It was nearly a week since her last feeding and Natalia was feeling a bit more than worn; she had slipped out of her residence earlier that evening and had yet to find a mortal that would suffice her need. After a few hours of searching, the vampire had begun to get a bit angsty; and just as luck would have it, it appeared the streets were wiped clean of people.
Stufifng her hands in her trenchcoat, she decided to take a stroll down a secluded alleyway; she'd found a quite a few meals down this alley before; perhaps it would again, help her out in her feeding needs.
Her pace loosened, and she pulled out a cigarette from her purse, and stuck it between her pursed lips; removing the matches from her pocket, she pulled one off, and struck it against the book, egniting the small flame. She held the tip of the match to the end of her smoke and puffed a few times until it finally caught.
The petite woman took one more drag off the cigarette, inhaled, then blew the smoke out; it was then that her break was interrupted by a small noise in front of her. 'Hmmm...' She walked closer towards the noise, her heels clicked noisily.

Hale had watched the woman walking the streets and was curious for what she did. He had fed and as always it was gory as usual. He enjoyed all the gore and all the blood. He had fed well and now was up for a little of fun. Scaring younger vampires could be fun, yet talking with them could be just as fun.
He had leaped down from the building and had been watching her intently when by accident he had hit a can that littered the floor. A sneer pulled at his youthful face, making the face ugly, on the face of a child. He looked up as the woman approached.
He couldn't do anything now, so he apppeared. A child of ten, with the mind of an ancient, that had no emotions in his eyes, dressed all in black and cold souless eyes.

Natalia tilted her head to one side upon reaching the noise, only to discover that the noise had been a crumpled can; not to mention the young vampire...well he looked young anyway. Natalia knew enough to doubt vampires' age. In Demaitre she'd encountered quite a few "child" vampires who'd lived fr centuries, many more so than she herself had.
Natalia took one more long drag off of the smoke, then decided to throw it ot the ground and smoosh it with her heel. A small grill played at her lips upon reaching the "child". "Isn't it a little past your bedtime?" Even if the vampire had been much older than she, whose to say she couldn't joke around lightly?
Stuffing her hands in her pockets, she leaned against the side of a building; it's touch was cool, even against her jacket.

Hale simply stared at her. Past his bedtime? It was more like past hers. Hale wasn't very often in a good mood and unfortunately for her, tonight Hale was in a bad mood. He simply stared at her, eyes blank and face smooth. For an old vampire he was old, an ancient by many vampires standards and one thing he didn't like was being teased in the manner that he was a child. His physical appearance was nothing that had to be teased.
"Past my bedtime?" He blinked. "I refuse to even answer a comment of that sort. You should never tease vampires that are a lot older than you, some of us have a nasty temper." Hale was one of them with a nasty temper, he also enjoyed torture. He was an Ishak after all and despite his young looking appearance, he was a monster by anyone's perception.
He lifted a hand and that was when his claws shone in the moonlight with still the stain of his meal earlier in the night. He licked them clean, before retracting and making them vanish

Natalia answered with a small smile,"Fair enough..." Truth be told, she wasn't very threatened by the small vampire, and she didn't let his reply bother her. Her amber eyes darted to his claws, then to him again as he licked them clean. 'Must be a savage...', she thought, taking into consideration that older vampires tended to be more ruthless when they killed.
"Well, I can see I've interrupted your little feast, and I will let you return." The small woman pushed her body off of the side of the building and started to walk slowly byHale, her heels clicking a bit softer this time. Her amber eyes rested on the older vampire for a moment, then went souly back to the path ahead. 'No need be intimidated...just a child....' Perhaps she had gotten a bit intimidated once his claws were shown, but would she admit that? Doubtedly so.
As she past him, she folded her arms, so as to keep her a bit warmer; drat that december weather. Oftentimes in winter she'd wished it summer, but when summer actually came around, she wished it winter again.

Hale knew that she was watching him , but he didn't let it show that he knew. Had she interrupted him? Oh no, he had already been done by the time she had arrived, he was simply cleaning up. It took a lot of practice to be a savage and come out of it barely marked by blood, though Hale was a master at that.
He watched her walk by and then cut her off from the direction she was going. "I'm done and I think that I want to hang around you for a bit." He didn't give an explanation as to why he wanted to do so, but then again he didn't have to explain himself to someone clearly younger than him.
He had caught the child comment and wanted to laugh. Him, a child? Oh no, he was no longer a child, despite what he looked like. He watched the woman, his brown eyes alert and pointedly looking at her, almost digging into her soul, if she had one. He was going to have fun, there was still a part of him that was the child and wanted to play games, yet they weren't the games that was played by mortal children, they were a lot more gruesome.

Natalia was a bit surprised as she was cut off; much like a mortal shocked after seeing the vampire. "Me? What do you want with me?" She asked, an eyebrow raised. At least he had spunk...well...in more of a creepy way. Yet somehow, in the back of her mind, she was a little preeturbed by Hale's request to stay. But she couldn't find the motivation from the spot that she was now rooted to.
Resting her hands on her hips, she waited for his response. She wasn't in the mood to be waiting around all night; what could he possibly want to hang around her for? She had been slightly rude to him before, and as far as she could tell, he'd probably been hearing her thoughts as well.
Maybe the best thing to do would be to turn around and go home; it was just too bad she wasn't with someone else. She felt slightly feeble now...more so than when she'd turned. But now there was no Victor to protect her; she was all on her own.
It was decided. She would wait for Hale's response, decide if she liked it or not, and then either leave or stay; it was that simple.

Hale stared at her, simply looked, flat disinterest in his eyes. Though inside he was itching for a battle. He simply looked at her, that was all that there was to it. "Why you? Why not? I'm simply looking for fun and you seem to be fun." That was all that Hale looked for fun. Most people thought him a kid, so he acted like one. He had tried to disapprouve people but that simple made it worst.
If she tried to leave he would keep following her until she relented or keep annoying her. That was a skill he had perfected. Annoying people until they couldn't take it anymore and simply relented. This was one of his favorite games, the game that any child would love to play. She wasn't going anywhere.
