Title: Dragons & Devils

"Mortals. Making ugly art and selling it in bulk. It disgusts me," Bliss mumbled to himself. He was complaining, again. This time in a geek store at the mall. Games, models, and toys surrounded him. Awesome images were everywhere. Hours -no days- of entertainment flashed around him, yet all he could do was...

"Do you have any real art here?" He spat at the young woman behind the counter. She only blinked. He slammed a vampire toy in front of her. "What is this?"

"A vampire, sir," she anwsered, meekly.

He glared at it. It was painted pure white with bright red lipstick and heavy, black eyeliner. It wore a cape and an old fashioned suit. It's black, plastic hair was slicked back neatly. Ugly fangs bulged from it's tiny mouth. Bliss snarled.

"A vampire. Have you ever seen a vampire?"

She shook her head. She wasn't sure if she should laugh or cry. This beautiful, strange man was shouting at her.

"Well, I have...not, either! But I'm sure they don't walk around looking like fools!" He snapped, tossing the doll at her.

She caught it, clumsily. Her eyes watched him as he picked up a book. Dragons covered the front.

"I'll take this. I love dragons," he demanded. The frightened girl nodded and rang it up. He yanked the bagged book from her small hands. "Thank you." Bliss nodded, and left.

The girl nearly fainted.

Indigo was shopping. One of her favorite past times. Today had been a good day, she'd gotten a new pair of jeans, a new sleezy skirt, and 3 new low cut tops. Oh, and a wicked pair of go-go boots. Her high heeled sandels she wore now clicked as she walked on the tile floor, past stores of clothes, smells, and electronic wonders. She paused by a game room to stare in awe at the graphics on some shoot-em-up game. Little things the mortals came up with always amazed her!

Inside the store, she heard a man raging about a vampire doll. She grinned a bit. Oh, how right he was! When the man turned and raged out of the store, Indigo noted he WAS a vampire.

"They are ridiculous, those toys, aren't they?" she commmented.

Bliss froze. His small fury had blocked his senses. The female surpirsed him. He turned and smiled at her, lowering the bag that was held close to his chest.

"Yes, indeed! Maybe I should start a little company of my own. I'll make better dolls and games than that...thing," Bliss barked. He chuckled. That did sound like an excellent idea! Though, the Amman may not like it. That thought made him grin broader.

"Or, I could write a book. I'll be famous," he stated, gayly.

He checked the lass out. His amazing eyes stopped at her feet. "Nice shoes."

"Ah, but I believe you would make quite a few enemies on our side," she commented on his idea of writing a book. "Although all the worshipping fans might be worth it..."

Indigo flashed him a smile as he commented on her shoes. "Thanks, I'm glad someone appreciates them. They're hell to walk in!" She laughed quietly.

"Yes, heels can be painful," Bliss said, chuckling, "It took me weeks to get used to them. Maybe I should buy me a new pair."

Yes, Bliss had worn women's shoes before. Don't ask.

"Well, I must be off! I recommand the fancy dragon book in there. I got one myself. Later, sweet!" Bliss took her hand and kissed it, flashing a smile as he released it. He walked towards the nearest coffee shop, just for kicks, his new book swinging at his thigh.
