Title: Don't You Have Anything Vegetarian?

Zev stretched as he walked in the door, pulling his arms and, lifting his shirt a few inches to show off his pale, flat stomach that did little to make him attractive and only made him look a bit sickly. His expression was that of unamusement, exhaustion, but restlessness - a sort of boredom that was not curable, the kind that had to be ridden out and dealt with on an hour to hour basis. Sleep would most likely not come to him in the morning - but he did what he could now to wear himself out.

At the moment, that meant taking a seat at the diner, right in front, inbetween a metal napkin holder and some old, angry looking patrons a few seats down. He looked idly over at them and then down at the bar in front of him. A quick glance at a menu told him he wouldn't be able to eat much here other then a salad. He was vegetarian, of course. A vegetarian vampire. Typical, no?

He was getting some awkward stares - probably due to his age, and being out at the hour it was. He was well into adulthood to be honest, but his body was 15, and there was something not right about a 15 year old being out at a diner at 3 in the morning. Oh, well. He'd just keep his head down. He didn't have to look. Didn't have to watch them. Didn't have to notice.

Rikki stepped through the door and ran the back of her hand over her light pink lips. She had just fed for the night and had a slightly darker color in her fash, and her cheecks were even a slight bit flushed. She hardly looked vampire now, and her slightly rosey cheecks only enhanced the look of innocence on her. Golden blond curls, bright green eyes... who would have ever suspected her as a sex addicted vampire?

She calmly strode in and took a seat next to a sickly looking boy, not even paying him the time of day. Next to her... he looked like a rotting corpse while she looked like she belonged in some pagent. She was raised that way by Vincent, and a part of the reason why he bit her at the age she was. So she'd stay looking like this forever. He obviously thought that's where she'd remain forever... by his side. But obviously she had other plans.

When the waitress came by, she ordered a simple cup of coffee. The waitress smiled slightly and fetched the cup in a heartbeat. After giving it to Rikki, she nodded and walked back down the counter to the old fella's who were not only staring oddly at that sick little boy next to her... but even her now! She herself turned to look at the boy and lifted the drink to her lips. "Have you ever heard of feeding? Or are you afraid of blood?"She scoffed.

"Some people have morals." He muttered, not even looking up at her while he spoke. It wasn't that he didn't care - he just... no, he didn't. That sounds about right.

"And I feed." He spat back at her, his tone showing evidence that he was filled with distaste for the vampire seated next to him. "I just haven't gotten around to buying any tonight." He dropped the sentence off as if it was incompleted, and he kept his mouth open as well, but it did go unfinished, for he quickly ordered a cup of vegetable soup from the waitress when she scurried over to ask him if he was going to order anything. Soup would be good, especially on a night like tonight. The weather didn't agree with him, and it certainly didn't make his pale skin look any more appealing.

Even so, he was not unattractive. Sickly looking, yes, but there was an elegance and almost a renaissance-like grace to him. Perhaps it was his youth. But he could have passed for innocent any time he liked.

And indeed, there were circumstances where he was, in fact, innocent.

Just not many.

Rikki smirked. This would prove as time comsuming for atleast a few moments. He obviously didn't like her... and she was getting ready to show she was starting to loath him. Though she didn't care what the boy thought of her. Obviously she was far more superior over a vagitarien vampire. Maybe he just wasn't strong enough to catch his own prey... or just lazy. But she didn't give a rat's ass to find out.

"Any vampire who has to buy their meal isn't worth the priviledge of being a vampire." She muttered before lifting the drink to take another sip. When she was younger, true she did buy her blood... but that was before she found out the "thrill of the chase" and the memories of "toying with the minds of her prey". She took great joy in such.

"And morals can kiss my blood-sucking ass. I lost those a long time ago. About ten years ago to be exact." She murmmered. She had no control over what happened to her, and she regreted it for years till she finally came to relise it would never change... she then embraced what Vencent had done to her.

Though she'd never actually kill her prey. She'd "play" with them a while before taking what she needed, often being more than you'd think, then would leave the person unconcious somewhere, making sure they wouldn't beable to remember her... or what happened.

"I don't have to." He stated simply, looking up for the first time to give her the smugest look he could conjure. "I choose to. And it's none of your business anyway." He added as an afterthought, not wanting this girl to get the best of his emotions and work him up. He wasn't going to argue with her. Wasn't going to fight.

"We're all different - we all have different morals and points of view so why don't you just lay off and leave me alone? I didn't ask you to sit next to me." He clenched his teeth together, biting off any more inflammatory words he had the urge to spit out.

((Just a side note to "everyone"... Vampires have no stomachs, so they can't eat/drink normal food. Only things we allow are coffees and alcohol, because... I won't go science-y, but there are reasons as to why those two items and nothing else... But. Yes. No eating.))
