The sky darkened as stars filled the sky, the deep-purple heavens covering the Earth in the wondrous hours of the night - wondrous to a vampire, at least, who could not go out in day without at least some irritation. Lucretius, though he could walk in diffuse sunlight, certainly wasn't about to go out in the middle of a hot summer day.

Having now stretched, bathed and almost completely clothed himself, Lucretius was about to go out on the town. He was just putting his shirt on when he heard the front doors up above and to the front of St. Anne's open and close loudly; someone had already been out and was coming back now, by the sound of the footsteps heading in the direction of the Crypt.

Lucretius had his own estate and didn't usually stay in the Crypt, but today had been an exception; though rare, he occasionally lost track of time. Last night had been one of those nights; thus, he'd slept in the Crypt today.

Pulling his overcoat on and straightening it, he heard the door to the Crypt open and close; he turned toward the stairs just as someone came down them.

Aireon entered the crypt and stopped in his tracks when he noticed a vampire a few inches smaller than him just finished dressing, Aireon had never met this vampire before but he got the feeling this vampire had been around for a long time, aireon wonderd how long.
