I notice that there is only a very brief history of Demaitre that basically just states how it came into being and when. Then it says a little about it presently and that's it.

Weren't there any major events in the history of the city that would be noteworthy? I was only looking because I was trying to find something to help me complete the history for this new vampire I'm creating. I was thinking that since my character invested in the lumber and iron industries that essentially got Demaitre started, it might be interesting to put some more of Demaitre's history into it - but there's really nothing there. I know the United States changed drastically throughout the twentieth century, but what about Demaitre? Did it go through the same changes that, say, New York went through? The cultural changes? What about major events and such?

I'm just trying to find some substance in Demaitre, and I'm not finding any.

Yes, it’s safe to assume that there were many significant events that occurred in Demaitre’s history, but what you see in the Info section is a hurried description in the style of a dictionary.com entry on other large Canadian cities. That’s why it’s lacking ‘substance’. Most of those dictionary entries do. (It does say it’s a only a brief history, though… =P )

It’s probably worth looking into writing a more detailed history for the city. That could take awhile, however, so be prepared for a wait. Did you have any suggestions?
