It really couldn't have been a worse situation. OKay yeah it could have. She could have been dealing with another Drake murder... Luckaly there hadn't been any in a while... About a year and a half now since Erica, the woman in the appartment down the hall, was murdered.
No, it wasn't that bad, the poor blind woman who only wanted a bit of company and who needed a friend... She could deal with a quiet night at the office. She had some filing and write ups to do anyway. She never liked to leave those to subbordinats. They had a tendancy to miss details. She didn't particularly like that.
"Hey Jax!' Came a man's voice. "What you still doing here girl?"
"Hey Tony." She was careful not to to even smile. "Ah, Must have annoyed Rick or something. Gave me a night shift tonight. Guess he knew I had all this paperwork to do huh?" She grilled slightly, feeling fairly safe that the blinds were shut and no open windows were around. "But hey, you headen' home?"
"Oh yeah. Crystal's getten mad I'm worken so many nights She'll be happy I'm home tanight though." He smiled back. "Hey Jaxon, you know you're welcomed over any time for dinner or something." He said as he tugged on his heavy jacket. The winter weather was starting to kick in.
"I know Tony. And I would love to. But you know I can't..." Tony was one of the few that actualy knew about Drake.
"Yeah I suppose." He nodded. He hates seeing her all alone because of some uncatchable psycho... "You take care though aright?" He said with a nod as he headded for the door.
"Will do Tone, See you tomorrow." Jax waved as she watche dhim leave before makign her wat back to her desk. What she woudln't give for a bit of interest tonight...
