The door opened quietly as the police girl walked in with a black t-shirt and loose fitting jeans. Her black military style boots had a hidden knife in it just for safety precautions. She would've been carrying one of her smaller handguns, but with the weather it was way too hot for long clothes. She might've been a naive girl for her age, but she wasn't dumb enough to leave herself without a way to defend herself. Kat knew many self defense techniques, but it didn't mean anything against someone who was much bigger than her. A knife stabbing you was pa pretty good way to disuade aggressors.

She sat down at a stool near the end furthest from the entrance, and waited for the bartender to make his way over to her. "I'll have Bacardi Superior and Coke." The girl was hoping to just spend some time alone with her thoughts. A lot has happened since she joined the police force.

After a few minutes the bartender came back with her drink and Kat nodded thanks. She sipped at it and sighed. It was pretty damn good, and she enjoyed the taste of it going down. She wasn't exactly the world's greatest drunk, and it didn't take her that much to get drunk at all.

But it was not those that were bigger that she had to worry about... And unless it was silver, the knife wouldn't work against those she did have to fear. And well. Jax wasn't allergic to silver so.... The only threat in the bar was very real. And very hungry.

Seeing the girl walk in, she noted the actions of the officer at once. They all had a certian air about them. And she could just smell it. The smell of bacon, as she called it with a grin.

The girl... Looked a lot like her really. About her hight. A little more slender and not as strongly built. Her hair was blond, lighter than Jax's though, and her eyes a brilliant blue like one of Jaxon's as well.

Perfect.

Jaxon's hunger spread through more than just her veins... But her body as well... And there was something that made her want to hear this woman scream... To break her... Break the law and hear it scream in pleasure.

"Well... Someone sure looks lonely tonight." She said with a soft smile as she took her drink and slid across from the woman. Jaxon's odd eyes took in her every detail. Her nose took in the woman's scent and she heard the beating of the heart beneith those breast that she hid.

Kat was lost in her own little world as the other woman came up to her. She took a second to register what the woman said and nodded. "What? Oh I like to drink alone sometimes." She said smiling. The woman was a little older than her, and Kat noticed the similarities. They were almost the same height, and it seemed Kat was barely taller than the other woman. Though there was a kind of hunger that Kat saw in the woman's movements, the way she looked at her with those oddly colored eyes.

Kat took a swig of her drink and sighed feeling it slide down her throat. "Well who would be interested in drinking with the lonely girl?" She asked grinning. She looked over the other woman and wondered what size she bra she wore. The kind of hunger Kat felt only made her want the other more. "I'm sure I'll enjoy some company for a drink."

"I'm always up for giving the lonely a bit of company. After all, they need it more than others right? Besides, who said you were the only one here alone tonight? Good odds are that everyone here's come alone too. After all, this isn't exactly a club of sorts where everyone has someone." She pointed out.

She sipped at the dark beer in her hand and simply watched the other woman. She was an officer... Unmarried... Alone... Just like her. It seemed to be the fate of women in the force. Men seemed to not want to get involved with those types... Who knew why. Maybe they were afraid to get their ass kicked. Maybe it was the whole stigma of a woman officer...

Shovanistic assholes...

"But you're not just alone tonight are you." Jax said knowingly. "You live alone... Work alone... You're like me ain't ya?" She said curiously.

Kat smiled as the woman spoke and understood what she was saying. "You're right there." She said taking another swig of the rum. A sigh of relief escaped her mouth and she was starting to blush from the heat in her belly. "You still didn't ask my question." She said grinning at the woman. With every swig of her drink the woman was looking more tempting.

"Well I don't work alone. I met a guy who's nice and everything who I work with, but he's not someone I'd really hang out with. To the rest I'm very much like you." Looked like she had a kindred spirit. "Lemme guess...You're police too?" Kat had to guess that the woman was either in the police force or the military.

Kat was very easy to get along with, though she didn't trust superiors that much. She had a bad experience. "Sometimes I just can't take men. They think since I'm actually good at my job, that I'm some sort of freak." That was true definitely in school.

"You can say that." Jax said as the girl guessed that she was in the force as well. "But I'd rather you not." The vampiress enjoyed simply watching as the woman seemed to get more and more... Incapacistated with every drink. Well being so small... That's why Jax hadn't kept herself terribly thin. She wasn't fat or overweight by any means. No. She was just sturdy. The girl was lean. Thin and lean... just right in her opinion.

"Say... Why don't we grab a room and have some fun as drinking buddies?" Jaxon suggested. Simply because she wanted to drink something more than alcohol. Listening to the woman's pulse made her fangs ache with hunger...

Pain or pleasure though... Now Jax was having a hard time deciding... Maybe even... Both.

"You up for a few games?"

Kat smiled as the woman didn't answer her again, but she didn't mind that much anymore. It seemed like the woman didn't feel like explaining her life. Shrugging Kat listened to the woman while taking another swig. "Well I wouldn't mind at all, though I have to warn you...I'm kind of a crappy drunk. What games do you have in mind? I'm up for pretty much anything." She said with a grin.

Before she heard the woman's answer Kat turned to the bartender and asked for a room. The police girl turned back to the woman who interested her so. "I might be able to come up with some good games too." She said grinning mischievously. Maybe it could be pretty fun. It seemed like the other woman was interested in her too. It would be pretty interesting.

"I don't get drunk." Jax said with a smile. "So I can look after you." She said as she reached across the table, running her fingers through the woman's hair. Jax's fingertips ran down her cheek to her neck. "You are in good hands m'dear." She said with a grin. Truth was there would be no games... None whatsoever unless you count Jaxon feeding a game.

With a soft laugh at the woman's grin Jax moved behind her and wrapped her arms around the woman's waist. She had a feeling the taste would be slightly altered... But delightful none the less.

Once in the room Jax shut the door with a little grin before pushing the woman back on to the bed.

"So..." She murmured as she leaned over the woman. Pinning her wrists to the bed gently. She wasn't going to leave bruises like Corrigan had. "What's your name... What department are you with?" She asked curiously. She'd have to look up the girl's profile when she got to work tomorrow and check her out. If it was always this easy, well Jax would have a second easy meal whenever she needed it. Not to mention if the woman normaly was like this... She could have a lover who was tender and knew all the right buttons to press. After all, who knew a woman better than a woman?

Kat returned the woman's smile as she said she didn't get drunk. "Well I'm glad that I have someone to take care of me tonight." She said as she finished off her drink. Kat was glad that she ran into a woman like her. She felt excited as the woman moved behind her and wrapped those arms around her waist.

Then they made their way to the room. Kat wasn't drunk, but just a little disoriented. She gasped as she was pushed onto the bed, and then the woman was on top of her. The woman's skin was warm against her's, and made her nipples stick up. "I'll tell you if you tell me in return." She said with a smile. Kat could definitely see the woman being someone she'd like to have a relationship. Leaning her head up Kat was just out of reach of kissing the woman. "I'm Kat Lemont in the Demaitre Police Department. I'm also a professional sniper." She said with a grin.

Kat wanted to feel the woman inside her. Wanted to feel her inside her virgin body. Jaxon withdrew her fangs, licking at the slight blood around the wound, and healing it shut. She was cleaning up the right when she heard the last please. After jotting down her cell number she left quickly. Maybe Corrigan would be waiting at her appartment. She could still use a bit of fun... She was still hungry. Dawn was still far away, but she wasn't one to stay with her prey. And that's all the girl was now. Prey. Perhaps a reaccuring prey, but prey none the less.

Kat moaned softly in her sleep. She was dreaming of when her spotter died what seemed like years ago. She heard a very distant voice, but she didn't understand what those words were. It seemed as if it was outside. Kat was sound asleep as the other woman left the note and aspirin. She didn't know what happened and she didn't really care.

Then the police girl woke up a few hours later with a terrible hangover and thirsty as hell. "Uhhhh..." Kat sat up and pressed her palm against her forehead. Looking over at the night stand Kat saw the bottle of aspirin and juice. She popped two aspirins and chugged the juice. Then she looked down at her own body. Her panties were back on, but she wasn't wearing anything on her top half. Then she noticed the note and sighed. "Guess I should probably call you again." She said to herself. Kat took out her cell phone and saved the number under Jax's name. "So you're Jax?"

Smiling Kat put her clothes back on, and walked down to the bar. "Can I get a glass of orange juice?" She asked letting out a sigh. She waited for it and guzzled it down as soon as it came.

After paying for it Kat wondered about the room, but it seemed it was already paid for. What a good sport...Kat walked out of the bar. She dialed her cell phone. She was hoping to reach Jax.

But of course it rang and rang. And of course Jax just had the plain mechanized voice giving the number of the phone you called.

Dawn had sent her into the usual deep sleep she spent her days in now.

She noticed the missed call though sometime later, after the sun had set safely on the western front. It wasn't a number Jax recognized... but it seemed to have been trying to get a hold of her because they called more than once.

But they would call back if they really wanted to reach her. Or at least leave a damn message.

Yawning and streatching, still feeling fantasticly full from the night before, she headed to the shower. She knew she didn't sweat or anything, but scents still clung to her. Scent of the bar... The blood and the other woman. Delicious scents though they were.

The other woman... Was that maybe who'd been trying to call her? She didn't know.

Kat was now on the job calling Jax when she had breaks, but no answer. It seemed she was either working or maybe it was something else. She was busy training some new recruits on marksmanship, and was getting tired of it. Later on after sunset Kat was still working filling out papers, and all that fun desk jockey stuff that the others left for her to do. Not especially fun, but there was no need for her services for the time being so she'd might as well take care of the ever growing pile of papers on her desk.

Then an idea popped into her head, and Kat called Jax one more time hoping to get her this time. It was kind of tiring hearing the same thing over and over again. Then the answering machine picked up and Kat shook her head. "Hey this is Kat from the other night. I just wanted to thank you for looking out for me, and I was hoping you'd be willing to meet up with me after I get off of work. Well you probably have my number from all the missed calls. Talk to you later."

Kat hung up the phone as one of her masculine colleagues walked over to her desk with a raised eyebrow and a cup full of coffee. "Working late again Lemont?" He asked letting out a sigh. "Damn girl, you're making everyone look bad."

Kat laughed and looked up at him. He was the one who acted as her spotter, and she smiled. He was also a friend of his. "Yeah, I need to make enough money to get that new series that's out. It looks good have you heard about it?"

The guy smiled back and shrugged. "Yeah Le Chevalier D'Eon right?" Kat nodded. "It definitely seems like an anime you'd watch." He said referring to how she loved most anime that were referred to as Shounen, or guy animes.

"Well I'd better get back to this paperwork. I'll give you a call when I pick it up. Maybe we can set another date." She said returning to the paperwork. It would keep her busy for a while, but she kept looking down at her cell phone waiting for a call.

Once out of he shower Jax noticed another missed call, the same number. But this time there was a message too. "So she's still at work... Fantastic." Jax grinned. She didn't call back, no. But well it wasn't like she didn't know where Kat worked.

Dressing quickly she knew she would be able to meet the girl there before she got off. She wasn't up for a feeding tonight as she wasn't to hungry. But if the time was right, oh she'd certianly drink for pleasure.

Hopping on her new Honda SuperHawk that she'd bought to replace her unrepareable old Shadow, Jax was speeding towards the Station, her quick reflexes saving her ass several times from near accidents. But the danger thrilled her, exicted her more than anything.

She was there in five minutes as she rode her bike onto a side street out of the way, waiting for her to come out.

Kat was kind of depressed that Jax hadn't called back, but then again it would've been better that way. She was finished with the papers twenty minutes later, and sighed. "Hey I'm gonna take off now. The paperwork's done, so can you file it for me?" She asked her partner as she walked out the door without waiting for an answer. He was always up for helping her, and she knew it.

After changing out of her uniform and into civilian clothes Kat walked out the back way where she usually walked back to her apartment. Then she spotted a familiar face and grinned looking around to make sure no one was spying on them. "Get my message?" Kat asked as her grin turned into a smile.

"Thank you very much for last night. I don't know what I would've done without you." She walked up to the motorcycle, and examined it. "It this a SuperHawk!? Oh my God! I've always wanted to own one, but they're expensive and I usually use my spending cash for anime." She was kind of an anime junkie, but she was proud of her collection. "I want to buy one too one of these days." She said looking up at Jax with envious eyes.

"I was kind of dissappointed that you left early last night. At least you left a note." She was still admiring the bike while waiting for an answer. It was a truly beautiful bike.

She had reved the engine to catch the woman's attention and pulled back into the side street more.

Jax laughed as the woman admired the bike. yes, a woman of her own heart truly. "Yeah I had a shadow, but I got a call from the shop the other night saying it wasn't fixable and I might as well buy a new bike. Figured I'd pamper myself." She grinned. Anime? Well she'd get over it eventualy, and everyone had their flaws.

"Yeah... I had to leave a bit early. Sorry about that. There was a murder last week that we're still doing some work on. I had to go out to some sources." It wasn't exactly a lie... Was it? She jerked her head, indicating to the girl to get on. They probably shouldn't hang out here too long. The black cotton tank-top was low cut and snazzy, her jeans just as low cut, and the saddle bag off to the side held a pair of spare shoes.

"You got something other than those. I was thinking we could hit up a club or two tonight. I'm feeling rather restless." She said with a grin as she made the bike give another roar.

Kat smiled as Jax explained that she had a shadow before. The police girl did envy the other woman. It seemed as if they were almost the same, of course with different qualities and flaws. "Ohhh, the Shadow's a great bike too." She said looking up at Jax. Definitely a woman after her own heart.

Then Jax was explaining why she didn't answer her phone. "Oh that's fine. I had a mountain of paperwork to do. Least favorite part of the job." To tell the truth Kat's trigger finger was itching to go to the shooting range, but she didn't say anything. Kat happily complied with the jerk of Jax's head. She jumped on the back wrapping her arms around the other woman's waist. "Well if you're willing to go to my apartment I'll throw nicer clothes on. It's only a block or two away."

The roar of the bike felt good, and Kat let out a little growl escape her throat. "I'd love to go out with you." Kat pressed her body against Jax's back bracing herself for driving on the motorcycle. Now it would be pretty bad if she accidentally fell off.

"Tap whatever side you want me to turn to as we're going along. Won't be able to hear you."

"Just be sure to hold on." She warned. "I have a habit of not obeying traffic laws." She grinned as she reved the engine. The obviousl lack of a helmet was one of them, but then she toor down a street, going on the opposite side while the light was red no cars were coming so it was completely safe. She switched over infront of a car as the light turned green and shot through the intersection.

Folowing the girl's taps they arrived outside of her place a few moments later.

"Alright babe, go put something sexy on. I'm planning on getting a guy tonight, I seriously need to get laid. And so do you." She grinned. She'd find a nice vampire at the club they were gonna go to, and she'd have a fantastic time. Nice vampire? In the Tarepah? Heh. Well they wouldn't hurt her if Jax told them she'd rip their packages off. And they wouldn't feed from her unless they want their fangs ripped out. No, the girl belonged to Jax.

Kat nodded as she listened to Jax's words. "I definitely will." She said to tapping the other woman on the side. "Well we have two police officers here, I'm sure we can come up with a reason." She said grinning. The fact that they didn't have helmets, and then she was tearing down the street. It excited her to feel the wind rushing through her hair, and she tapped Jax's sides as the turns came, and they were there in no time.

"I'll be quick. I'm looking forward to getting laid tonight." She grinned and ran up to her apartment.

Kat looked through her clothes and sighed. All she had was her boots, jeans and a tanktop. She undressed and ran through her clothes choosing a pair of loose fitting jeans and a black tanktop with the red cross from Full Metal Alchemist on it. It was her favorite, but she didn't wear it much. Kat put her boots on, and slid two knives into the sheathes. Better safe than sorry. Just like a condom.

She had no idea where they were going, but she knew she could trust Jax. "What do you think Jax?" She asked spinning around as if she was a model. "I know it isn't that sexy, but it's what I've got." She said smiling at the woman she trusted.

She was looking forward to it? Well now... If that was Kat's attitude... Why the hell was she still a virgin? Well, she wouldn't have a problem with it tonight.

Jax stretched out slightly as she waited for Kat to come back. When she did, they were actually dressed much the same way. Jax's tank had a gold embroydery and sequences on parts of it, an Indian type patern, and ribbed, but the other girls was different with a symbol she didn't recognize.

"Ah, you won't have to worry about it where I've got a mind to go. But leave the weapons out." She said noticing the slight differance in the boot. "They won't be too welcomed." Her face was serious and straight now. "Even I don't take weapons in there. A lot of the clientel find it offensive. Stick them in the bag if you want to keep them with you, but they aint going in." She warned.

Kat smiled as Jax spoke about not really worrying about it, but then she was speaking about the weapons and sighed. "I don't want to be caught with my pants down." She said but understood. "Gimme a second and I'll get them back up stairs." Kat was reluctant but she walked back up to her apartment unsheathing her knives and putting them away.

Kat went back down and opened her arms to show that she didn't have any weapons. "I put them away. I don't have much else to hide anymore weapons." The smile returned to her face as she sat behind Jax on the bike.

"Where're we going?" Kat wanted to feel Jax against her as she wrapped her arms around the other woman's waist. "Oh I'm not much of a club goer. So I hope you'll show me the ropes." She could smell the other woman, and smiled.

"Good." She nodded as Kat came back without the knives. "We dont' need to be raising hell over there. They do that good enough." She grinned.

"We're gonna hit the Sinister Puppet first. It's a rough place really, but god they got some great guys there. Really know how to show the woman a good time." A soft murmur escaped her as Kat sidled up behind her. "Say. You alright with this girl? I mean you're a virgin right? These guys can be pretty rough if you're not used to it. I wouldn't want to get you torn up there or anything." She said.

Jax wanted to make sure that the girl was okay with going to this place. It was primarily a vampire club, but humans went there all the time. And she'd find one of the guys she knew to take care of her. But if she wasn't sure, they could head to another club. Jax wouldn't get quite what she needed, but it would be enough to satisfy her until Corrigan returned.

She needed a pounding. Someone to make her scream and cry with pleasure as they tore into her.

"It's up to you babe."

Kat smiled as Jax said that they were going to the Sinister Puppet. She heard about the club, but she didn't know much except for its name. "Oh I'm sure I can handle myself. I'm always up for new things." She blushed a little bit at the fact that she was still a virgin. "Well I won't be a virgin forever." She said shrugging.

"I'm fine with going there Jax." She said resting her head on the other woman's shoulder. "As long as I know you're somewhere close I'm fine." She took in the other woman's scent and sighed. "Let's go Jax."
