Title: Room For The Night
Description: Ben
Catalina Morshire - December 29, 2006 09:29 AM (GMT)
Catalina led Ben to the check in desk. "One room. Two beds." She said quickly, pulling her wallet out and getting the key. "Thanks." She told the clerk. "Lucky number thirteen." She smirked heading upstairs to the room. "How nice." She unlocked the door to the room and entered. "Smells musty, but oh well. These rooms are probably never used." She turned to Ben. "You okay with it?"
Aurore Miller - December 29, 2006 09:31 AM (GMT)
"yeah." he smiled, "mustys alot better than a 9x11." he laughed. Flopping down onto one of the beds he looked at her upside down and stuck his tongue out. "Well, that was wild wasn't it? I also could've paid you know."
Catalina Morshire - December 29, 2006 09:33 AM (GMT)
Catalina tossed her sweater onto the opposite bed and sat down. "Very wild." She smiled. Pulling an elastic off her wrist, Catalina tied her hair up into a messy pony tail. "Theres a bar down stairs. You can get beer brought up, but they always want big tips."
Aurore Miller - December 29, 2006 09:36 AM (GMT)
"I think I'm done for the night." He smiled suavly. "You can get something if you like though." he smiled turning onto his stomach and resting his head on a pillow. "So, Enashe you said."
Catalina Morshire - December 29, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
"I dont need to be any drunker than I am." Catalina said. She laid down on her side and pulled her pillow under her head. "Yes, Enashe. I've been apart of it for a few years now. Its become like a family to be honest. I cant say I care for many of the people there, because I keep to myself mostly, but I would go into any sort of fight for them. They're my brothers and sisters, so to speak." Catalina went to the little fridge. "Not much in here. Beer is pretty much it." she took the 6-pack and placed it on the table in between the two beds. "That'll do for the night now."
Aurore Miller - December 29, 2006 09:45 AM (GMT)
Ben helped himself to a beer and cracked it open, "Alright just one more." He smirked. "It's good that you feel that kind of attachment to your fellow clan members. Being an independant I don't really know what it's like. Apart from a brothel in London, England I've got nothing really for family." He smiled to himself looking from Cat to the beer clip and back, his mysty green-blue eyes staring deep into hers.
Catalina Morshire - December 29, 2006 10:08 PM (GMT)
"An independent, huh? I tried that once. It didn't suit me." Catalina took a shot of her beer and put the can on the table. "Family is what you make it. You could have awful birth parents, and find friends who replace them, and they become your family. A brothel? I worked in bars. Its not something I'm proud of, and it wasn't often, but it gave the family extra money."
Catalina took out a ciggarette and lit it up. "I think I'll open a window. These rooms are musty enough as it is."
Aurore Miller - January 3, 2007 02:35 PM (GMT)
Bendict smirked at the mention of the Brothel, he missed the feeling of belonging to a family, but he enjoyed his resopnsiblity free roaming of in being an independant. He nodded to her talking and took a long pull form his beer and smiled when she said she was opening the window. "So,..." a comfortable silence came and went and he looked at her with a mixture of 'i'm gunna pass out' and 'i think i'll have more beer' and he giggled foolishly.
Catalina Morshire - January 4, 2007 04:49 AM (GMT)
Catalina flopped back down onto her bed and laughed. "I dont think you should have anymore." Leaning over she took the remaining beers from the six pack and moved to put them back in the fridge.
"Need to cover the windows." She muttered absently, pulling a sheet off her bed and tearing it. "There we go." She said with satisfaction at the two covered windows.
Sitting on her bed, she took her smoke from the ashtray and held it out to Ben. "Want?" She asked, flicking the ashes to the floor.
Aurore Miller - January 4, 2007 02:39 PM (GMT)
Ben watched her cover the windows and smiled as she finished, she looked young but he could tell just from her behavior she was of a knowing age.
Ben smirked, "Yeah," he took the cig from her and took a long pull, loving as the smoke filled his dead lungs and released the ever-wanted nicotine into his brain. Blowing out the smoke he smirked and handed it back to her, not wanting to hog it all to himself.
"So, I know it isn't very gentlmenly to ask but,.." he smirked evily to himself, "how old are you exactly?"
Catalina Morshire - January 5, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
"Depends on how you look at it. I can be 19, or I can be 76. Almost 77. It's just a matter of how old the person asking it." Catalina stabbed the smoke out in the ashtray and chewed her lip for a moment. "I am so bored right now." She laughed. "Not to be rude. Your interesting company, but its to early to be inside."
Aurore Miller - January 5, 2007 02:09 PM (GMT)
"I know I'm good company." He smirked, "And I too can be either 22 or I could be 57. Either way we're either older or younger than each other." Ben winked. He rolled over onto his back and looked at her upside-down and sighed, "I too am bored."
Pondering for a moment he looked to the ceiling and then back to Cat with an enlightened look on his face, "Is there a lightbulb above my head?!" and without waiting for an answer he stood quickly and put out a hand. "Because I do believe we have a few hours of night left and we are in a hotel full of pumping blood just waiting to be fed from." Ben smiled at her waiting to see if she was hungry in that sense.
Catalina Morshire - January 5, 2007 09:48 PM (GMT)
Catalina laughed. "The lightbulb is burnt out." She said smiling. "How, do you expect to get into the rooms? Break down the door? Very loudly, I might add." She examined her finger nails. "And a hotel massacre, however small, may draw attention, especially when the police notice that the bodies have mostly been drained."
Catalina sighed and opened the drawer to the nightstand. "It's always interesting to see what the people who stayed in the room before left behind."
Aurore Miller - January 9, 2007 02:42 PM (GMT)
Benedict nodded, "Yes, yes, but there's always the fact of a psycho murder-suicide of someone else in the hotel. Planting evidence was always one of my strong suits." He smiled wickedly. "And for getting into the rooms, that's simple." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a lockpick, "Being an independant, I'm always ready for a sneaky night." He winked at her and waited to see whether she was up to the task.
