Title: Beethoven At 2am.
Description: *open*
Marius - September 30, 2005 01:01 PM (GMT)
It was a cold night, but a beautiful one. The stars were glittering in the sky like thousands of miniscule beacons trying to light the heavens and the sky itself was completley black, the only thing lightening it being the stars.
It was 2am, and the mortals were all asleep, with the exceptions of the usual drunks and drug-users. (However, Marius supposed that they would be to intoxicated to pay attention to the sky) Even so, Marius made sure he did not make any noise. The last thing he needed was a mortal raising the alarm because they had seen a burglar on the rooftops.
Marius was wearing his usual choice of clothes, a black frilly shirt with black jeans and steel toe capped shoes. However due to the coldness of the night, Marius had also donned a black 'gothic' jacket which came down close to his heels.
Carefully and silently, Marius jumped from rooftop to rooftop with the agility of a cat, landing on a rooftop where the shadows were plentiful.
Perfect.
Marius sat down in one of the shadowy corners and from one of this inside jacket pockets, he took out his Walkman and his CD of classical music. After placing the CD in and turning the Walkman on, Marius placed the earphones in his ears.
At once, he heard the familiar sound of Beethoven's Symphony No.1 in C. A brilliant piece of music, Marius let it 'flow' through him and smiled. Truly, this was ecstasy.

The wind whistled a beautiful sound that occupied his mind along with the symphony of the orchestra that was alive in his mind. He had been away for a while but had returned now to finally meet someone with a taste in music, life and above all compassion.
Lucius stepped onto the wooden floorboards, his white shit with a black tie following him as he did so. The blonde beautiful hair shimmered down his hair in a cascade of serenity and enthusiasm.
"Good evening" He bowed before taking the nice leather backed seat facing opposite the kindred. "Forgive me for my intrusion but I could not help myself, the music provoked me to your establishment" He liked the look of the vampire, he seemed knowledge and thought provoking.
Finally he relaxed into a dazing fixture, the music, his life, his hope.

Marius was in a state of nirvana, in such that the music he was listening to was flowing through his body, cleansing all the pain in his body. Marius allowed himself to be carried into the heaven that he called Classical Music.
However, his inner peace was disturbed when someone came up near him. Marius took off one earphone and took a sideway glance at the person. It was obviously a vampire, no human could have gotten up here without making a racket.
"Good evening" greeted the vampire, bowing to Marius, "Forgive me for my intrusion but I could not help myself, the music provoked me to your establishment".
"It's nice to know that there are people who appreciate Classical Music," Marius said in nought but a whisper before returning to his sanctum of 1001 stings.
Aracind - October 10, 2005 05:27 PM (GMT)
Lucius nodded, he had much appreciated the dying art of classical music, and music itself had been falling into a pit of dispair ever since the appearance of "hip hop" or "urban" music
He pushed his long blonde hair from his eyes as he whispered.
"So, may I have the pleasure of your name and your location of birth my friend?"
Marius - October 12, 2005 11:21 AM (GMT)
Marius smiled to himself, it was a small and quick smile of satisfaction for nowadays it was rare to find someone who liked classical music more than the usual hip-hop, rap and heavy metal.
This vampire seemed friendly enough, maybe Marius should introduce himself.
"My name is Marius, I was born in Tudor England during the black death."
Marius turned the volume down on his music so it was a small whisper in the wind. He didn't want to shout after all, that could cause bother.
He looked up at the night-time sky and felt at peace. The stars were shining in the sky like mid-air diamonds, beautifying the sky and clouds around it. It was one of those sights which was only described in fairy tales.
"And who might you be?" Marius asked to stranger.
After all, he was new here so he might as well know some names before he jumped head first in a friendship.
Aracind - October 14, 2005 03:10 PM (GMT)
Lucius took in his name and absorbed his life story within seconds, all he needed was a name and an accent and he could place the person entirely. He suddenly came to his senses as he realised the vampire was talking.
"Im sorry" He spoke. "My name is Lucius Bratina, I was born in Rome about.." He puzzled his mind, it had been a long time and now the moments had run thin and his memory was starting to loose itself. "around two-hundred years before the birth of Christ I would say, I have been persecuted most of my life... always on my heels you see"
He thought of the Hugo character Jean Valjean who had taken to his heels after he had stolen the silver, Lucius had stolen no silver... but rather killed his sire.

Marius was suprised to see a vampire over 2000 years old, here in the city.
"2000 years, amazing. Are you one of the Amman then?" Marius asked.
He remembered that the whole reason he was here was because of an Amman vampire and in a way, he owed a great tribute to the clan of Amman. Infact, he wanted to join the Amman but he was too young, to inexperianced.
Maybe in about 500 years he would try again.
Aracind - October 16, 2005 08:29 PM (GMT)
With a nod of his head the ancient spoke in his native tongue.
"EGO sum lost , meus mens est lost" He was indeed lost and time was slowly passing over him, he remember the times where he could stand in his American home and play the violin in the early hours of the morning without anyone hearing... or perhaps play the piano to a silent melody.
"The Amman did not accept me" He did not bow his head, but instead he remained firm, his composure perfect and his words full of purpose.
Marius - October 18, 2005 08:59 AM (GMT)
Marius didn't delve any more into the subject, he didn't want to pry into a stranger's life. Instead he returned to the night-time bliss and thought about what he should do with his life.
He didn't say anything else, instead he sat there and listened to his music. He wondered about what he was going to do in the future. He wondered if he was going to ever join a clan. Maybe he would join a clan...
Marius ended his thoughts and continued to listen to his music.
