Title: La La

Rin stepped out into the night, the pavement of the streets and sidewalk was moist with the mist that had come the evening before. Rin's feet were silent as she stalked after the blond. When stalking it helped to be dead, when drinking it helped to have a pair of nicely sharpened fangs and when killing perverted cooks it helped to have strength to rip their throats out.

Maybe Rin could have her fun after all.

Tabbi stopped as she reached the corner. Her legs were sore and she hated these sneakers. She rubbed her legs a bit waiting for a few cars to go by, wondering if she should just go dancing or watch TV. Right now dancing sounded sexy, she needed time to be herself. She leaned against the light pole and stretched, har arms over her head. To someone who knoew her it might seem a sexy pose, she arched her back, the tight blouse riding up to expose the midriff of a professional quality athlete. She tossed her hair back, no longer bound in a ponytail, now over her shoulders as it fanned out. She was enjoying the cool night air, evidenced by the obvious rises under her blouse.

Rin stopped at the corner, she heard the girls movements and stepped around. "Tabitha?" She laughed. "either your not that bright or your brave." She had figured that since the girl had seen the murdered cook that perhaps she would have gone straight home. She needed more clothes too.

Tabbi smiled. Oh Im not brave." she giggled. "Nope, not this girl. Im going home, gonna get changed, maybe go dancing. I guess I wont need to get up for work tomorrow, and well, I will need to go job hunting again." she shrugged. She liked her new friend, sort of, so far she had seemed nice enough. "Say, you hear what happenned? Someone whacked skinny." she said like it was some sort of secret. "They should find them... and give them a medal." she laughed.
"Hey, I gotta go to my flat real fast and change into something for the club, wanna drink?" she asked smiling. "C'mon its right over there, wont take a minute."

Not Brave?

Rin could always think of another word. Rin assumed Skinny was the fat ass in the kitchen of the diner. "No. Really?" Gag me with a spoon.

She adjusted the collar so it kept the wind off the back of her neck and smiled. "I don't drink ... but I haven't been to a club in a while." She wasn't exactly dressed for one, but it wasn't like they were gunna shoot her for lacking in style. Right? Rin's nerves were easing up some. The girl brought back memories of before she died, it took a series of vampires to make an actual ... painful transition but Rin tried to stick to mortality as much as possible. Clubbing again would probably get the ball rolling.

Tabitha led the way to her flat, it was dark, not well lit with a bare bulb from the ceiling. There was no furnature, nothing to sit on. In the back of the large room was a bare matress with a sleeping bag on it and next to that a rack with a dozen outfits. On the floor were three milk crates with underware and toiletries. Obviously this was not meant to be a permanent home.
Tabbi seemed oblivious to her guest, she undressed casually and showered off, not seeming to care that she had only just met this lady, but at the same time, showing a casual confidance that girls from big cities show. Maybe a act, maybe real, but it was what it was.
After showering, she dressed in what cold only be described as "WOW" wear. She chose a black dress that left just enough to the imagination to make it erotically charged, the underware she chose was surely part of the over all mood that she was looking for. And her heels were spiked and chrome stilletos. She giggled as she brushed her hair and then turned presenting herself. "Well, sorry it took so long, but I guess this will have to do." She smiled, if you want, you can use whatever you see, I dont care. But we should get going soon if we want to get any dancing in tonight."

Rin was leaning against an off-white wall taking in the place as the girl groomed herself. She had lived in a flat similar to this when her apartment had went up in flames, unfortunately her father appeared and his sudden demise led to her leaving. Thank God. Rin smiled as the girl showed off her outfit, she was sure anything the girl had would be so tight on her something might pop out. Hey it happened once before.

Rin shook her head, "Thats alright, I think I'll go with what I have." She had to admire the shoes, the Nikes she wore at the moment seemed to be greatly overshadowed in the stilletos uniqueness. Rin liked them, and probably would have asked if she could borrow a pair if she hadn't known how affected her ability to walk would be. Her mother had always claimed she looked like Tinker Bell learning how to walk, or Pamela Anderson ... Ew.

"Where do you shop?" Rin said with genuine curiousity as she turned and headed for the door.

tabbicat - September 21, 2005 07:46 PM (GMT)
"I do most of my shopping at the homegirl shopping network.." she joked. "Seriously, I like to go to stored that carry goth stuff, Trails, or even go to pagan stores, those voo doo types got the best stuff." Tabitha smiled, walked over and sprayed some perfume on, Exclamation. She smiled and offered her arm, like a couple. "Shall we knock em dead?" she giggled.

Rin watched her. She was nothing like Tsuki, Tsuki was timid conservative and like a sister. Tabitha was like a party demon who drug you down with her. Yikes. She nodded. "Yeah I used to shop in stores like that." That was when it first began though, when she knew she wasn't part of the day.

Rin took her hand, and opened the door with the other one. This was kinda fun.
