Title: Our Savior Lutheran Church
Description: Stalking and Slaying (OPEN)
Joseph Braska - November 6, 2005 04:33 AM (GMT)
Joseph Braska, a slender, pale man, snuck along a pathway. He saw lights on in the church. Must be some sort of Wednesday night service. he thought to himself. He snuck around behind a tree, and observed. He heard them sing a hymn, and it nearly drove him insane. He lept into the air, and landed on the roof, near a cross. He punched it quickly, sending it off the roof.
The suit-clad Ishak crept to the edge of the roof, near the door, and laid back on the roof. He plugged his ears, and waited for the service to end. I want to avoid these Amman idiots. So, I suppose I should go with a more secret approach? I'll wait for it to end, grab whoever I can catch on thier own as they walk out, and feast! he continued to plot. Perhaps the pastor, if I can manage it...they always have the best taste. He heard them stop, and peeked his head over the roof, in clear view by the street.

((I hope this is an open topic, if not feel free to ignore my post))
"Having fun?" The voice of a woman came from behind him. She didn't care if she was interrupting something. Amara had sensed the man from afar and she could tell he was hungry. Hunting at a church? Very daring, not so smart. She smiled. She had figured she'd come and warn him. Any Amman would sense him there. It was impossible that they would not. Thousands of years older, they would have a slight advantage on this man.
Whoever he was, she knew he was angry. Not because she could hear his thoughts, but because she saw him punch the cross off of the roof. She didn't invade his mind. Interrupting his dinner was invasion of space enough.

((Sure is!))
Joseph, startled, turned around. He sneered wickedly. "My business is my own. Should I prefer the blood of preists and parishoners to mundane mortals, so be it." he said cruelly. "But who are you to approach me, mortal?"
He stood up, and turned to face her. "I fear no man nor vampire. If an oldblood has quarrel with me, so be it. But you, you cannot think of the joy I experiance when I feast on such a thing. For you don't know how depraved I am of any sort of happiness. How desperatly I search for something truelly tasty, not just sustaining. A small taste of death." he concluded.
He heard a new hymn begin, and hoped is was the benediction, and the service would soon be over. "But if you cause me to miss my carefully planned meal, I shall feast on your blood, be warned. Leave mortal."

((Sorry, I forgot to clarify. I am using Amara, my vampire. Newly created))
Amara laughed. Mortal. Who was he to call her mortal? Amusement sparkled in her eyes. So her powers of hiding who she really was worked better than she thought. Then again, this man was just newly sired. She wondered by whom?
It was made sense that he thought she was a mortal, because she could have made it on the roof through the bell tower on the top of the church and she had clearly been trying to keep her identity from showing at first. He was a new vampire, she had wanted to feel him out before she approached him. Already she could tell that he was one of those that she liked. He embraced his "gift."
"Funny that you should warn me. I am thrice your age," she sneered, "But I shall not harm you, vampire. But as a warning, you should be careful who you call 'mortal'. You wouldn't want to offend someone you can't handle."
Joseph Braska - November 10, 2005 12:51 AM (GMT)
Stupid of me. How could a mortal sneak up on me? Braska thought to himself. "To what coven do you belong?" he asked peacefully. He had only just grasped the 'coven' concept. Perhaps she'd like to enjoy part of the feast? He turned his head slightly to listen in on the music. Curse. A while yet to go. he continued to think.
Aspen Raen - November 10, 2005 04:13 AM (GMT)
"Yes, exactly how could a mortal sneak up on you? Even you are smarter than that," Amara said, responding to his thoughts. "But as for joining you, no thanks. I prefer to prey only when I am hungry. I, myself belong to no coven. Don't take well to authority."
She shrugged, her eyes amused, danger radiating from her.
"I just thought I should warn you before you prey here. The Amman are everywhere. I don't think you can get away with it here, not at a church. Perhaps you should take your hunting elsewhere...or follow someone home, but here? It is not a very good idea."
Joseph Braska - November 11, 2005 04:16 AM (GMT)
Joseph chuckled a bit. "I like the protection it affords. Also, the first Tarephas I saw were slaughtering a priest. I knew I had to join." he said calmly. "But, I'm not dumb enough to eat someone here, in the open. I'll lure on off to some forest or something, and then suck every drop of blood from his body. I'm starving..."he trailed off. "And nothing fills me up better than the zealous."

Amara smiled and shrugged once again.
"Do as you please, for now I suppose I must be going. I have my own hunting to do. It was meet you Joseph Braska. I hope I shall see you again soon."
With that she turned around, her blonde hair bouncing of her shoulders with the movement, and stepped of the roof of the building. If he had looked over, he would see that she was no where to be found.
((Maybe we can rp somewhere else, I couldn't think of anything else to say. I am so tired and trying to respond to all my rps.))
