Appearance: Pale as the day she was born, Scar prefers to get out and about during the night. She doesn't play sports but somehow she seems to keep a fit figure, her metabolism has refused to wear down. Her hair is one of the more distinguishing things about her. The streaks in her hair change colors from time to time, from green to purple to blue to red, and all of the colors inbetween. Her eyes are a stunning glistening hazel, a mix of honey color and a light green. She has a tattoo on her upper arm. The tattoo is a white skull outlined in black with 2 roses going through it like crossbones on the Jolly Roger, and her nickname 'Scar' is written in Dark blood red letters on the forehead.
Punky/Gothic/Emo Style. She is known to wear mostly black and purple. She loves to wear black baggy cargo pants with a chain running down the sides of them. She also loves to wear a long black and grey striped t-shirt with one of her favorite band t-shirts over it. Hoodies are an absolute must in her wardrobe. She has one hoodie for every one of her favorite bands.
History: Scarling and her brothers had a happy childhood, they grew up in a loving home. It was a blend of 2 cultures English, and Italian. Her Father was a true blue Englishman and her mother a pure blooded Italian, mafia and all. Italians know good food, it was a wonder how Scar and her brothers weren’t obese from all of the good food.
Her father and her mothers family had been distant friends since they had been children, but anger was roused when they announced they were dating, engaged, and married. Both sides were angry, and threats were made... mostly by her mothers side. But, once they saw that they were not backing down, they chose to forget it, but they said if Scar's father screwed up once, they would take down their entire family. That never happened, but the family reunions were complete nightmares. As long as the in-laws never saw each other, they were at peace... for the most part anyway.
She could’ve sworn that her Uncle was indeed in the mafia. He had a thick Italian accent when he spoke English, he smoked cigars, and he had a load of cash and he had no 'job'. Her Grandpa on her mothers side was like the Godfather. In Elementary and high school, most people thought it was cool... but once she encountered other italian familys... it was not so pretty. They couldn't accept that she was not a part of the 'mafia', and hated her. The italian boys she had tried to befriends' parents forbid them to see her ever again, so she has learned to avoid them, and older Italian men.. because they were really agressive.
When Scar recieved the gift of music at the age of 10, in the shape of a guitar, she had a dream to be in her own band. To play the guitar and sing the lead. When she was 12, her and her brothers formed a band called 'Jack off' and they played, just for fun, in their garage. When they turned 14, they were signed by a record company and made a CD. They had a tour during the summer, and opened for major bands. that was the year that she turned 15, it was over the summer. A lot of people loved her music, but plenty of people hated it as well. Her parents were brutally murdered by a music hater that hated Scarling.
That happened just 5 years ago when she was a 15. She was tied to a chair and forced to watch them brutally kill her mother and father, torture and beat them to death. Just a week after that her favorite aunt, her mothers sister, committed suicide. She was so close to her aunt, her Uncle went into deep depression because of his wifes suicide. Then her dad’s brother died in a car accident. So, the only family she has left are her two brothers, Mikey and Ricky and their Uncle vinny, who takes care of the family buisness, her moms resteraunt.
Scarling fell into a deep depression after that day, and holed herself in her room for months. She listened to nothing but the grief filled thoughts that flowed through her mind, and promised herself that nothing like that she would go through again. She would find a way to keep that from happening again. Finally, after 3 or 4 months.. she came out of her room, and her brothers had fallen asleep trying to get her out for the fifteenth time that day. The Umpteenth time that month. She woke them both up and told them that she was sending them back home, and she was staying. She didn't want them hurt, their family was living in America at the time. Ricky and Mikey moved back to Italy without Scar, because she feared that wherever wshe would go, her family would be in danger of getting attacked once again.
After she moved out of italy, she distanced herself from her Uncle Vinny and told him she didn't approve of him being in 'the mafia'. He explained to her that there wasn't a way he could get out, and she accepted that. He told her that she would never be dragged into of the buisness if she didn't want it, and she accepted that too. She was still close to her Uncle, and continues to visit him every time she goes to Italy, but she is known as the peacemaker still at family reunions.
She now lives in her own flat, and goes to visit her brothers in Italy while ricky was out of school for the summer. She's currently in a band named after her, Scarling.
Alrighty, okay first off I like the start of this I really do. But you're going to have to explain her parents' murder a bit more to me so that I really get an understanding of that, mostly because that is something that no matter the age is going to affect you for the rest of your life, have a hand in shaping you, so yeah I want to understand that little bit more.
Also I'd like you to add a bit more to her history. I think it's kind of interesting, the dichotomy of English and Italian heritages, but I want to know if she ever caught any grief for it, was she ever the outsider because of it, I don’t claim to know much about the Italian mob, at least more than my granddad’s told me, but from what I get they are a bit um…what’s the word…they aren’t happy with people marrying outside of what them consider the norm.
So yeah. And if her family really is one of “The Families” how much does she know about it and where is that taking her, toward or away from them. You know I just want to make sure you know the subject matter a bit more than seeing The Godfather a couple of times.
Still a few grammar problems. But I like a lot how you improved in the over all storytelling, really nice.
But I still don't get the whole music hater angle of the killer. Can you explain that? Also, after she sent her brothers home, did she move back with them? I'm just a little fuzzy on that.
But after those few things, you're approved.
