Title: A Party In Immortal Eyes

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
Niko walked into the White Mice Nightclub, striding with a confidence nearly impossible to understand. At first glance, he appeared to be thin, almost emaciated, and a strut like his certainly didn't go with a frame that looked like it could be snapped like a willow branch. However, he still walked as if he were made of solid iron, a mischievous gleam in his deep green eyes.

"This is my type of party," he murmered in an amused tone. The music was good, the alchohol was flowing, and the women were dressed to kill. Or be killed, thought Nikolaus, this idea causing him to chuckle.

Chi was already seated on one of the many barstools. She was leaning back against the counter and the way she was poised made everyone know at first glance that she meant to be here. Despite her young looking age, she was a lot older than any mortal or immortal standing in this club. She knew it, her senses confirming what she already knew.

She wore for the evening a jean pleated miniskirt, with a red tank top. To cover the simple top she wore a black mesh that she had gotten in Europe long ago. Her natural silver hair was curled, something she rarely did, but decided that tonight she would do something different.

Men were already staring at her, but she disregarded them. She was here to be at peace. To some that single thought would be ironic. At peace in a club with pulsing music. If any asked what she meant by being at peace in a place like this, she would look at them and say to each there own.

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
Niko took a look around the White Mice. There were a few immortals, but one in particular caught his eye, for two reasons. She was both amazingly old and powerful, but, more important to him, she was a babe. Walking towards her, his smile gleaming, he sat down in a stool beside her.

"Hi there, cutie-ful," he said a grin on his face and a roguish cast to his eye. "Tender, could I get a White Russian here, and whatever this ravishing young lady would like?" He looked at the lady, noting a kind of serenity in her.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 06:20 PM (GMT)
Chi glanced to the other immortal and rolled her eyes. Were all men of the eras the same? She remember the knights of the Medieval time. Well they were fine and seemed respectful to some extent, though the books didn't show it. She had to say that she had never heard the compliment that he gave her. Points for originality, though it probably wouldn't get him anywhere. she was here to enjoy her time not to fool around with men.

She shook her head to the bar tender, her curls bouncing. "I'm ok thanks." Her drink had been hidden behind her body, which she now took and drank. She turned to the new vampire by her side. "Do you always flirt with women?" That was one thing with Chi, more often then not, she was a straightforward as an arrow. If she had to get to the point, she would.

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
Niko looked at the lady archly. "I flirt, as well as much more. Flirt. Play dirty. You name it." He took his White Russian from the bartender, taking a sip. "So, I do always flirt with women. Now that we've established that, is flirting going to get me anywhere?" he asked, a smirk on his face.

He took another sip from hiw White Russian, looking at her and tilting his head. Nikolaus van Heimlichtun, while childish and disgusting, was not a fool, and he began to assess the dangers of the woman sitting next to him. She was old, despite her teenage body, and she probably had the strength to crush him like an egg in direct combat. So, just avoid a fight, he told himself.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 10:14 PM (GMT)
Amusement tinted her lips. Was it going to get him anywhere? Probably not, considering that she was kinda with someone, but it was still iffy. "It all depends on how good you are at this flirting. Maybe it'll get you somewhere, maybe it won't. The question that needs an answer is are you willing to try?" She was a little bit like the Sphinx, asking question after question to stump you. if she liked you, she would stop trying to stump you.

She laughed, the sound like tinkling glass. She leaned closer to him, her eyes still dancing. She lowered her voice so only he would hear. "I don't need to fight you physically to crush you like an egg. All I need is my mind and my thoughts." She then leaned away and sipped at the cool alcoholic beverage. She didn't drink to get drunk, because she couldn't get drunk, but for the taste and social quality of it.

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
"You seem to think I underestimate you. I know quite well some of the powers of vampires your age. Yes, you could crush me with a thought, and I don't even have powers similar to that so I might resist. No, you won't do it for two simple reasons; you have no reason to kill me, and I'm too damn charming for you to do so for no reason," Niko said, holding back a laugh.

"Well, I'm lucky. Persistence is one of my blessings, as well as an ability to tell when I've gone too far. I'm not telekinetic by any means, but I can tell you find me too amusing to just crush me like a little ant." Niko was pushing it a little, but what was life without zest, and an eternity without risk was not worth living in his eyes.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 10:33 PM (GMT)
Chi lifted an eyebrow. "I do have no reason to kill you, but that doesn't mean that I won't kill you. Some vampires kill because they can, not because they have a reason to do so. I suppose that you are simply lucky then, I'm not in that mood." she almost never was though there were a few times where she wanted to kill another vampire. There was Stranger and Quintus, one she had killed and the other she had left for another.

Chi turned her face to look at him. "You don't know what charming is, perhaps you are charming enough for the mortal women, but I'm not like them. It takes a lot more then charm to win me over." Was she going to make it easy for him? Probably not, she liked being difficult, it was like playing hard to get. "I will admit that you do amuse me, I'll keep you around for now."

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
Niko smiled at her reference to mortal women. "Mortals," he scoffed. "I can get nearly any mortal woman I want, and I usually don't even need to use my powers. They can be so easy." He finished his drink, then ordered an entire bottle of vodka.

"Now, mortal women are what I resort to when I can't get vampire. Vampire women are so much more fun, but a lot more difficult; there much more resistant to my abilities, so I have to get by on being witty or serious, direct or smooth, whatever it takes. You're a perfect example; if I tried to use my powers of command on you, you'd shrug em' off, then squish me into juice. That means I have to win you over, fair and square."

He took his bottle of vodka, then drained a third of it in one shot. "I picked up a taste for the stuff in Russia. I lived there before the First War, and then served in the KGB for about 40 years." He told her this as a way to gain her trust, yet he also was fairly sure she could read the fact he was thinking this.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 10:56 PM (GMT)
Chi nodded. "It again depends on the women, some have so much will power. They could push you away and then the power comes into play. Of course taking a woman by force could make the woman scream rape, but then hopefully you don't go after virgins." She sipped her drink and saw that she had just finished it. She motioned to the bar tender. "Cosmo, please."

With her new drink in had, she turned her face to him. She chuckled. "i probably would shrug it off and turn the power back to you times 10. Then you would be my pet for as long as I wished. Interesting thought isn't it? I can amplify anything you throw at me with my own powers. Not many vampires decide to take me on at that point, they are too scared or perhaps they are simply being careful."

She shrugged. "Never been to Russia, though i met a vampire who was born there. I preferred the coast, love water." Perhaps telling him a bit of herself wasn't too bad. She didn't have to tell him her life story, but a bit wasn't hurting anyone.

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
"Rape's no fun. You get what you give, and I prefer to get pleasure back for pleasure given," he said, no blush or sign of shame. "As for your power, I really don't care too much, at least as long as you've decided not to kill me, control me, and anything else you've considered that I haven't." he said, smiling. Niko was an animal, sure enough, but a sophisticated one, comparatively. He admitted quite calmly to himself that she was well beyond him in many ways. Still, if she likes to be the one with the power in a relationship, I might get some, he thought, chuckling as he knew she could read his thoughts.

He took another swill of his vodka. "Alright, should I just go find some easier vampire or a mortal? I'm gettin' kind of bored here. Could I at least get a dance?" He stood up, drinking down the last of his vodka, then threw his bottle over his shoulder towards a trash can.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
Chi lifted an eyebrow. She always called the shots, no one got the best of her, she was the one that was on top and the one that decided almost everything, though if a man wanted to be romantic, she would probably accept it willingly. She liked charming people and she wasn't an animal, she was a sophisticated vampire that knew what she wanted.

She had read his thoughts, there wasn't much one so young could do to block her, but she was amused. "Just so we are clear on something, you won't be getting any. I don't mind the dancing and the fun, but that stops outside the bedroom. The bedroom is mine alone. No one is allowed in unless I let them in." He wouldn't be getting any. She was a woman on a mission, besides would she disrupt her chance with her fledgling that she hadn't seen in over 2000 years? No, no she wouldn't. "If you still want that dance now, I am more than willing to dance with you."

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 11:19 PM (GMT)
Niko looked at her, sighing. "Well, it would be pretty pathetic of me to take back on the dance, so why not." He didn't even try to hide his regrets. Oh well, it probably wouldn't be fun with her being in charge anyways, he thought. He stepped out onto the dance floor, looking at her. "Ready when you are," he said. "Oh, as you've probably plucked out of my mind, along with most of my life, my name's Niko. You are?" he asked.

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 11:24 PM (GMT)
Chi smiled, well at least he was going to be a gentleman. She went with him to the floor. "I've barely plucked anything from your mind, only thoughts that were on top. I don't go around reading people's deepest and innermost secrets. To get that they would go insane. I'm Chi, it stands for two names that I carried in my youth and I found something common to them."

She smiled. It can be fun with her in charge she is also, very open to try almost anything, short of being raped. Some would be surprised and she was also very flexible and everything about her was small and young.

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
"Well, I thank you for respecting my privacy, and it's probably best you stay ou of there. It might bother you." Nikolaus was sure that she was no innocent, but he still saw some kind of purity in her, and it seemed the sort of thing that would be bothered by an exposure to his history. He was an animal; he made no apologies to that fact.

"So, what kind of dance are you fond of? I'm sure I could get something classical if that's your taste, or is the modern crap they call dance good enough for you?" he asked Chi. He was highly curious about her, even if she wasn't going to play on his preferred level. "And, if it doesn't seem rude, could I ask what Coven you're from?" He asked this to see where a mysterious young lady like her might come from. His personal opinion of the Covens was rather insulting, but they might be good for others...

Pandora Lorrain - August 14, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Chi looked at him and didn't comment. He seemed to think her pure, if only he knew how many people she had killed to survive this long. If only he knew that she had probably killed more people then she actually had to. She killed bandits, destroyed mercenary camps and defended herself against full out military campaigns. She had been young once too, only looking for fun.

she shrugged. "Either is fine, I know how to dance to both, but putting classical music in here, you will most likely cause a riot. Besides, I'm not dressed for classical dancing." she preferred flowing dresses and something covered her legs, what she wore now was for hip hop and rap. "How about i take you upon that offer of classical another time? If you still want that is."

Enigmatae - August 14, 2007 11:46 PM (GMT)
He grinned at her. "Maybe, if I'm not busy at that next time." He stepped out into the floor, and started to dance. He danced like a madman, because that was what he was. He danced with his new....he wasn't sure what to call her. He didn't have what one could call friends; he simply didn't care enough about anyone else. Even his nightly little romps were nothing more than a vent for his endless passion. Acquaintance would probably be the best word for the person he danced with out of courtesy, for Nikolaus was still courteous, if a little crude in his language.

He remembered back to the night before he was turned. His sire, so innocent. Such a fool. She had tried to teach him a better way to live. Instead she ended up becoming his nightly amusement. Even back in his days as a mortal he had amazing powers of persuasion at his disposal, and he used all of them to draw that moralistic young missionary into the centre of his lecherous hell.

Niko snapped back to the present, paying attention to his dance partner. She was similar. Not innocent; she had killed and he could tell. But she seemed to be moralistic in a similar way. She hadn't just taken up his offer with no thought. He sure as hell would have if their places had been reversed. No, she had some sort of guiding scruples. He was fairly sure he wasn't so ugly that a girl would turn him down just on looks. He chuckled at these thoughts, wondering what his thoughts were causing his little dance partner to think about...

Pandora Lorrain - August 17, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Chi grinned. "Then I'll have to make sure that you aren't busy at this future time." She would make so sure of it that it couldn't be any worse. Unlike her companion, who danced like a madman, she danced fluidly and graceful. It was like she was doing a ritual and she knew each step perfectly.

If she was innocent, then there was no word to describe the world she lived in. She had guidelines yes, but that was simply to make sure that she didn't do anything stupid. It was like a safeguard in her life. Something she could always refer to to see if she had done the wrong thing. There were things that she changed, but the rules were basically all the same.

Chi didn't do anything unless she was unsure or didn't want to. She loved to dance and she sticked to it, she didn't mind much what her company thought, yet she would reassure him. "You aren't bad looking don't worry about that."

Enigmatae - August 17, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
"Well, that's a relief," he said, laughing. He stopped dancing, stepping off the dance floor. Looking around, he saw a group of about twenty of your run-of-the-mill ghetto gangsters. They were dressed in jeans two-sizes too large, hoodies that drowned out their appearances. They were talking, laughing, and a few of them had MP3 players going, listening mostly to Eminem from the sounds of it.

'Well, if you excuse me, Chi, I'm feeling a little belligerent." He began to make his way towards the group of bad boys, an evil gleam in his eye, when he stopped. "Hey, Chi. Have you indulged your violent impulses lately? If no, care to join me?"
