Title: Slaughter On 10th Avenue
Description: open to all

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - February 28, 2006 03:19 PM (GMT)
Vincent walked with purpose through the col, dark alley.
His head was still buzzing with questions.
He found with sudden shock that he had unconsciencely removed the Nazi emblem from his pocket, and was turning it over his his hands.
Since it had arrived he had been worried, who did Nathaniel know he was in Demaitre? Would he come here himself? What would happen when he did?
The questions revoled around his brain like so many planets in the sky.

Around him all was quiet, the junkies slumbered in thier torpor, the stray animals had curled up in a sheltered spot and were dreaming the night away.
Only the dead were animated.

Aspen Raen - February 28, 2006 04:20 PM (GMT)
((I hope you don't mind I join, I just saw the whole Nazi emblem thing and couldn't help myself. Amara is a nazi.))

"So many questions, not enough answers," a female's voice whispered into the darkness.

She stepped out of her hiding place, revealing her bright blonde hair, vivid blue eyes, and nearly translucent skin. Her lips were pursed in an amused look, one that made her high cheekbones stand out. Over her shoulders, she wore a jacket, an army jacket from WWII. The Nazi symbolism was apparant.

"Looks like we have something in common," she motioned to the emblem in his hand. Her voice was smooth, entrancing. She spoke to him as she spoke to her victims.

Amara stepped closer to him, eyes narrowing curiously. She crossed her arms over her chest and cocked her head sideways.

"Now what is one, such as yourself, doing in Demaitre? Hiding, perhaps?" A grin spread across her face and she shook her head.

"And from what, might I ask?"

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - February 28, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
((not at all, welcome aboard))

Seemingly unphased by the sudden arrival of this strange female, Vincent turned.
To be honest he was more irritated that he'd not smelled her arrival, too deep in his thoughts.

He held the emblem up, a beam of moonlight caught it, highlighting the swastika and its surmounting eagle, flicked his hand, and it dissapeared.
"Such as myself?" he enquired, "What do you mean by that? As to what I'm hiding from, I should think I'm hiding from what everyone else; the past. Unfortunatly the past seems able to catch up to you faster than you can the future, or the present for that matter."

He studdied her, who was she? Did she know him? Was she an ally?
No, he had no allies, he was mad, after all.

Aspen Raen - March 1, 2006 03:01 AM (GMT)
Amara shrugged, blue eyes studying him as she did everyone.

"I don't know," she grinned, her eyes watching as the swastika disappeared from sight, "I suppose it just seemed like you had come along way."

Amara had no room to talk really. She had come to Demaitre in an effort to hide from her past, her present, her future. Except that it was difficult to do do all three. She couldn't avoid the last two, nor aparantly the first as she was finding out.

"Where do you come from?"

Her way of asking him if he is a Nazi without actually asking him.

"You know, Hitler stole that. It used to be harmless African symbol. Now it evokes feeling of fear and resentment. Amazing, is it not? It gives those like us power, or at least it used to."

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 1, 2006 11:15 AM (GMT)
"I did know that. Did you know that is you look in the house that was used by the last Tsar, then you can see Swastikas along with prayers carved into the windows? As to where I am from, Stavangar in Norway was my birthplace, but I've not been there for almost a thousand years. I don't consider it home anymore. As to the question of your eyes, no, I am not a NAZI. If fact I went to great lengths to stop them."

Aspen Raen - March 2, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
Amara's smile didn't fade and she nodded.

"The second part I have figured out already. It really isn't that hard once you study a person. The first part though, about Nicholas' house, I did not know. Interesting indeed."

She fell silent, thinking about what he had said...fighting against people like her. Good, since she had also fought as well, at least in the end.

"And I am glad to see another who agrees. I spent more than two years of my life on my knees, figuratively speaking, in front of Hitler. He was a god to me...then I figured it all out, and I too, devoted myself to fighting against what he did. Still, some things you can't get rid of. I suppose some of my old beliefs still wage a battle inside me. A reason for this jacket."

She pulled up her sleeve, the swastika tattoo was visible on her wrist.

"And this is something I have to live with, no matter how I choose."

Of course, her main reason for fighting secretly against Hitler was that she had been angry. She had lost his love...her dear Adolf. She was child then. The murder she saw followed afterwards and confirmed her doubts. But murder now meant nothing to her. Perhaps her reason for still wearing the jacket that she did.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 2, 2006 04:17 PM (GMT)
Vincent regarded the woman with his steely eyes.
She was a Nazi... Could she be trusted? For that matter, could anyone be trusted?
He supposed not.
Still, she did not seem aggresive, not to him, and not right now, at any rate.

"The past is no easy thing to live with. We all have our cages. What's yours like I wonder..."

Aspen Raen - March 3, 2006 01:20 AM (GMT)
Amara shook her head, beginning to walk a few feet away. She could never stay still for long, well not really as of late.

"Ahh, my past is not of interest to you, I'm sure. But I am curious as to yours. You seem to be trying to escape that cage which holds you captive. Tell me, who is it you are running from, or what?"

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 3, 2006 08:12 PM (GMT)
'Do I have a sign on me that says analyze me?' Vincent wondered.

"You say that your history is none of my buisness, yet you enquire into mine..." He said, slyly, "Well, if you insist. I am... avoiding an old aquaintance of mine, Nathanial was his name, it was he who drew me into battle with the third reich."

Aspen Raen - March 7, 2006 09:03 PM (GMT)
"Nay," Amara replied, "I did not say it is of no business to you, only that it would not be of interest to you. Your past, on the other hand would be of great interest to me. Besides, if you do not tell me, there are other ways I can gain information."

Amara reached up, tapping a finger against her skull, "Your mind, afterall, holds almost as many secrets as your heart. Both of which I can read with ease. This Nathanial character has links to the Third Reich? Tell me more about him and yourself, if you please."

Though what she said may have been strange, her motives for her questions were obvious. At least to her. Anything connected to the Nazi movement was connected to her. Perhaps she knew this Nathanial character, if he was a vampire at least.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 7, 2006 10:29 PM (GMT)
"I have no doubt you know Nathaniel. When he was part of the Reichstag, he worked under the title of Martin Bormann. If that rings a bell. Myself I have no history to speak of. I am a Viking, by birth, disgraced though I am. I have spent most of my death traveling, or running."

Aspen Raen - March 8, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
Amara looked at him curiously, the smile still on her face. She had heard the name. Amazing, after all these years that he could be there. Perhaps in Demaitre. They had met, once before, maybe a few times for. Perhaps it was time to get reacquainted. Not today, but maybe Vincent would lead her to him...eventually.

"This is all very interesting, but you still have told me what you have to do with Nazi's or fighting against them? What did he do to convince you to do just that?"

Sure, she sounded rude, but it wasn't Amara's way to be polite. She never was.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 8, 2006 11:56 PM (GMT)
Vincent frowned.
"An attitude like that. I can understand why you are a nazi. Yes, he did drive me to war. It is not my way to war. Not any more. Guns are an invention human and vampire could have done without. I was forced to fight to save him, from himself."

He resented being spoken to by this young one, she had all the impertinance of many other vampires, a trait they could have done without.

Aspen Raen - March 9, 2006 04:31 AM (GMT)
She was surprised he was actually answering her questions, especially since he wasn't obligated to, but she was glad he did. Kept her from being to bored.

Amara frowned, "I'm not a nazi. I'm...wayward...either way. I used to be Nazi. War is...better left alone. It's a silly reason for humans to kill each other because they are different."

Amara shrugged, thinking on the subject. She had once been there and sometimes still was. She used to feel superior to humans...because they were "different." The way she killed was still a little more than brutal. She really had no right to talk...but still...she did.

((sorry distracted...boyfriend on the phone))

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 9, 2006 04:47 PM (GMT)
"Well, the tense not withstanding... I have little time for someone who supports, or supported the nazis. Now, will you answer some of my questions? Or does our correspondance end here?"

Aspen Raen - March 9, 2006 08:25 PM (GMT)
Amara cocked her head sideways. Did that mean he had little time for her? If that was the case, she wondered, why was he still standing there?

"I suppose a few questions wouldn't hurt," she replied, slightly suspicious.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 9, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)
"What are your ties to the Nazies? I would say your accent is Austrian... And have you had any contact with Nath... Borman, since the war?"

Morrigan - March 10, 2006 12:02 AM (GMT)
The ancient was haunting the streets, as usual, and felt the presence of death. Instead of using the shadow for shield, she let herself be exposed. Her dark eyes stared from her ghostly face, dark curls fell to her shoulders. Tonight, like the past few weeks, she looked like a corspe bride. Not consuming blood can do that to a vampire. She turned the corner and entered an alley where two other undeads were talking. Not being a vampire who cared too much about manners, she decided to interrupt.

"Mind if I cut in?" Morrigan asked from a fair distance. She grinned, her fangy and pearly teeth shining in the dim streetlights.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 10, 2006 12:21 AM (GMT)
Vincent snapped around, this was a crowded city.
"Even if I did, I wouldn't stop you."

Aspen Raen - March 10, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
Amara was about to answer when the voice of a woman interrupted her thoughts. Her head snapped around in her direction and she raised her eyebrows.

"What does it matter? You already have."

Amara rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't say anything else to her for a moment, but instead turned to the male in front of her.

"No, I haven't. Not for years? Why?"

Indeed, the thought of meeting him had interested her. She wanted to see how much he had, or hadn't, changed. Besides, he might be someone that had common ground with her. Since her life had been pretty hectic, it might be nice to have a blast from the past walk into her life. Perhaps it would get rid of the confusion.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 15, 2006 12:41 PM (GMT)
"No reason. I merely wished to meet him once again. To finish what I began."

Aspen Raen - March 15, 2006 10:56 PM (GMT)
Amara raised her eyebrows in curiosity. Was there something else besides the fight against the Nazi's. He had a personal vendetta with this man.

"And, what, might I ask, did you begin?"

She wouldn't mind finding him either. Perhaps she could help.

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 15, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
"I began a relationship with a madman. I began a fight to end that madness. Thats what I want to end."

Anger was welling up inside Vincent. He disliked being treated like this.

Aspen Raen - March 16, 2006 03:13 AM (GMT)
Seeing his anger bothered her slightly. Ugh. That thing called guilt again was creeping up. She felt bad for invading his privacy. She had asked a lot of questions and expected none back. She had been rude, and didn't care if she got it back. But all of a sudden, she felt bad. She hated this. Almost a whole night guilt-free, but she supposed his anger reminded her of something she would rather not think about at the moment.

She stepped closer to him and reached out to touch his arm. Her empathy also gave her the ability to sooth others, one she could never remember using...except for on maybe one person. Her hand rested gently for a moment on his arm, like she understood where he was coming from. Surely she did.

"Sorry to have upset you," Ugh, disgusting...what was she saying?

"Perhaps I can help you in some way?"

Vincent Xavier Sepespian - March 17, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
"That," Said Vincent, calming again, "Depends. Nathaniel is mad, you see. It is likely that if he is in Demaitre, he will carve a bloody swathe through the populace, mortal or otherwise, to find me. Can you stomach that?"

Aspen Raen - March 23, 2006 01:18 AM (GMT)
"Stomach it?" A smile spread across Amara's face, "I'll bathe in it."

It was true, she wasn't the most gentle of killers. Seeing someone else do the destruction could benefit Amara in more ways than one.

"After all, that is our life, is it not?"
