Title: FAQ: Help Board Useage
Description: Please Read This Before Posting

Q. Who can post a question here?
A. Everyone can! If you have a general question that you don't wish to trouble a mod personally about, post it here.

Q. Who can post replies to questions?
A. Coleslaw said it best:
"The help board is typically left for the new members to ask questions that the old timers answer. Due to the old timers being around for a long time, they generally know how to best answer all the questions asked here. When it comes to a question that has never been asked before, then think of the board like the Supreme Court. Jill, Nafretiri, Tsuka, Istar, and I [Coleslaw] review the topic, run everything past out Supreme Court Justice, Marcus, and make a final verdict that is subject to change only by Marcus's discretion.

If you KNOW the answer, due to it being in the rules or a previous help topic, then you may answer the question and refer them to the rules page or the previous help topic thread. If you are UNSURE of the answer, then DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION and leave it for one of the old timers."

Q. Can I post here to ask why my stats haven't been approved?
A. If you have ceased to value your head's continuing existence upon your neck, you sure can. (Translates into "no" for the sarcasm-impaired.)

Q. I just registered, but I can't post anywhere. Why not?
A. You've yet to send me a PM to let me know that you're human and not a spam bot. View this post for more details.

Other than that, take a good look at the "To Know Before Joining" and "Other Reading" sections before you post to make sure that your question cannot be answered by one of the articles already posted.
