Title: SEarch for something...
Description: for Wing's Brandy
Pandora Lorrain - July 13, 2007 05:41 AM (GMT)
Dmitri was leading Brandy into the Tarepha lair. Well if it could be called that. He would try not to go too deep inside, a non-Tarepha in the TArepha could get him in trouble and frankly he liked his blood where it was. The place that he knew about was on the outskirts of the coven and far from the center, which was near the Sinister Puppet. Hopefully it wouldn't cause too many problems.
He made sure that the way they took wouldn't be hampered by any piece of clothing. Of course coming down in the sewers with your best clothes there is a chance that they could get dirty. He helped her along making sure that she didn't step in anything unpleasant and tried to locate such items before she stepped in it.
He frowned and suddenly stopped, there had been a bridge that went over the next sewer part yet it was now gone. He knew of a way to get across yet, he doubted that she would let him carry her across, unless she had something in her arsenal to help. "We have to cross. Do you need any help or are you going to be fine?"

The smell seemed to be lessened in this part of the sewers for some reason. But Brandy was mainly concerned with her dress. She hadn't gotten anything on it - yet - but it wasn't exactly a two-dollar gown. It had actually been quite expensive, even if it had been on sale. Of course, if this place was what she was hoping it was, she wouldn't need to worry about sales ever again. She'd make her own sales.
At Dmitri's words, she smiled. There was a very slight ledge surrounding the place where the bridge should have been - just enough room.
"I'll be fine."
She then turned into a fine silver mist - she was getting quite good at that, actually - and slipped along the extremely narrow ledge to rematerialize with a smirk on the other side of the gap.
"Well," she said, "you coming?"
Teasing laughter danced in her eyes.

Dmitri simply looked at her as she misted across. "An Ishak in every way, then again I shouldn't be surprised, especially if your sire is one." Well he hadn't been surprised byt the power in itself, the thing that did surprise him was the fact that she used it, she was awfully young for powers, but then again there was a time for everything.
He jumped across and landed smoothly on the other side. All his powers were physical and his jumping was almost as good as flying, he could almost go anywhere. He motioned to her to follow him. "This way, we are almost there."
(OOC: So i was wondering if perhaps we could have Npcs that were Tarepha annoy them or Josh come down a find them... Only an idea)
Wings of Darkness - July 13, 2007 05:57 AM (GMT)
She nodded and followed.
"I would have done that, but I this dress isn't made for jumping."
Plus, she liked showing off. But she was right, though: the dress was made for dancing, not jumping. She couldn't even properly run in this dress. But at least she looked drop-dead gorgeous in it. It struck her then, though, that she was still wearing her mask.
"By the way, you probably want to see my face. Just so we're on even terms here."
She removed the mask very carefully as she followed Dmitri and held onto it along with the small handbag she'd brought with her - just in case she had a make-up emergency, of course. The mask took a second to remove, considering the type of mask it was, but Josh had shown her how to get it off without ruining her beautiful lashes that he'd done up for her. He was good with make-up, she had to admit.

Dmitri turned to look at her as she took the mask off, he simply looked knowing that he wouldn't fall anywhere. "Pretty." That was the only comment he made, but then he wasn't much of a person to describe what he saw, besides he was busy trying to remember where it was exactly.
He stopped and turned pushing aside a hanging that was blocking his way and holding it up for. "Welcome to the place." It was dirty and it showed that it hadn't been used in quite some time. Dmitri had probably been the last one to use it. "Well it would seem that you are in luck, it's been unused since I left."

Brandy smiled. Clearly, the man wasn't one to gush over a girl. But at least he admired her eyes. Or maybe just her face all in all. That was something, anyway.
"Thank you."
She might have been a party girl with an attitude, but she wasn't a complete bitch - not all the time, anyway. She was a bit bossy at times, even pushy, sure. But sometimes she could be nice.
They'd finally arrived, and Brandy stepped in to take a look around. The smell of the sewers was almost nonexistent here. There was a heavy smell of dust, but that could be dealt with fairly easily. Of course, she could still smell the sewers even in here - only a mortal wouldn't have been able to - but she could block it out this far from it.
The place certainly was quite roomy. It was almost double the size of her bedroom at home, and she had a very large bedroom. It had a high ceiling, too, with what looked like iron work. Pipes, mostly, but though they were obviously very sturdy it seemed they hadn't been used in a while. They'd make a good perch to defend from if need be. Besides that, she could definitely make some noise down here - a lot of noise - and not have to worry about anyone getting pissed. Except maybe the local coven. A day's work and she could have this place spotless.
She nodded as she looked around the place. There was even a little place off in the far right corner that could be used as a cubby hole. It was really just a rectangular hole in the wall. She checked it out and found that the back wall of the tall space was too thick for a mortal to get through, but that a vampire would have no problem moving aside a piece of wall that had separated. Push in and to the side a bit, and you had yourself a passage - leading right into a much smaller but still liveable room. She'd have to crouch to get into the tunnel, but the room looked good from where she stood. She went into the room and, sure enough, it was perfect. She came back and replaced the wall, then stepped back into Dmitri's line of sight.
"It's perfect. I'll take it. And...since I'll be living here, I might as well join the Tarepha."
She folded her arms over her chest now, still holding the handbag and mask, and said, "So, how do I go about joining them? I don't have to take part in some weird vampire ritual or anything like that, do I?"
She gave him a look that said, "Over my dead body." Of course, technically, she was already dead - but the look was there, still.
Brandy doubted that stereo system had left the store yet. It was pretty expensive, which is why it had been there as long as it had. But now, she didn't need to worry about money. She never would again, either.

Dmitri could gush over girls or women, but there were times for that and this wasn't one of those times. She was a very beautiful woman, but this wasn't quite the place to tell her, besides he didn't want her to get the wrong impression. He was trying to be a gentlemen the way Chi had taught him. He had lived in France during the Renaissance.
Dmitri could see the way she looked around and was pleased that she approved. "I'm glad that you like it." He had used the area for a while as a place to store things, but now it was empty and he lived in the city, in an apartment.
He looked at her and smiled. "What will your pretty boy say, when he realizes that you'll have a place in the sewers and join the Tarepha?" He was simply curious. He lifted an eyebrow, a ritual? Come on! "This isn't a frat. You are going to have to talk to Euthalia, leader of the Tarepha and whatever you do, respect her. She may look like a six year old, but she isn't one. She could tear you apart with a thought." He thought that Brandy would be a good addition to the coven, so he wanted her to be prepared.
Wings of Darkness - July 13, 2007 09:30 PM (GMT)
Brandy nodded.
"Then I've got a couple of things I want to do. Should I just meet you back at the Masquerade, and then you can introduce me to Euthalia when she arrives?"
She was going to get that stereo system, that's what she was going to do. Since she could turn into mist, it wouldn't be a problem getting in. She also wanted to get a few other things, and since she could just hide everything in her house for a night - there were a lot of good hiding places in that old place, which would fetch her a lot of money when she sold it - she could then clean this place up, take her bed apart, and move it and the contraband here tomorrow night.
Pandora Lorrain - July 14, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
Dmitri hesitated and decided that he would present her to Euthalia. Euthalia was a picky person and he hoped that this younger vampire would be able to keep her mouth shut when necessary. So far she had done good. "Sure we can head back to the Masquerade and you can meet Euthalia there as soon as she gets there."
He frowned and realized that she kept evading a question or he kept forgetting to ask, perhaps he simply imagined asking her. "So how will your pretty boy take you joining the Tarepha?" Most over vampire covens rejected the Tarepha forcefully and stayed out of their way. They were dangerous and they realized that.

((Oh, sorry...I forgot to answer that one. -_- You can slug me, if you want. LOL))
"Don't know. He might look at me different, but there are other boys that can please me - if I let them. Besides, Josh is pretty cool about most things."
Brandy shrugged.
"If he doesn't like it, too bad. I know Hale'll be pissed, but he can go fuck himself. He said himself that which coven I joined was my choice, and mine alone. Anyway, yeah. So, I'll just meet you back at the Masquerade, then."
She carefully replaced her mask. It would be useful in concealing her identity if a mortal was to discover her - not that she couldn't handle him or her, of course, and easily at that. She smiled through the mask.
"See you in an hour or two, then. And thanks. I really appreciate it."
She giggled. She actually giggled. And she wasn't the type to giggle - well, unless she was around Josh. But that was different.'
"Just think of all the money I'll be saving."
She'd need to pick up a generator, too, but that wasn't a problem. With that, though, she left. She had an excellent memory, and she knew that she'd have no trouble finding this place again.
