Title: Dancing and Twirling
Description: -Dio (Love the Band ;) ) And open!

PushMyButtons - July 6, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
Goody! A night off finally! Two whole weeks without a break at all and now she had the night and tomorrow off! There was only one thing she could do about that. Party!

Sure she was a good girl most of the times, but she was Irish after all. And what young adult didn't love to just let loose and kick back?

Her jeans were tight, but not painted on, the black leather boots she wore gave her another three inches on her height, and the black halter made her look even more curvy than she was. And what she really was, was ready to hit the dance floor!

She had tried to get a couple of her buddies from the precinct down here too, but they either had prior commitments or had to work tomorrow.

Ah, oh well! She could dance by herself just fine, something she was proving five minutes after she was in the door. Who said you had to get drunk to know how to dance? Hah, she was doing just fine sober really. What she really needed was a good guy to dance with. One that would be fun to drink with even for after the dancing. Someone just to have a good time with.

Pity she hadn't been able to get a hold of Lance. He would have been a lot of fun too.

Ah well, maybe next time he'd pick up his phone or something. Whatever. All that really mattered now was the dancing, the music that had adjusted her pulse to beat in time with the blaring music. The DJ nights were always better than live bands really. Live bands could be so limited in their music sometimes....

All was settled. It was a new beginning to an olden end. His life moving far behind and at the same time pulling way too far ahead to adjust. His hopes having been lifted and still held high he moved off with his lover, where ever she may have been; their sentimentals and little nicknacks of belongings wouldn't so much as arrive till the following morning. Still, this was quite the challenge for him. New setting, new way of life, and at last everything besides his name had changed. Stress burdening down there was only one way that he knew how to relieve it. Well, two or three but none of his stuff was here and his woman was nowhere to be found at the moment.

Alcohol~! The sweet savory beverage which we all come to know and love in short or mass quantities! Whether it be for fun, for relief, or just to put on a couple of pounds there was almost no excuse not to. Besides cancer, or something along those lines, BUT hey! Who cares? He doesn't.

Casually attired his hair was lightly greased over with his black hat pulled over his hair, the silver logo of dragon force atop of it. To match he had fitten into a classic detriot bought concert shirt that also was the same theme, a knight shearing it's blade through a dragon's heart as gore obviously was present on the image. Of course his image was never complete without his famous pair of SHORTS! Yes this man could wear shorts anywhere. They themselves having been a tattered and worn pair of jeans.

The smoke was thick, pushing through it as though trying to worm your way through a giant spider web that just happened to pop up. Eventually his eyes had adjusted and his vision became less hazy. It seemed once he had gotten to the outter rim of the bar and past the raving dancers he was home free.

Hesitating to order a drink he glanced around the crowd, taking it all in through partial glimpses. He became enthrulled by the music, tapping his foot, or bobbing his head where ever he moved to. Sure he was a lover of it, but the thing was this man couldn't dance. Yet, he was a sad man. Being as corny as he was he walked out onto the dance floor and smirked a menacing smirk. "Oh yeah, it's time alright", having spoken outloud to himself.

Putting one hand before him he pulled it back as though he was playing charades. "Lets start the lawn mower!", pulling back each time as though it were accomplishing something. After a few more attempts he put his hands parallel and pushed them back and forth infront of him. Moving aimlessly inward towards the crowd. "Now lets get that grass", he spoke as though someone was listening and join into his antics. To say the least he may have been some kind of rebel. Or just mistaken as a drunk.

Either way he found it remarkabley fun.

PushMyButtons - July 6, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
It was a good thing she didn't hear some idiot yelling about 'starting the lawn mower' and 'cutting the grass'. She probably would have cuffed him to a table furthest away from the dance floor if she did. Do not tempt her. She had a pair in the small backpack she wore when riding her bike. Hmmm... Either that or the taser would have worked well.

She was so absorbed in the music that it took her completely by surprised that when she moved backwards a bit as someone moved closer to her that she bumped into someone.

It caught her so off guard actually that she gasped and when trying to catch herself from a stumble that wouldn't have been so bad, she grabbed the guy she ran into and ended up bringing him down with her.

"Oh God! I'm so sorry!" She said trying to hold back a laugh, giggling all the while. "You startled me and well kinda got all jumpy!" She said as her face turned red. Yeah, that was what happened when she got embarrassed. She got giggly and red as a strawberry.

Dioscuri - July 6, 2007 03:28 AM (GMT)
It wasn't long before he was off the dance floor. It was bound to happen sooner or later with the way he was going at it though. Having been at the side of his body he slanted, and landed on his left shoulder blade then rolling down to his back pressing onto the ground. Soon accompanied by another weight which fell ontop of him, his hands holding onto her hips if not slightly above to keep her from completely clashing into him and bashing their skulls together. "Umph..", having made his head spin for the moment before he blinked it off in a mere moment's instance.

He was a bit clueless, always one to take it slow and easy. Not all in at once he then finally realized there was someone atop of him. "Huh?...Oh, are you okay?", he questioned still being a little oblivious and not taking any details in. Then it wasn't very long before he came completely to his senses and come to the conclusion it was a girl. "Oh...I'm sorry..my bad", he spoke as he propped himself up into sitting. If she'd let him he would've moved her so it would've been easier for her to stand. His cheeks slightly blushing from the awkward position, wondering how long it would take for her to get up so he could stand.

What trouble he had gotten into this time, having come to a new city and he was already being a klutz. He was a little shy but quite rediculious as he always pushing himself to show his inner dork in a comedic sort of way.

"I really am sorry, if it's not too much I'd like to repay you. Maybe get you a drink or something? I don't know", having felt the blame as he always took it upon himself too hastey he felt the need to offer her some sort of comfort but then almost retracted the offer in fear of making an ass of himself. He was unaware of the situation still. He didn't know who she was, or what had happened for the most part. For all he knew she could've run across the room and tackled him. In the end he probably did deserve it though.

PushMyButtons - July 6, 2007 03:45 AM (GMT)
It took her a minute to realize that she needed to get up, otherwise she was just basically sitting on his lap with his hands on her hips. Not really a bad position but well... For her it was rather embarrassing, the girl who never had a boyfriend.

"Nono!" She stammered as she shook her head, standing up as she brushed herself off. "It uh, was really my fault. Honest! I wasn't watching where I was going! I'm sorry, really!" She said loudly over the music, offering him a hand up. "I'm Livy! And I think I owe you the drink!" She said with a giggle.

Well falling on someone wasn't always that bad really, it could lead to interesting things, places and situations.

She would have asked him if he was okay, but he seemed it. So to her that would just have been a waste of time really. But oh! He had asked hadn't he!

"Me? Oh, I'm okay! You cushioned my fall nicely really!" She giggled. He probably thought she was drunk. "But uh, what about you! Are you okay? I mean I didn't hurt you did I?" Her hand was still out there, offering him help up.

Dioscuri - July 6, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
He sat there, almost helplessly. Staring up at her as she spilled word after word out in the chaos the music stirred. Having attempted to pay attention to everything she said he semi failed. After she having said he cushioned her fall he looked down to his tummy and couldn't help but think constantly, 'I knew people thought I was fat!'. Not in a bad way but more or less just laughing at himself on the inside. His mind finally being calmed in admist it's thought as she asked if he was alright. "fa-t...er..no, no I'm good. Thanks though."

Propping one hand onto his knee and the other into her hand he pushed and pulled his way up. Having to look down at her due to the fact he was nearly a foot taller then she was. "Well..Perhaps we could buy each other a couple of rounds each then. We both seem to be at fault here. Heh.", he kind of chuckled as though he was easing up from the tension. It didn't take long before he realized he was still holding her hand from getting up and he released it nervously. Pulling it from behind his back then the other to take off his hat for a moment. Scratching lightly at his scalp under small tuffs of hair then putting the hat back on.

His arm stretched out gesturing his hand towards a small opening in the crowd heading directly to the bar. The small gap closing soon enough before they'd be swallowed by the crowd again and have to find an alternative route. Such was always the troublesome part of getting int he heart and back out again without being swarmed and nearly crushed between bodies.

He started to do small jog as though in a hurry, but still glancing back to see if she was coming. Not wanting to lose her in the crowd of people he puhsed back with his arm the occasional drunkard that stumbled back until he could find his way out into the open. Letting her take the lead from there he would follow and then let her make the first move. Seeing as in good honest reality this situation he never stumbled upon too often. Most people that fall on him ended up blaming him and try to assault him or pass out on him. It was a sad curse, but things like that do happen.

Wings of Darkness - July 6, 2007 04:08 AM (GMT)
Ah, but they weren't the only ones partying, of course. Brandy was there, too...and she loved a party. And now that she had some new powers to aid her, she'd found that her agility and speed - and the inability to exhaust herself - had made her a far better dancer. She moved with the beat, jived with the music, and loved every minute of it. She'd even slipped the DJ a little vampiric hypnosis to get him to mix in her favorite artist quite a bit more - Mandy Moore. Most people thought she was out of style, but personally, Brandy didn't give a shit. She was here for the vodka and the dancing - that was it. She'd fed twice already - she'd been extra thirsty - so she didn't need the blood. Now she moved in and out of the crowd, weaving and twisting and turning in time to the music. The tight-knit crowd made it hotter and more fun all at the same time. Anybody watching her could easily tell she knew what she was doing. She was a dancer by blood, born and bred! That was her passion, you see, and her 'gift' - vampirism notwithstanding.

°Anissa - July 6, 2007 04:27 AM (GMT)
She felt herself wince at the sound of the music. It was incredibly loud, and she felt sorry for anybody who slept nearby. She supposed the constant rhythm would have been welcoming if she wasn't so tired. The other rare times she visited a club, she had been all for it, but this time she wasn't going to stay all night and dance. Her feet were killing her from walking and standing on hard flooring.

Taking in a deep breath, Nisa let it out quickly before stepping past the doorway and into the commotion. The smell of body odor and smoke hit her hard. She immediately wrinkled her nose in disgust. That was the bad thing about clubs packed with over eighty people. The horrible stench. Maybe they should start putting changing rooms and bathtubs in clubs... that way the smell wouldn't be so intolerable.

Sliding through the crowd, Nisa tried her hardest not to be pressed against more than one body. It would've been smarter to go home first, change into something more club-material, and then come back, but no, she was wearing her nurse's uniform, plus she wanted to hurry over and meet Sephy before it got too late. She had work tomorrow - it would be her third day - and she decided to meet him and have just a *few* drinks... she wasn't too heavy a drinker anyway. Yet she knew it would be good for her to get out more and spend some time with Sephy.

Squeezing through the dancing monkeys, she nearly regretted coming in at all. For once, Nisa felt a sharp pang of anger overcome her. She sucked in a breath and held it. Some *chick* was all over her guy! Lounging on top of him and giggling! Without noticing, her fists clenched together tightly. What the hell was he doing?!!

Nisa watched them stand together - her eyes narrowed when more giggling commenced - and head to the bar. Did he forget that she was coming? Was he so honestly absorbed in some other girl that he just forgot? Oh, the jealous thoughts she was having. Why if she had a syringe on her.... Crossing her arms, she carefully followed Sephy until they were at the bar, then she lifted her fist and made ready to punch his upper arm.

"Miss me?"

PushMyButtons - July 6, 2007 04:33 AM (GMT)
Mandy Moore? She was never in style to begin with. Which was why when the music suddenly changed from the fast paced techno to the... Livy only described it as yowling, music of the teenie-boppers she winced.

"Okay, I guess dancing is over." She said with a dark laugh as they weaved and bobbed their way to the bar.

Taking his hand with a grin as the crowd parted they made their way to the end well, away from the noise. Not music, noise. What the heck had come over the DJ? He was usually really good too...

"Well, since we both think that it's our own faults and all, I'll by first rounds, you buy seconds and all that jazz. How bout it?" She waved the tender over. "Yeah, can I get a crown Royal and Sprite please? Lighter on the sprite."

"Can I see some ID girlie?" The tender asked. But Livy only sighed, rolled her eyes and pulled her ID from her back pocket. "Alright Miss. McFarlane. Sure thing." The tender winked.

"Joe! That's Officer McFarlane to you! How many times do I have to tell you?" She said sticking out her tongue quite childishly. But then she turned her head to her companion. "And what do you want? Joe here can do about anything and it always tastes perfect. Well, maybe after the fourth or fifth drink." She teased.

Dioscuri - July 6, 2007 04:53 AM (GMT)
Finally having made it to their destination before more disaster had reared it left him with a sigh of relief. It didn't take long however before doom lurked once again, having come in the form of a fist it knocked right into his shoulder. The same one he had landed on as well. His luck being the worst it could have been he was already sitting at a bar stool or whatever propped infront of the counter so his body weight had shifted from the side and lifted itself up and off the chair towards the ground. Thump. Once more he was on his back, head spinning in circles just without the stars.

It took another moment before he had climbed back to his own feet. "...Nisa?", he questioned to himself outloud almost wondering where she had come from. Forgetful as he was he had brought the memory back to himself that she was coming. "Oh..Nisa, yeah. Glad you could join me. How was work? Oh, and this is..", he paused thinking to himself. Not even recalling so much as a name, from the newfound stranger.

"Well. I guess I haven't even introduced myself quite yet either.", having now sat back down and patting the seat next to him for Nisa to come and join him. He glanced back to the friendly stranger. "Heh. My name's Dustin. Some call me Tex, or Sephy if you prefer. And, she's Anissa. My partner in life so to speak.", chuckling all the while.

Still a nervous wreck from having gone into random encounters from being found again by his lover then once again in trying not to lose one relation over another. It was still a new city to him and all the friends he could get would prove to be valuable beyond words. Not to mention he was still without a job. He spent most of his life enjoying his hobbies rather then attend college. With what schooling he did have it didn't so much as cover up his skill as more or less a bartender of his own. Mostly known for his field and knowledge over coffees rather then alcohol. Seeing as his experiance from bartending was illegal when he was underage himself and still serving simple drinks rather then exotic at the local party or kegger.

None the less he was among friends, or at least ones he'd hope wouldn't become mad at him for his simple actions.

PushMyButtons - July 6, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
She was smiling one moment and she gasped the next as a woman cam and just smacked him upside the head.

Wow... Uhhh...

Livy stood from her chair. "Uh, I'm Olivia. But maybe I should go." She said with a small smile. She didn't mean to get the guy in trouble with his girl, wasn't like that at all. "But yeah, sorry about falling on you like that again. Uh, you two feel free to get what you want. Joe can just put it on my tab for ya no problem." She said with a nervous smile. If that was the way she treated the guy she loved... What about the one who she thought was flirting with the guy she loved?

That wasn't the case at all, but it wasn't like she could really prove it, and if the woman was angry enough...

"Uh, maybe I'll see you guys around. Hopefully not while I'm on duty, but maybe some night around here later on yeah?"

Wings of Darkness - July 6, 2007 05:14 AM (GMT)
Her blood pumped with the music, flooding her brain with sweet, wonderful noise and the feeling of the bodies pressed close together washed over her. Tight circles of people surrounded her, pulsing, dancing, moving, shifting, churning up a great mix of moves and style. She shook what her momma gave her and twisted like she was a girl out of the fifties. She moved and grooved like she was a dance herself, instead of a dancer by extremely pleasant hobby and great talent. She'd won several competitions, and it showed. She was born for this. She was this.

Finally, though, she decided to get some more vodka. She wanted the taste more than anything else. She was sitting down at what was probably the only empty table in the joint at the moment when she noticed some people nearby having an argument. From the sound of things, it was a very interesting argument. Ah, jealousy. It was amusing. She smirked as she sipped her vodka.

Dioscuri - July 6, 2007 05:29 AM (GMT)
Curses! His luck was befalling him even more. From a completely random encounter washed away another chance at making a friend and he didn't so much as even catch her name. It was depressing, and a silly reason to leave. Yet, he had no reason to stop her other then to get himself into more trouble then he already was in. It only went to show that'd he'd have to make all his friends in secret or somehow without her scaring them all away. Not that he didn't like her around it's just hard to watch such fortune go down the drain.

"Oh..ok, I guess if you want to I'll see you later then. Or..whatnot", he was hesitant as though he had just missed another oppertunity. None the less it was her decision and not his to make for her. Not to mention he didn't even know her name so they could ever stay in touch just that she was a cop. Good thing he wasn't completely dumb, seeing as the bartender knew her well enough to slip her name and perhaps a phone number to him later on for a little incentive. Not that would go over smoothly at the time at hand with Nisa hovering about.

It was getting late, maybe they'd just have to skip the few drinks and head home for the night. Even he was a bit worn out from the chaos. The next day he would have to look for work or at least something else to do with his time until he could find a job to keep himself busy and bring in some sort of income.

°Anissa - July 6, 2007 06:01 AM (GMT)
(OoC: nisa didnt hit sephy on his head, she punched his arm... in a light attention-grabbing gesture... ah well. XD this is fun, haha.)

As to her previous question, 'miss me?', Nisa frowned at Dustin.

"I guess I'll take that as a no then." Her anger only grew and she could feel her cheeks heating up. Funny, she didn't even have one drink yet... Thinking about alcohol, she marched over to the tender- completely ignoring the empty seat next to Dustin-, and stretched over him, trying to get the man's attention.

"'Scuse me! Can I get a cocktail please?" She blinked at the strength of her own voice. Heh, different emotions caused new things. It was kinda funny for her small self to be talking so loudly.

Taking the drink in hand, she averted her eyes to the chick before them, waving her hand in the air in a quick gesture while she took a rather deep sip from the glass. "No, no. You don't have to go anywhere. Please, take a seat... continue having a good time with this guy here," she said, smiling somewhat sweetly as best she could as she looked at Dustin. "I don't mind at all. I mean...," she paused to chuckle, "it isn't like you were going to take him home or something, right?" Another laugh came from her. "Yeah, you two have fun together, but me, I think... I'll just go over there."

Nisa didn't say another thing, she began to head toward the seemingly and only empty table in the joint. Another young woman (wings) was seated at it, but Nisa wasn't in the mood to be polite and ask to sit there. She quickly took her seat and busied herself with the cocktail while mumbling something about stupid dance clubs and its smelly ass people.

Wings of Darkness - July 6, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
((Yay!! ^_^ ))

Brandy's smirk deepened of its own accord, and she ended up trying to hide it with a deep drink of vodka. That didn't work too well, as she ended up lightly choking. She cleared her throat quickly, swallowing, and downed the rest of it to show she really did know how to drink vodka. She'd done it before, after all. Straight-up vodka was the best way to get drunk. Of course, she was a vampire now and couldn't really get drunk - not the way she could have as a mortal - but it was still fun. The taste was certainly satisfying enough. Still smiling, but trying not to smile too much, she addressed the other girl.

"Bad night?"

°Anissa - July 6, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
Over the noise of the music, Nisa heard someone speak to her. She turned her head toward the young woman she knew was sitting at the table with her. From far away, Nisa couldn't really see the girl, but now, close up, she could tell she was sitting next to one of the beauties in the club. The light was reflecting off of her large golden earrings. Nisa took another sip of her drink before setting it down.

She nodded, keeping her eyes on the woman. "You could call it that, yeah." She sighed, not wanting to complain to some stranger that she didnt even know and that she didn't want to annoy. "You seem to be enjoying yourself, though. Atleast somebody is." And Sephy. He had definitely been enjoying himself before she came along, that was for sure. Nisa picked up her drink and took another long sip.

(Sorry its so short, I have to leave in a few minutes. >.<; And sorry if I don't post again anytime soon, but I will try to tonight atleast. )

Wings of Darkness - July 7, 2007 04:32 AM (GMT)
((No prob. I just got back myself.))

"Sorry to hear that. Anything I can do to help?"

God, please say no.

No, she wasn't praying. Not really. She was just saying it to be - well, human. Mentally, she winced at the word. She was no longer anything resembling human, except in outward appearance.

°Anissa - July 10, 2007 08:38 PM (GMT)
"Yeah, you can kill him for me," she told her, joking, her eyes still focused on Dustin. Although her tone was bittersweet, she definitely didn't mean it. If Sephy died, so would she. Of course, her anger was telling her otherwise, but then again, emotions did get the best of people.

Especially the nicest people.

Nisa lifted the rim of the glass to her lips and bit down on it to stop herself from saying anything else. Looking back at the woman seated at the table with her, she let out a loud sigh and replaced the cocktail on top of the table. Something deep within told Nisa to go home already, to calm down, don't stay at the club. That nagging little voice.

You have work tomorrow...
Yeah, yeah. I know..
You should hurry home.
Yeah, I should...

But the music and the drink, they were taking effect on her. She wanted to stay and have a good time. A smile creeped onto her lips. A very small one at that.

"I'm Nisa." She held out her hand to shake the other girl's own, feeling that stating her name was a good enough introduction.

Wings of Darkness - July 11, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
"Brandy."

She shook the girl's hand with a small smile upon her lips, being careful not to reveal the razor-sharp fangs concealed beneath. She noticed the girl didn't drink anything from the glass, but instead bit down on it. How...mortal. She was trying not to say something. Heh. Well, she didn't care if she did or not. It wasn't her business, and she had no intention of getting involved. Unless, of course, she really did want the guy dead - which Brandy seriously doubted, especially considering the look she'd just thrown at the guy - in which case, she'd happily oblige him. Who was she to say no to a free meal, after all?

°Anissa - July 13, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
For a moment, she thought the other wanted a new drink, but then it dawned on her that "Brandy" was actually her name. She smiled widely, trying not to laugh at her own ignorance. At the same time, she pushed her drink off to the side. Alcohol-- give it some time and it'll make you stupid. She didn't really want to make a complete fool of herself.

Eh, nevermind that. Already a fool when she came in and let her temper take over. Damn.

She tried not to glance over at Sephy, but it was hard... ah, she couldn't even see him. Other people had gathered in front of the bar to mingle, so her view of him was blocked. Were they even still there? For a split second, the thought of both of them leaving together caused her to become mad once again, but then she saw the back of his head, barely, and the emotion deflated like a balloon.

She turned to Brandy, to avert her eyes from the bar. "Do you come here often?" The woman appeared as if she did. So elegantly poised and calm looking.

Wings of Darkness - July 13, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
((LMAO Elegantly poised and calm-looking? LOL Why, thank you. :P ))

The girl was most certainly drunk. For one thing, it took her a moment to acknowledge the name - which she then did with a too-wide grin. Fool mortals. Brandy had to admit that she had enjoyed getting drunk herself as a mortal - but no more. Sure, she could still get drunk - it just took her a whole hell of a lot longer. She'd been able to hold her liquor pretty well even as a mortal, but now she could hold it like some kind of a freakish drinking champ. And now, she didn't have to worry about throwing up the next afternoon and taking a couple of pills for the hangover. She was finding it more and more fun to laugh at the mortals as time passed. Maybe it was a vampire thing.

"Yeah, I come here on occasion. I don't like to hit the same club twice in a row, though, so I jump around a lot. I'm a party girl."

She smiled again - and then she remembered something. About a week earlier, she'd found out her teeth were retractable. She'd only done it once and it had completely surprised her. She tried to think how she did it before. It took her a moment, but finally, she managed to retract her fangs - and smile just a tad more broadly. Not nearly so broadly as the girl before her, of course, but certainly in a more normal - more human, even - fashion.

Dioscuri - July 16, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
[. oO Har, Guess I'm a few days late. ;~; ]

In all senses which seems like madness the noise rippled in and out in melodramatic crests. Beaming upon the point of when it simply would pop. Shattering what would borderline sanity it was reached then awakened in a renewed being and essence. Conciousness finally regained he no longer could do less then to shake his head vigerously a couple of times; heavily blinking all the while. Finally having come to his attention. ".....Was...I sleeping?", coming to the harsh but ill conclusion.

After having been brought back to reality he hesitantly glanced around. Having no idea where he was, why he was there, or what he had done. This of course wasn't an average thing to him, but the man did appreciate a good snooze whether he wanted it or not. In a mere moments second if not a handful more did he relapse with what memory he had lost. "Oh..shit..", he mumbled under his breath. The first thought having been popped up into his quarter put mind. An unsettling image of Nissa storming away from him for reasons he still could not recall entirely. All he knew is that in these situations it was best to either become entirely desperate and plead and cry for forgiveness for whatever reason he had made an ass of himself or run away like a coward, change his name/appearance, and move away with a bunch of cabbage smelling circus carny folk. Wait, his mind was wandering again! Having finally caught himself he picked what only seemed like the most irrational and went with it.

Jumping up and down into the crowd of people that now mobbed him the heat bearing down on him more then a hooker in a heat in the summer streets of vegas. He managed to spot her, or at least what might resemble the back of her head. Diving into the crowd he pushed, bumped, and lunged his way through until a clearing once more. Bracing himself he pushed his weight down then pulled it back up. Knees hefting into his legs so that they'd lock up. His body now in full scale flight as he made an easy couple feet dive for what might be her. The only reasoning behind his madness being the echo which just might've faintly been picked up admist the noise of the roaring club. "Nniiiiiiiiisssssssssssssaaaaaaaaa!!!!", yes that would be it. Sadly enough he was a fool when it came to improv. So tackling her from a distance from behind was the next best thing that he could think of on the spur of the moment.

[. oO Once again, sorry for the late post. XD! And yes, I do have reasoning for my madness! ]

°Anissa - July 17, 2007 07:37 PM (GMT)
A party girl. It would be fun to call her own self just that. Someone who actually lived life and lived for the hell of it! It would be so amusing. This woman... Brandy... whom she had just met really... was so inspiring to look at. Even now, the way she was smiling, it made Nisa smile back, made her feel more confident somehow. However peculiar that smile did seem. Maybe Nisa could learn a few things from Brandy...? A crazy notion of suddenly wanting to follow this woman, to hang out with her... it didn't seem such a bad idea.

"So, mind if I ask something?" Nisa leaned into the table, somewhat careful not to spill her drink everywhere. "What's your idea---"

She halted in her question quite abrubtly, startled, as a flying figure dove past her toward the neighboring table. The man landed atop another girl (hey, you didn't exactly say it was Nisa! xD) and shrieks were bellowed all around the area as glasses shattered on the floor. He was causing a bit of a commotion.

Yet her own name resounded from the man's lips. It took her a long moment to figure out just who was calling her. Who else? It was definitely Sephy.

Nisa jumped up to go over to him. Her eyebrows drew together in worry and her lips parted slightly as she gasped. My god, was he that drunk?! It seemed all alcohol completely dissolved from Nisa's system. She shoved and stumbled toward him and knelt down to grab his arm.

"Sephy! Are you-- what-- have you gone insane?!" She struggled to pull him to his feet, but only managed to slip on broken glass, landing on top of him, dazed.

What the fuck -

But it was over before it began. Brandy put her hand on her forehead and shook her head, her eyes closed and her lips trying not to purse themselves together.

Idiots. Complete, drunken idiots. God, I must have been really stupid as a mortal. But at least I never ended up like THIS.

She sighed, deciding this was a good time to leave. She abandoned what was left of her drink and mixed back in with the crowd, resuming her dancing once more. She disappeared quickly, and soon she was just another body moving with the rest...
