Title: Questions And Coffee
Description: -For Belinda-

Morrigan - June 27, 2005 05:11 PM (GMT)
The smell of the place was overwelming. Blood, flesh, coffee, tea, sweat, perfumes, life. The smell of life was everywhere. Morrigan just stood outside the shop soaking it up. The moment of pleasure and pain passed shiftly. Now, the smell of coffee pulled her in.

A soft breeze blew against her pale legs and face. Her red skirt and black shirt hid under a black coat. She was wearing her famous "ass-stomping" boots. As she walked through the doors emotions started striking at her from all directions. None interested her. But the cashier was pretty.

"Hello," Morrigan said to the young man. He spit out his forced greeting and asked her what she wanted.

Your blood. Your life. Your heat. She thought. She said, instead, "A tall latte."

She carried her order to a table and settled in the seat. Her back was straight, ankles crossed, and hands in her lap. The hot liquid sat on a napkin, steaming. Morrigan was not going to drink it. Soon, if her plans worked to her desire, she would be more of a vampire and unable to consume anything other than blood without becoming ill. Poison would not effect her.

If my plan works...

She looked around, waiting to spot Belinda in the crowd. Morrigan had a lot of questions to answer tonight.

Belinda - June 29, 2005 04:37 PM (GMT)
Now if I am right it should be just around this corner. Belinda walked to the coffee house. She look inside the window and noticed all the humans inside. Many people were using laptops and others were standing and sitting socializing. Belinda was worried, she had never been in such a place with so many people. Her years of solitude has made her leery of the public in large numbers. She realized that in this city she must grow accustom to this if she was going to find the answers she needs.

Belinda proceeded to open the door. The smell of java was overbearing but continued inside. Belinda wasn't one to wear fancy clothing, as a matter of fact she enjoyed the clothing of today. Wearing tight leather pants and a small crop top. She felt the eyes fall on her, especially the men. This gift of sexuality was something she always used to her advantage when in search of food. So many yummy morsels. As she was checking out potential meals for the night, she caught a familiar scent. With her preternatural senses she looked around sorting through the crowd. It was Morrigan, sitting and looking directly at her. Belinda walked over to her and nodded her head. " Evening dear Morrigan", and a gesture was made for her to sit. Belinda was once again captivated by the beauty of her, for in the lighting even more of her was seen. With a hint of humor she asked "Do you come here often?" Giving a smile she waited for Morrigan to answer.

((ooc)) - Thank you for being patient, I finally got my power back, it went out twice in a week. Hopefully it stays on, I hate living like a caveman lol.

Morrigan - June 30, 2005 07:40 PM (GMT)
Morrigan noticed the vampire instantly. "Evening, Belinda," she greeted the new one and gestured her to sit down. Morrigan smiled. She liked Belinda.

"I do come here often. Coffee fiends are amusing," she answered, a twinkle in her eye, "Of course, I can drink it. It's taste is hard to catch. My senses maybe strong, but blood rules them."

She relaxed a little, crossing her legs at the knees. While debating on wearing tinted glasses or not, Morrigan leaned forward. "First of all, do you have any questions? I'm sure you do. It would be nice if vampires had welcoming parties for each city and town." She pushed the drink aside. "Afterwords, we can go hunting together!"

Belinda - July 1, 2005 06:00 PM (GMT)
The thought of hunting with another stunned her a moment. She was hungry and wondered if she had been obvious with the want for food. "Yes I do, and many" Belinda replied. Sorting through her mind she began to think of all the questions. "The covens, please tell me more." "I need to find out information about the vampires in this city." Belinda stopped, she wanted to let out everything at once but in order to let the answers come she would have to slow down.

Belinda sat back in her seat when a rather large man bumped right into her "Oh, sorry, next time watch out" the man said. She gave out a low growl. The man could not hear it with his human senses. Cattle.... all of them cattle.

Morrigan - July 2, 2005 05:27 PM (GMT)
Morrigan's eyes rolled. Nothing was more dull to her than a mortal with an attitude problem. She chuckled at Belinda's growl. Youngs ones are always amusing. Morrigan liked more subtle games. Just for kicks and giggles she slammed the man's mind with a nasty image of a child sucking his blood. He froze and looked back at the table. But the girls were ignoring him. His face was pale.

"How rude," Morrigan mumbled, as if she cared about a mortal, "Anyhow, there are five covens in this city. I admire the Amman. The seem to keep vampires in their place. Then there is the Enashe. They are immortals that live as mortals. The Ishak are your "classical" vampires. The Nephim are vampires that sway between their mortal past and their immortal future. The Tarepha are wild vampires, best exposed in doses. Of course, the covens are more complex than that. I just gave you a general idea. Which one would you like to know more about?"

Belinda - July 3, 2005 02:57 PM (GMT)
Belinda thought a moment on what was said about the covens. " I am not sure" she said. "Maybe I should get straight to my main question, where do you think I would find my maker?" she paused. What coven if any would he fit "I have tried using the mind gift but I cannot get anything from it when regarding him." It was obvious that Morrigan knew much more on the mind gift then Belinda. She had the feeling again, eyes watching. " I have also noticed that someone has been watching me, it unnerves me that I cannot see who."

Morrigan - July 5, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
Morrigan glanced at the floor, staring into nothing. She spoke without looking up at Belinda. "Mind gifts are different for everyone. Some vampires don't have them at all. As for your sire...he might be blocking you out. Why? I do not know. If you know his coven we may find him through others who know him."

Should I mention my "black book" of names? No. That's too much.

She licked her pink lips and looked up to Belinda. "As for the person stalking you...I sense them as well. It is one of my gifts. Does this person seem dangerous to you?" Morrigan hoped not. Her mind was overwhelmed with other matters. Not that she did not want to protect this one. Guarding others was her passion. She just had other problems to deal with. Like the rumor of her spawn making spawn of his own.

"I will help you with whatever problems you have," Morrigan insured Belinda.

Belinda - July 7, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
Belinda tried to scan out thoughts in the room to attempt to pick out something usual, something that would hint to who the watcher was. Once again there was nothing.
"I do not know what the intentions of this stranger watching" she whispered quietly. "But whoever it may be is older and stronger then us." Belinda looked down, fumbling with her hands that began to tingle.
"There are so many of our kind around and I feel lost, I have no idea where to begin my search here." "I must know my maker, I need to know why I was spared" she said.
As Belinda sat there with a sadness building she felt a sudden sharp pain. The pain was as if a dagger was stabbed between her eyes. Belinda hands held tight to her temples. "What is happening to......" and out came a sigh of pain. Belinda fell to the floor. Visions came to her in flashes. Just before Belinda fell out of conscious, she saw Morrigan standing over her. "Take me..safe..place" was all she could manage to say. Belinda was about to have an awakening to many things.

Morrigan - July 8, 2005 08:55 PM (GMT)
Morrigan stood up, slowly as not to cause alarm, and looked down at Belinda. She wanted to go somewhere safe. The old warrior nodded and lifted her up, trying not to show off her unusual strength. All the mortals were staring at them now.

"My sister is ill," Morrigan lied, "Don't worry. I'll take care of her." Carefully, she left the small shop and walked around the corner. As she signaled for a taxi she tried to sense another vampire. But no one new was around.

"Who's haunting you, young one," she mumbled, as they slipped into the taxi.

(ooc: Sorry for the short post. I'm in a hurry! We'll have to continue this at Morrigan's place under the title: At Morrigan's House.)
