"Kaisa!" Came a light giggle. "Did you have a good sleep grandmother?" Of course only Kaisa would understand the Romani spoken by the girl, but she laughed anyways. Grandmother. It made her truly smile.

Miriam was one of the few humans Kaisa saw good in this day and age, but that being the case Kaisa could never figure out why she came to a big city.

"Miriam girl. Do not insult an old woman like me. We are known to be quite grouches at times." She responded in the same tongue as her emerald eyes danced with laughter. Kaisa, dispite the fact she had been born before the second world war looked as if she was still in college, or just out. No older than twenty four anyway.

Miriam was a bright eyed eighteen year old who was curious about the world outside of her tribe, the girl had begged to come, and Kaisa couldn't refuse.

"How was the shop today? Have we gotten in any special orders? My fingers are itching for a new project..." Kaisa asked as she shut the door behind her. It was unlocked of course because they also had after hours clients. Vampires needed clothing too. And some liked the styles of their ages, and it was always hard to find them. Kaisa charged a fair price for her work after all, so there were several who came to her.

"Buscha? Are you sure we are not in trouble? We haven't had a special order in a while... A few mendings that I took care of, but nothing of importance."

"Child, every customer is important. They may be a pain, but the quality of the work we do will bring those that don't have skill to our door. But no, we are not in any kind of trouble. I do keep the books after all, I should know and I will be sure to tell you if we are. Go home and sleep for the night my dear." Kaisa said as she pulled the girl into a hug, kissing her cheeks lightly.

The appartment was close by, a nice little penthouse, so the walk would be safe enough.

As the girl left Kaisa began to clean the inside of the window, humming a song to herself. It was true that the shop was not in trouble, her pockets ran deep enough to save the store no mater what troubles befell them, so it wasn't going anywhere. But it would be nice to have some business if only to satisfy the itch of her hands with something productive rather than strangling the first human she saw...
