Bismarck finished uniting Germany however, Wagner realized it was time to move on. By this point Lady Dewinter had found a new pet to humor herself over the next century or so and allowed him to leave. Having years to build up his fortune left him incredibly wealthy and having plenty of options to travel.
However, to get away from Europe he chose America. And in 1874 he left for the United States to travel around. He explored the country quite fascinating and so full of twists and turns at every corner. Democracy was utterly perverse and the numerous complications in the law system and voting system made him wonder why it worked for so long. Still it would be a little past 1900...around 1910 or so that he wound up in Texas and he met her. He met her when he was in the streets at night for his latest prowl to satisfy himself. And he saw her. Eleanor. She was walking the streets alone. The way she moved, her manner, the beauty of her. He had to have it for his own. In that one night her turned her bringing-forth a daughter of the night; to be his companion during his travels.
Eleanor was a beauty, a true lady that he didn't believe existed in this culture anymore. One who danced with little touch required, she moved with her own unique grace. He helped her as best as he could with the transition. Aware of just how difficult it could be if you didn't have someone constantly guiding you. He forbade her from going to her family. Encouraging her to believe them dead or otherwise. The last thing she needed to do was return to them as a vampire and lose control around them. They lived on his manor he spoiling her with gifts and never leaving her with want. There they lived through World War I, the Great Depression, and even World War II. He noticed that she was becoming agitated and kept on reading the newspapers avidly. The Dust Bowl being the worst moment.
He concluded she couldn't stay in Texas. And in one night he came and told her they were traveling to a new home. Washington State he had purchased a manor that was secluded in the forest. One of the things he noting about he was she went stir-crazy if she wasn't occupied. Always a problem with vampires is that when they got stir-crazy they did stupid things. Last thing he wanted was to raise suspicion. The forest manor did her good allowing her to wander around and do something aside from being stuck in the manor.
Events passed, the Korean War and Vietnam War, Wagner viewed as great idiocies of American foreign policy. It was just stupid they should have never have been there in the first place. He shook his head when Kennedy was assassinated. He didn't understand why someone would shoot someone who was turning out to be a great leader that was adored by the public. In the days he came from assassination of a leader was almost never seen for good reasons. Bad or good there was always a bit of chaos when a leader was killed. Chaos that shouldn't be endured. However, the final straw didn't come until the September 11th Attacks. When they happened he looked at it with outrage. If they had such great security programs then why didn't they prevent this.
"They can destroy themselves, I have no interest in being in a nation that butchers her own citizens every-day." Wagner said with a growl. And with that he and the dear Lady Eleanor traveled again. A city for vampires, sounded like a dream and a myth at first when Wagner heard about in the late 1990s. Yet the more he grew disgusted with America the more he began to listen for information about this place. He began to travel again with Eleanor, enjoying her company and companionship as they slowly traveled. A few years later they found it.
Demaitre. An established haven for vampire-kind. Some of the greatest and most powerful vampires in the world living in this place. Wagner immediately purchased the largest available penthouse for himself and Eleanor and had the windows modified as well as the place redone in a tasteful manner. He loved the penthouse because some of the rooms had no windows at all. A perfect safe haven though he had the windows treated so light couldn't get in during the day. No sense in risking things. And thus the next chapter of Wagner's life begins. One can only wonder how he will fare in this city.
