Title: Nice to be Back
Description: For Morrigan's Amadahy

The night was young, and the former marine gone vampie took in the sights and sounds of the nightclub. The White Mice was one of the more popular clubs in the area, and It had been a while since he was in Demaitre. Xander walked up to the bar and ordered himself a beer. God he had a pretty good handle on being all fangy, and being around others thanks to his sire Amadahy. She was supposed to meet him at the club, but he didn't see her yet.

Xander sat down at a table giving him a good view of the whole club and took a drink of his beer. It was a pretty shitty beer, but it was cheap. He hadn't seen his sire and lover in a little more than a year, because he wished to leave Demaitre for a while.

The vampire wore black jeans and jet black boots reaching his shins. The only other thing he wore was a green t-shirt from his marine days. The name McKenney was spray painted onto it in big black letters. He was thinking about what he needed to do. The thirst wouldn't bother him for a while, but he had enough control to keep himself from killing others.

Xander missed Amadahy's smell, her touch, taste. Looking at his watch he found that he was a little early. Did she miss him as much as he missed her? What was she doing? He didn't know, but there was always time to talk.

Morrigan - February 22, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
"Damn it, Amadahy! You're such a bitch!" Bliss stormed his way into the kitchen, just to breath. Just to get away from her.

After Morrigan left their home- her house -it had been just the two of them in a small, kindly neighborhood house. Pure white, no electricity, and no sire to watch over them. Bliss thought he would be head of the home, but no! Dear Amadahy had taken the old, Celt's room for her own. Not that Morrigan was cheerful, but Bliss had adjusted and rather like her style of living. Alas, Queen Bitch Amadahy was trying to change everything.

"Oh, hush. I'm just thought this place needed a bit of light in it," she calmly stated while fixing her jet black locks. There were no mirrors left in the house thanks to Bliss. He hated the things. She guessed at her makeup, which came out nicely Bliss had told her.

"Pink isn't quite what I had in mind," Bliss snapped, his voice slightly muffled by the distance. He still lingered in the kitchen, bent over the sink, and face wrinkled with annoyance.

"Ah, whatever. It'll grow on you," Amadahy told him.

Bliss rolled his eyes. His expression smoothed out, but his tone did not. "That's what you said about the fluffy, black pillows and ugly, gothic couches." He glared at the living room. It's decor was black and pink. Focal point: bright pink walls. Where once there were shields of old and half-melted, four foot tall candles now there were rock posters and funky lamps. His eyes became bold slits as he stared down the new leather and metal spike couch. "How are you paying for all this shit?"

Amadahy ignored him and grabbed her tiny black purse. "Bye, Bliss! See ya later." She waved goodbye and headed out the front door. A taxi was waiting for her. Bliss darted from the kitchen, only to have the door slammed in his face. He paused and sighed. After a moment's pain he turned to the couch and sat down.

It was very uncomfortable.

"Damn it!" Bliss snapped as he tossed a fuffly pillow across the room.

+++++

Amadahy practically leapt from the taxi to the front of the club. Her excitment was building. How long had it been since she had last seen him? Too long! Her black skirt clung to her thighs and her deep red corset was pulled unhumanly tight. She wore her new, black highheels that clicked on the pavement all the way to the bouncer.

"Hello, Juan," she greeted him as he let her through. She haunted the White Mice often. Some think too often.

Her handsome Marine caught her attention almost instantly. She licked her painted, red lips and clicked her way over to him. Her emerald eyes looked him over. "Hello," she said in almost a whisper. She could not think of anything else to say...

As soon as she walked in Xander was standing waiting for her. God Amadahy looked as beautiful as ever, and he smiled at her. "Hey beautiful." He said before picking her up wrapping his arms around her waist and taking in her scent. Her scent was so nostalgic and he kissed her neck gently. "How long has it been?" He asked setting her back down on her feet. Even without mirrors she did a good job with the makeup. "It's been too long." He whispered answering his own question.

"What've you been up to?" He asked knowing he'd been away for a long time. They had to catch up on the time that passed. "I missed you so much." He said moving back to the table he was sitting at and pulled a chair out for Amadahy to sit in. He wanted to know how she was doing, how her sire and Morrigan were doing. The last time he saw them was during that masquerade a while back. "Do you want anything to drink?" He asked seeing how his beer was close to empty. Xander waited for his sire and lover to answer him. Simply having her around was enough to help him feel better. It had been too lonely travelling without her by his side.
