"Jax... I know you're upset that you lost Henri... But his with his family again. You should be happy for him if that's where he wants to be." Said one of the secritary's of the night shift that she had become well aquainted with. Now that she knew Drake was dead, she wasn't afraid to get to know people. And she knew he was dead... Jax had finally killed him herself. Killed him and burried him out in the woods where no one would ever be able to find him.

"Rach... It was just that me and him really connected... I knew what it was like to grow up all alone, without anyone to care for me." In fact she still cared for him, wanting to see him again and pull him close in a hug.

"Well why don't you just addopt another kid?" Rachel asked. But Jax shook her head. "It's not the same Rach. I wish it were but he was really special to me. It was like we found each other."

"Okay... Well, why don't you find a nice guy, finally settle down, and have kid of your own?"

Jax shook her head. "I wish I could... But last time I went to the doctor, I was told I've taken too much trauma to my stomach... I can get pregnant, but I'd only miscarry." She said, genuinly upset that she would never be able to have children even if that hadn't been the truth. Vampires just couldn't have kids.

"Oh... Jax... I'm so sorry..." Rachel said sympatheticly. "I wish that wasn't the case, I do..."

"Don't worry about it... I've learned to live with the fact." Jaxon said waiving her hand. "But anyway, I'm out for the night. See ya tomorrow night Rach."

"Bye Jaxon. Get some sleep will you?"

Jax nodded and zipped up her department jacket before opeing the door to leave the station. The cold hit her at once... It had to be in the negitives tonight... It was too cold for anyone but a vampire to be out here. And even though it wouldn't hurt her, it bothered her. And in fact the street was quiet, dead all most, as she walked down the sidewalk, the soles of her shoes making no noise.

Gypsy hated her new job. When the hell did a fucking gas station start delivering? Oh well, only a few more hours and that ridiculous pizza faced manager would be off for the night, and Gypsy would have the place to herself again. It's not like many people came into that dump besides late working Doctors and Nurses on her shift anyway. And they didn't talk to her much.

Mitch said that this was the kind of night hospitals dreaded. Sixteen car pile up on rout 6 outside town, so his little prissy nurse friend of his couldn't get in for her nightly Red Bull and sugar bun. So, he'd sent Gypsy to hand it off to her. What a load of crap. It's a freaking gas station not a Pizza Hut! One week and she'd already become his delivery girl. Mitch was such a sleaze.

Gypsy walked with her head down, huddled in her thin 'Boondock Saints' hoodie. Gloves from the gas station's glove rack covering her hands. How the hell was she suppose to keep everyone thinking she was human walking around in this shit? She needed her first pay check quick. She had rent to pay on that crummy garage, and she needed to get a better jacket. This cold was even affecting her tough hide.

The flurry of the snow and her head down to avoid it, Gypsy didn't see the woman walking out the door. Gypsy walked right into her, throwing Red Bull cans and sugar buns across the sidewalk. Landing Gypsy right on her tail bone. That smarted. Gypsy let out a surprised yelp.

Rubbing her toosh, she looked over at the girl. "Sorry chere, didn't see you there."

Maybe she would go talk to Mitch... Well, her Mitch, the tender over at the yesterday man. Guy could always use some company and it had been a while since she had paid him a visit. Well it was too late for that now. Maybe tomorrow. Or rather, later this night after she slept.

Jaxon, who was really moving like an unsoptable tank and lost in her own world, didn't even bother to notice really untill she heard someone say something.

"Huh? Oh... Uh, sorry I guess. Watch where you're going next time. I'm sure that'll help." She muttered. The girl wasn't a girl at all, but a vampire. Not an old one where even Jax could feel her power. Older of course... But not old enough to put Jax on guard.

She noticed how the girl was bundled up. Jax only did that for apperance sake... And why was she carying all that food stuff. She didn't need to eat at all...

"What are you doing kid?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. No one who looked younger than hergot away from being called kid. "You don't need to be waisting money on food if you don't need to eat." She said simply. She would have thought an older vampire would have known. She kept some dry goods just for apperance sake. But she had had thouse when she died...

"Riiiight. Will do next time the snow's so think I can't see past my own freaking hand Chere." Gypsy got up of the snow covered ground and started salvaging her delivery.

"I am making a delivery to some nurse at the hospital. What's it to you? And I do need to get sustenance, just not this crap." She said holding up a Sugar bun, a disgusted look on her face. "You guys really are starting to come out of the freaking wood works ain't ya?" Gypsy shot as she started re-bagging the Red Bulls and Sugar buns. Gypsy really didn't need someone else's crap right at this moment. But, this girl seamed to know what she was... maybe Gypsy could get some answers from her. Maybe not, this chick seemed kind of put offish anyway.

"Sorry I stepped in your way Belle. Won't happen again promise." Gypsy tried to give a good girl smile, but it turned more into what it really was: An 'I am just smiling so I can get out of here' look.

With that she started walking towards the hospital again. Leaving a Red Bull she didn't see near the lady's feet.
